Michael Pittman: Misses practice Wednesday
Wednesday, November 5, 2025 3:59 PM Urban Achievers

Pittman (glute) didn't practice Wednesday.

Pittman was on the field for 88 percent of the Colts' snaps on offense in the team's Week 9 loss to the Steelers, a game in which he caught nine of his 12 targets for a season-high 115 yards. Thursday's injury report will provide added context with regard to his status for Sunday's game against the Falcons, but it Pittman is hindered at all this weekend, Ashton Dulin would be a candidate for an uptick in snaps alongside Alec Pierce and Josh Downs.

Rome Odunze: No practice Wednesday
Wednesday, November 5, 2025 3:56 PM Riverboat Rivera

Odunze (ankle/heel) did not practice Wednesday.

Odunze logged a DNP/LP/FP practice slate prior to being cleared to suit up for Chicago's narrow win over the Bengals in Week 9, so as long as he's able to put forth similar activity ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants he should be able to take the field. Versus Cincinnati, Odunze failed to haul in any of his three targets. DJ Moore (hip/groin) also missed practice Wednesday while Luther Burden (concussion) was a full participant.

D'Andre Swift: Back to limited practice
Wednesday, November 5, 2025 3:55 PM Building a Bully #136

Swift (groin) was limited in practice Wednesday.

One week removed from not practicing at all before sitting out this past Sunday at Cincinnati due to a lingering groin injury, Swift is back on the field and joined by No. 2 RB Kyle Monangai, who also was limited due to an ankle issue. Monangai dominated a porous Bengals defense Week 9, racking up 198 yards from scrimmage on 29 touches. With their top two backfield options banged up, the situation at the position is up in the air as the Bears prepare to face the Giants on Sunday.

Jacoby Brissett: Set for at least four more starts
Wednesday, November 5, 2025 3:55 PM Free Agent

Brissett is in line to make at least more four starts while Kyler Murray (foot) is on injured reserve, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon gave conflicting statements earlier this week when reporters asked if Murray is still viewed as the starting QB when healthy. Whatever the case, Murray is now ineligible for the next four games, despite being listed as a limited practice participant on recent injury reports. He's recovering from a mid-foot sprain, with Adam Schefter of ESPN reporting that the QB was given a recovery timeline of 4-to-8 weeks (in which case the practice participation may have been gamesmanship). Arizona's passing attack has looked better with Brissett at the helm, but a trip to Seattle this Sunday will be arguably be his toughest test yet.

Nick Chubb: Not practicing Wednesday
Wednesday, November 5, 2025 3:49 PM Orphan Marvin Harry

Chubb (undisclosed) wasn't spotted at practice Wednesday, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.

The Texans' upcoming injury report will clarify what caused Chubb's absence from the session, but with regard to the running back's status for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, coach DeMeco Ryans said "we'll see as the week goes on." If Chubb is limited or out versus Jacksonville, Woody Marks would be in line for added touches, with Dameon Pierce, Dare Ogunbowale and British Brooks also in Houston's Week 10 backfield mix.

Ka'imi Fairbairn: Expected to miss Week 10
Wednesday, November 5, 2025 3:40 PM Highseas OO

Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said Wednesday he "does not" expect Fairbairn (quadriceps) to be available for Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Fairbairn went 5-for-6 on field-goal attempts during Houston's 18-15 loss to Denver in Week 9, scoring all of the Texans' points, but he sustained a quadriceps injury in the process. If Fairbairn is indeed unable to play Sunday, Matthew Wright will be elevated from the practice squad and handle kicking duties versus Jacksonville. C.J. Stroud (concussion) has already been ruled out for Week 10, and with Davis Mills under center Houston's offense could struggle to manufacture scoring opportunities.

Davis Mills: Set for Week 10 start
Wednesday, November 5, 2025 3:36 PM Free Agent

Mills is slated to start Sunday's game against the Jaguars after Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said Wednesday that C.J. Stroud (concussion) "will be out," Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Mills entered Houston's 18-15 loss to the Broncos in Week 9 early in the second quarter in relief of Stroud. He finished with an unimpressive line, completing just 17 of 30 passes for 137 yards while rushing twice for seven yards. With Stroud in line to miss at least one more game while working to gain clearance from the concussion protocol, expect the Texans to lean on the strength of their defense and task Mills to hold down the fort as a game manager versus Jacksonville. Mills is only on the fantasy radar as a streamer in deeper formats that allow multiple quarterbacks to be started.

Kyler Murray: Moving to injured reserve
Wednesday, November 5, 2025 3:36 PM Milk Check

Coach Jonathan Gannon announced Wednesday that the Cardinals are placing Murray (foot) on injured reserve, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.

One day removed from Gannon naming Jacoby Brissett as Arizona's starting QB for Week 10, Murray now will be sidelined for the rest of November due to the mid-foot sprain that has kept him out since he suffered it Week 5. Brissett will continue to lead the offense for the foreseeable future, while Gannon told Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com that Murray has a chance to return this season. Murray's first opportunity to do so will be Sunday, Dec. 7 against the Rams.

C.J. Stroud: Won't play Sunday
Wednesday, November 5, 2025 3:33 PM Hit Reserve

Coach DeMeco Ryans noted Wednesday that Stroud (concussion) "will be out" Sunday against the Jaguars, Adam Schefter of ESPN and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network report.

With Stroud in the NFL's concussion protocol and not slated to be available this weekend, Davis Mills is in line to draw the start at QB for Houston on Sunday. Stroud's next chance to see game action will occur in Week 11, when the Texans play Tennessee on the road.

Devaughn Vele: Taking on larger role
Wednesday, November 5, 2025 3:02 PM Free Agent

Vele should get more playing time after the Saints dealt Rashid Shaheed to the Seahawks on Tuesday, Nola.com's Luke Johnson reports.

Vele has merely been the No. 4 receiver in New Orleans, even though the Saints gave up a fourth-round pick to acquire him from Denver in August. He now figures to get more playing time alongside Chris Olave and Brandin Cooks, instead of coming off the bench to spell them from time to time. The Saints also have WR Mason Tipton, who took just two snaps in Sunday's loss at the Rams. Vele played 12 snaps (29 percent) and also finished without a catch or target, leaving him with just five catches for 36 yards (10 targets) across 152 snaps this season.
