The Rams' lead back scored a touchdown, which ended up aiding him to a so-so outing in a disastrous day for L.A. in the desert. Williams carried 12 times for 25 yards and a touchdown and caught four passes for 27 yards on five targets out of the backfield. The involvement in the passing game is a good sign moving forward. The 2.1 yards per carry is not a good look for Williams. Backup running back Blake Corum (eight carries for 28 yards), while also inefficient, was more involved this week. The Rams' offense has been bit heavily by the injury bug, with top receivers Puka Nacua (knee) and Cooper Kupp (ankle) banged up. Williams will likely be the focal point of the depleted offense now with the team potentially down its top two receivers moving forward.

Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams found the end zone in Week 1 at the Lions against Detroit's very stout run defense. The touchdown salvaged an otherwise subpar night for the talented running back. Williams rushed 18 times for 50 yards (2.8 yards per carry) and caught three passes for four yards. The Notre Dame product is a very versatile back and the good thing for his fantasy managers is he saw a massive snap share in the backfield compared to Ronnie Rivers and rookie Blake Corum. The Cardinals were gashed on the ground by the Bills in Week 1, making Williams a strong play in Week 2 in the Rams' game at Arizona. Look for Williams to find pay dirt and remain involved in the passing game as well. His upside is extremely high in this matchup and his volume makes his floor pretty high as well.

Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams dominated the workload out of the Rams' backfield against the Lions on Sunday night and found the end zone. Overall, Williams recorded 18 carries for 50 yards and a rushing score and caught all three of his targets for four yards. The most important note, however, was that Williams saw 67 snaps in the backfield compared to just seven for Ronnie Rivers and none from Blake Corum. That works out to 91 percent of snaps for the Notre Dame product, who was expected to see some of his workload cut into by Corum, the rookie out of Michigan. Against a tough Lions run defense, Williams struggled to 2.78 yards per carry, but the outlook is rosy for the talented and versatile running back because of the extremely large snap-share. While it is natural to think Corum will become more involved as the weeks go on, if Williams dominates touches like this he should be in line for some huge fantasy weeks.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith will take on the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night in Week 2. The 25-year-old had a solid performance in the regular season opener, nabbing seven of his eight targets and racking up 84 receiving yards. He was outdone by teammate A.J. Brown (hamstring) but may be forced into the No. 1 role with Brown being marked as a limited participant in Friday's practice. Fantasy managers should have confidence starting Smith regardless of Brown's status on Monday, but his upside could creep into WR1 territory if the star receiver is forced to sit this week out.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith looked good in Friday's win over the Green Bay Packers. Although A.J. Brown was more productive, amassing five grabs for 119 yards and a touchdown, Smith still finished the night by pulling in seven catches for 84 yards. Fantasy managers would have loved to see the wideout find the end zone. However, it was an acceptable showing, especially with the sloppy field conditions in Brazil. Nonetheless, the Eagles will head home for a few days off before meeting the Atlanta Falcons for Monday Night Football in Week 2. Managers should keep Smith starting in all fantasy setups.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith will head to Brazil in Week 1 to face off against the Green Bay Packers on Friday night. The 25-year-old signed a three-year, $75 million extension this past offseason and had rave reviews coming out of training camp. While he did not touch the field in the preseason, none of the Eagles starters did either, and Smith is entering his prime. The addition of Jahan Dotson in a trade from the division rival Commanders may add another mouth to feed but makes Smith that much tougher to cover with the like of A.J. Brown on the other side of the field and running back Saquon Barkley needing to be accounted for. The Eagles No. 2 receiver should be considered a high-end WR2 most weeks including the regular season opener against the Packers.

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore had a relatively quiet night by his usual standards despite making some impressive plays. He led the team with six catches for 53 yards but could not find the end zone. Through two games this season, Moore remains the favorite target of rookie quarterback Caleb Williams. Although the lack of touchdowns is a concern, Moore's high volume of targets has helped mitigate the absence of scoring. The Bears' offensive line is also a concern, as Williams was sacked seven times in this game. Williams has yet to throw a touchdown pass and has not surpassed 200 yards in either of his first two games. Despite these struggles, Moore's consistent target share and talent keep him a low-end WR2 for fantasy managers. As Williams continues to develop and the Bears' offense improves, Moore's production should rise. The Bears will look to make adjustments and find the end zone as they head to Indianapolis in Week 3.

This week, Koo plays on Monday Night football outdoors against the Philadelphia Eagles, who could be out in front in this one often, potentially taking Koo out of the game script early, just like the Niners took Greg Zuerlein out of last week's Monday night matchup. Many kickers have a much more positive outlook this week. Atlanta Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo converted his lone field goal attempt on Sunday from 24 yards out and tacked on one extra point in an 18-10 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Koo is among the most intriguing kicking options this season, with the newly revamped offense for the Falcons and the fact that he plays half of his game indoors. Unfortunately for Koo, the offense wasn't quite in good shape in this game, as they barely got into field goal range. Once this offense starts clicking on all cylinders, expect more opportunities for Koo moving forward. He should still be a solid start in a matchup that should provide plenty of offense for both sides when the Falcons face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football in Week 2.

The No. 1 overall pick was impressive early, completing all five passes for 55 yards on the Bears' opening drive, including two notable third-down completions to DeAndre Carter and DJ Moore. Williams finished the first half with 12 completions on 15 attempts for 91 yards, but frequent mistakes by the Bears undermined his performance. Washington Commanders rookie wide receiver Luke McCaffrey led all Commander wideouts in receiving yards in the season opener and will look to continue to stake his claim on the open No. 2 spot against the Giants. The Rice product logged the second-most snaps at the position, only behind Terry McLaurin, and caught all three of his targets for 18 yards in Week 1. While 18 yards is not an impressive feat and will rarely be the most out of the wide receiving corps, seeing the 23-year-old look comfortable in an every-down role in his regular-season debut was promising. McCaffrey is worth taking a flier on as a stash option in deeper leagues but should not be relied on in any starting lineups this weekend.

It was another quiet outing for Cooper, who struggled with drops for the second consecutive contest. Cooper tied for the team lead in targets but was vastly outproduced by Jerry Jeudy, who went for 73 yards on five catches. Overall, the veteran wideout has just five catches for 27 yards through the first two games of the season. With Cooper struggling and with Deshaun Watson taking a liking to Jeudy in the passing game, fantasy managers should downgrade him to a WR4 heading into a Week 3 matchup against the New York Giants.

Cooper could bounce back as early as next week against a Jacksonville Jaguars secondary that just allowed both Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle to post 100-yard games in Week 1.
