FFPC Pros vs Joes Challenge

Come strong or don't come at all.

Talk is cheap. Let your team do the talking for you. This is the one place where fantasy industry Pros can strut their stuff against the diehard FFPC players, the Joes. The stakes? Honor, bragging rights, fantasy immortality.....and free entries into next year's FFPC Main Event.

The Pros vs Joes Concept

In 2009, FFPC teamed up with our friend Darren Armani of FantasyMojo.com to create a new expert contest. Since then, what has become known as the FFPC Pros vs Joes Challenge has blossomed into into a full blown feature competition.

The FFPC Pros vs Joes Draft Challenge concept is simple. Take a group of hard core FFPC fantasy players (the Joes) and pit them against a contingent of fantasy industry experts (the Pros). The overall field is divided into separate divisions (leagues). Each division of 12 conducts their own draft. The format is FFPC Best Ball Slim, 18-round live drafts (optimized scoring, no lineup submission) that take place in late July. The highest scoring team after 16 weeks in each division wins that league. The one team which outscores all other across all divisions over 16 weeks is crowned the FFPC Pros vs Joes Champion.

2020 FFPC Pros vs Joes Challenge

FFPC Pros vs. Joes has become a true showcase event and that will continue again this year. The FFPC will give away seven (7) entries into the 2021 FFPC Main Event to each Pros vs Joes division winner, each valued at $1,900 per team for a total value of over $13,000 !!

The 2020 challenge will be limited to seven (7) leagues, a total of 42 Joes and 42 Pros. Since availabilities are limited, some Pros and Joes who are interested in competing will be left out, so we apologize in advance to those who do.

The Pros vs Joes Selection Process

The 42 Pros will be selected by the FFPC and FantasyMojo.com and invited into this competition. If you are a Pro who is interested in joining, please email your request with your credentials to alex@myffpc.com.

Since there are just 42 Joes spots available, we had to come up with a way to fairly reward our customers and select participants. The 42 Joes were selected via a random drawing.

To register for the Joes random drawing, there is only one qualification required: the Joe must be registered for the 2020 FFPC Main Event by the Early-bird deadline on Thursday, July 6, 2020.
