Once healthy, Shaheed is expected to fill the No. 2 wide receiver role behind Chris Olave on this offense. That should lead to increased targets and usage for Shaheed for this upcoming season. Fantasy managers will have to check back on his status in a few days.

Wilson is still likely in the lead for the starting job in Week 1, but if Fields can make routine and splash plays consistently, ESPN's Brooke Pryor thinks he might make this more of a competition that it initially appeared to be. Wilson is the safe option for Pittsburgh because of his experience and leadership qualities, but the aging signal-caller didn't look very good the last two years in Denver and has a low fantasy ceiling at this point. While Fields has been much too inconsistent early in his career, he undoubtedly has more big-play ability than Wilson, especially with his legs.

"He wants to be good, he wants to learn, and the receiving group loves him." These quotes are a great sign for McMillan's potential role as a rookie, but he could still have trouble becoming a fantasy-relevant option in 2024 while competing with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin for targets. Still, he's an intriguing best-ball option and late-round flier in deeper fantasy football setups.
