New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers was a bright spot in Sunday's 21-18 loss to the Washington Commanders, hauling in 10 catches for 127 yards and a touchdown on a massive 18 targets. Nabers showcased his big-play ability, averaging 12.7 yards per catch and notching a cath-and-run 28-yard reception. Nabers did have a crucial drop at the end of the game, but that rookie errors can be expected as he adjusts to the NFL. Despite the Giants' struggles, fantasy managers can take solace in his hefty target share and reliable production, proving he's more than just a deep threat. With his combination of volume and playmaking ability, Nabers is a legit WR1 with huge upside.

The rookie wideout took a shot to the head, resulting in a trip to the blue medical tent for an evaluation. Fortunately, fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief. He popped up on the injury report earlier in the week due to a knee injury. However, he was cleared to suit up after practicing in full on Friday. Without question, the Giants can't afford an injury, considering kicker Graham Gano (groin) left the contest with a groin injury.

New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers (knee) was a full participant in Friday's practice and doesn't carry an injury designation into the Week 2 divisional matchup against the Washington Commanders on Sunday. Nabers popped up on the team's injury report this week after he was limited in Thursday's practice, but fantasy managers should have no worries now that he's in danger of playing this weekend. The 21-year-old is in a bad offense run by quarterback Daniel Jones, but did draw seven targets in his NFL debut, catching five of them for 66 yards in the Week 1 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Expect the LSU product to continue to have a big target share in an offense that will likely be playing catch-up more weeks than not. Against a shaky Washington secondary, Nabers should be in all starting fantasy lineups as a high-end WR2.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews received the second-most targets in the team's three-point loss at home to the Las Vegas Raiders. While he received more work this time compared to Isaiah Likely, he was unable to turn it into that much. He finished with four receptions for 51 yards on five targets but couldn't find the end zone. The fact that Andrews was more involved in this game was encouraging, but the passing game has been lackluster so far outside of one pass-catcher per game. He'll need to be a big part of the offense if the Ravens want to find their first win on the road against a capable Dallas Cowboys defense in Week 3.

He'll continue to run plenty of routes and should see a return to the mean target-wise. Fantasy managers can look to Andrews as a low-end TE1 in Week 2.

A silver lining for fantasy managers is that Andrews still played more snaps and ran more routes than Likely in this game, so his opportunities will likely remain high as the season progresses. According to PFF, he played 59 snaps and ran 38 routes compared to Likely's 53 snaps and 35 routes. Andrews might not be the target sponge he once was, but that remains to be seen while the Ravens take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2 looking for a bounce-back win.

The ultimate decider between Likely and Andrews comes down to the game script, but Likely should be a high-end TE2 even if he doesn't garner 30% of the target share as he did in Week 1.

After a video review, it showed that his toe was on the end line and it was unfortunately waved off. As far as the first game goes, Likely seemed to be the TE1 on the team while Mark Andrews only saw two targets.

He did not throw a touchdown during Sunday's loss. Goff has now had two average games to start the 2024 season. The 29-year-old is considered a low-end QB2 if he doesn't pick it up soon. After struggling against the Los Angeles Rams and an average Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense, the former No. 1 overall pick will look to bounce back against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3.

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff had a mediocre start to the 2024 season. Goff passed for 217 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Goff faced off against one of the easiest passing defenses in the league in Week 1, now he has to go against a better defense in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Goff has done well against them in the past, throwing for 353 yards and two touchdowns last season in Week 6. Tampa Bay will also be without star defensive back Antoine Winfield Jr. With week one behind them, the Detroit Lions should only be getting better, making Goff a high mid-level fantasy QB going into Week 2.

Goff should still be considered a mid-level fantasy quarterback, making him a mid-range QB2 heading into Week 2 against the Bucs.

New England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas did not command a target during the team's 23-20 overtime loss against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2. It has been an underwhelming start to the season for the second-year receiver, who now has just two catches through two games. Many fantasy managers spent a late-round pick on Douglas thinking that he could be a reliable option in the short passing game, but so far, he has been the opposite of reliable. He can be dropped in most redraft leagues as the Patriots employ a run-heavy approach and Brissett throws to the receivers not named Douglas.

He should be treated as a solid WR3/flex option moving forward.

As a result, Henry is more of a security blanket or reliable veteran option rather than a star target. He can be viewed as a mid-to-high TE2 heading into Thursday Night Football against the New York Jets.
