Antoine Winfield: Struggles in loss
Tuesday, December 23, 2025 10:07 PM
Winfield registered two tackles during Tampa Bay's loss to the Panthers on Sunday.
Winfield had one of his worst outings of the campaign Sunday, as he failed to record a solo tackle for the first time. The 2020 second-round pick will look to have a bounce-back performance and return to his usual level of production during the Week 17 matchup against the Dolphins.

Bo Melton: Deemed DNP for walkthrough Tuesday
Tuesday, December 23, 2025 8:00 PM
Melton is dealing with an illness and was estimated as a non-participant in Tuesday's practice walkthrough, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Melton played in Saturday's overtime loss to Chicago and logged one snap on offense along with nine snaps on special teams. There was no word prior to the contest that he was dealing with an illness, so his reduced offensive workload may simply have been a coaching decision in a game with high stakes. Green Bay plays on Saturday again this week (versus Baltimore), and Melton will likely need to practice in some capacity by Thursday to have a chance of avoiding an injury designation for that game.

Thomas Gordon: Returning to Windy City
Tuesday, December 23, 2025 7:52 PM
The Bears signed Gordon to the practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Gordon joined the Bears in early August as an undrafted free agent but was unable to crack the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He'll return to Chicago as a member of the team's practice squad and provide additional depth at tight end.

Tom Kennedy: Estimated as limited Tuesday
Tuesday, December 23, 2025 7:43 PM
Kennedy (abdomen) was listed as a limited practice participant on Tuesday's estimated injury report.
Kennedy has been limited in each of the Lions' two walkthrough practices while working through an abdominal injury. He has one more opportunity to increase his practice participation and avoid an injury designation ahead of Thursday's game against the Vikings.

DK Metcalf: Suspension upheld
Tuesday, December 23, 2025 7:42 PM
Metcalf had his two-game suspension upheld by the league Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Metcalf was handed a two-game suspension for "conduct detrimental to the NFL" after an altercation with a fan in Detroit on Sunday, and his appeal was denied. The wide receiver will now be forced to miss the team's final two games of the regular season, and as a result, $45 million in guaranteed money on his four-year contract has now been voided. In his absence, Calvin Austin (hamstring), Adam Thielen and Marquez Valdes-Scantling will all be candidates to see increased workloads in Week 17 against the Browns.

Coleman Owen: Placed back on practice squad
Tuesday, December 23, 2025 7:39 PM
Owen reverted to Indianapolis' practice squad Tuesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Owen was elevated ahead of Monday's Week 16 loss to San Francisco and played one offensive snap, getting one target that he didn't catch. He also played nine special-teams snaps, logging three kick returns for 89 yards. It was the second straight week Owen was elevated, which coincides with Anthony Gould missing the past two weeks due to a foot injury. It's likely that Owen's chance of being elevated again for Sunday's Week 17 game against the Jaguars hinges on whether Gould is able to return.

Romeo Doubs: Wrist issue not concerning
Tuesday, December 23, 2025 7:39 PM
Doubs (wrist) didn't appear Tuesday on the Packers' initial Week 17 practice report.
Doubs was deemed questionable to return to this past Saturday's 22-16 overtime loss to the Bears after he appeared to sustain the wrist injury when he was unable to cleanly field an onside kick late in the fourth quarter that Chicago recovered. Though his night ended on a dour note, Doubs produced well for those that included him in fantasy lineups Week 16, logging five catches for 84 yards and a touchdown on six targets. His touchdown grab came on a 33-yard deep shot late in the third quarter from backup quarterback Malik Willis, who replaced a concussed Jordan Love. Both Love and Willis (shoulder) were listed as limited participant in Tuesday's walk-through session, so it's not yet clear whom Doubs will be on the receiving end of passes from this Saturday against the Ravens.

Keaton Mitchell: Tending to calf injury
Tuesday, December 23, 2025 7:34 PM
Mitchell was a limited participant in Tuesday's walk-through practice due to a calf injury, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
The Ravens didn't indicate that Mitchell sustained any sort of injury in this past Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Patriots, so the running back's limited session Tuesday could be indicative of an in-practice setback. Regardless, the Ravens will give Mitchell a chance to potentially maintain or increase his practice activity on two more occasions before deciding whether he takes a designation into Sunday's game at Green Bay. If Mitchell isn't available this weekend, Rasheen Ali would have the change-of-pace role all to himself behind Baltimore lead back Derrick Henry.

Lamar Jackson: Absent from first Week 17 practice
Tuesday, December 23, 2025 7:32 PM
Jackson (back) didn't participate in Tuesday's walk-through practice, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
Throughout the season, Jackson has often received rest days during the Ravens' first practice of a given week, but his absence Tuesday is the result of a legitimate injury. After sustaining a bruised back in the second quarter of this past Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Patriots, Jackson was unable to return to the contest, leaving Tyler Huntley to direct the offense for the rest of the night. The Ravens are viewing Jackson as day-to-day with the hope that he'll be ready to go for this Saturday's game at Green Bay, but he may need to fit in some on-field work Wednesday or Thursday in order to get the green light to play. Per Shaffer, offensive coordinator Todd Monken wouldn't tip his hand regarding who would start under center for Week 17, instead saying that the Ravens have confidence in both Jackson or Huntley.

Derius Davis: Deemed DNP on Tuesday
Tuesday, December 23, 2025 7:29 PM
Davis (ankle) was listed as a non-participant for Tuesday's practice.
Davis has missed the Chargers' past two games while dealing with an ankle injury. His DNP listing to begin this week isn't a promising sign for his return to action, though he'll have two more opportunities to practice in some capacity this week ahead of Saturday's matchup versus the Texans. Davis has had a minor role on offense when healthy, but he's also worked as the team's lead kick and punt returner, and those duties have fallen to KeAndre Lambert-Smith and Ladd McConkey, respectively, while Davis has been out.
