Price rushed 10 times for 52 yards and brought in both targets for six yards in the Seahawks' 13-10 win over the Patriots on Wednesday.

The rookie running back touched the ball on Seattle's first play from scrimmage and immediately made an impact, ripping off a decisive 13-yard run. While that would serve as Price's longest gain of the night, the first-round pick continued to run hard throughout the night while flashing a hard-charging style. Price's rushing opportunities were somewhat capped as George Holani also logged eight carries, but the former could be trusted with a bigger role in a Week 2 road matchup against the Cardinals on Sunday, Sept. 20.

Price didn't play in the preseason, but he's still expected to have a large workload once the regular season kicks off, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

The Seahawks used the 32nd overall pick in the 2026 Draft on Price, seemingly with the intention for him to be in the mix for the No. 1 RB role during Zach Charbonnet's recovery from a January ACL tear. Price handled first-team reps during the offseason program and also at the start of training camp, but he then tended to lower-body soreness, which sidelined him for a week and spurred the team to keep him in street clothes during exhibition season. With a Week 1 matchup with the Patriots just around the corner Wednesday, Price seems primed for lead-runner status, while George Holani will serve as a receiver and in pass-blocking situations. Meanwhile, Emanuel Wilson has been contained to work on the side at recent practices due to a hamstring injury, so it's unclear if he'll be able to contribute in the season opener.

Odunze (calf) was listed as a limited participant for Thursday's practice.

Odunze was limited for a second day in a row on Thursday as his status remains unclear going into Week 1. Friday's injury report should provide some clarity, but even then, the Bears may not make a final call on Odunze until Sunday. An absence from Odunze on Sunday would open playing time for Kalif Raymond or Zavion Thomas.

His status for Sunday's season opener against Carolina still appears unsettled. Head coach Ben Johnson said that Odunze (leg) won't practice Tuesday, but the wide receiver is considered "more day-to-day," and the Bears remain optimistic he'll play in Sunday's season opener versus the Panthers, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Johnson didn't provide many specifics regarding the right leg injury that Odunze sustained in a practice last Thursday, though the coach noted that the issue isn't an aggravation of the foot injury that kept the wideout sidelined for the final five games of the 2025 regular season, per Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com. Odunze will still have three more chances to fit in some practice activity before the Bears decide on his status for Sunday's contest, but at this stage, the third-year receiver seems likely to play.

Mayfield and the Buccaneers agreed Tuesday on a three-year, $165 million contract extension, Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport of ESPN report.

Mayfield logged just one appearance during the Buccaneers' three-game preseason schedule.

Hubbard (hamstring) was not listed on the Panthers' injury report Wednesday.
