Dameon Pierce: Joining Eagles backfield
Thursday, March 19, 2026 12:14 PM Free Agent

The Eagles have signed Pierce to a one-year deal.

Pierce, who logged a combined 14 carries for 36 yards in five regular-season contests (four with the Texans and one with the Chiefs) in 2025, has seen his workload decrease in each of his last three seasons following his rookie campaign with Houston in 2022, during which recorded 220 carries in 13 games. With the Eagles, he'll compete with Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley for complementary backfield touches behind top back Saquon Barkley.

Stone Smartt: Headed to Philadelphia
Thursday, March 19, 2026 12:01 PM Free Agent

Smartt is slated to sign a one-year deal with the Eagles, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Smartt, who spent the first three years of his NFL career with the Chargers, recorded seven catches (on nine targets) for 52 yards in 15 games during his lone campaign with the Jets in 2025. This coming season, the 6-foot-4, 226-pounder will provide added depth to a Philadelphia TE corps that continues to be led by Dallas Goedert, with Grant Calcaterra and Johnny Mundt currently next up in the pecking order.

Jake Elliott: Reworks deal with Philadelphia
Thursday, March 19, 2026 10:19 AM Elite Brawlers

Elliott agreed Thursday to rework his contract with the Eagles, accepting a $1 million pay cut while receiving $5 million guaranteed for 2026, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

The Eagles will save $243,000 in cap space with the maneuver, while the guaranteed money virtually assures that Elliott will remain the team's kicker in 2026 following a rough 2025 campaign. After converting 20 of 27 field-goal attempts for a career-worst 74.1 percent rate during the Eagles' 17 regular-season games, Elliott then had a costly missed extra point in Philadelphia's narrow loss to San Francisco in the wild-card round. The 31-year-old still remains under contract through 2028, but the Eagles would likely have more flexibility to move on from him next offseason if he's unable to bounce back in 2026.

Carson Wentz: Headed back to Minnesota
Thursday, March 19, 2026 9:41 AM Free Agent

Wentz (shoulder) signed a contract with Minnesota on Thursday, Rob Kleifield of the Vikings' official site reports.

Wentz will return to Minnesota for a second season, adding depth to a quarterback room that already includes the recently-signed Kyler Murray as well as holdovers J.J. McCarthy (hand) and Max Brosmer. Murray and McCarthy will likely be competing for the starting job throughout training camp and the preseason, but if the Vikings were to trade McCarthy prior to Week 1, Wentz could open the 2026 campaign in the No. 2 spot on the depth chart. Before undergoing season-ending surgery on his left shoulder in late October, Wentz made five starts in place of an injured McCarthy during the 2025 season, completing 110 of 169 pass attempts (65.1 percent) for 1,216 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions while adding 57 yards on 11 carries. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network relays that Wentz has since recovered from surgery, so the 33-year-old should be a full participant for the Vikings' offseason program.

Tylan Wallace: Signs with Cleveland
Wednesday, March 18, 2026 9:29 PM Free Agent

The Browns signed Wallace to a contract Wednesday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN reports.

Wallace is headed to Cleveland after catching just 22 passes for 305 yards and two touchdowns across his five seasons in Baltimore. While the 26-year-old saw limited action on offense with the Ravens, he was a regular contributor on special teams and even managed to return a punt for touchdown during the 2023 campaign.

Courtland Sutton: Joined in WR corps by Waddle
Wednesday, March 18, 2026 5:47 PM C3

The Broncos have officially announced their trade with the Dolphins for Jaylen Waddle, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports, a move that bolsters the team's wideout corps, which Sutton led last season.

In 17 regular-season games in 2025, Sutton parlayed his team-leading 124 targets into a 74-1,017-7 receiving line, with Troy Franklin next in line in terms of targets with 104. The addition of Waddle -- a 2021 first-rounder -- gives Denver a dynamic playmaker to pair with Sutton, providing the team with a strong 1-2 punch at wideout, supplemented by Franklin, Pat Bryant and Marvin Mims, with Lil'Jordan Humphrey along with Michael Bandy rounding out the current WR depth chart. As the 2026 campaign approaches, Sutton isn't necessarily the Broncos' clear-cut top option at the position, a standing that Waddle has the upside to claim should he mesh well with franchise QB Bo Nix.

Greg Dortch: Links up with Lions
Wednesday, March 18, 2026 5:29 PM Free Agent

Dortch and the Lions have agreed to terms on a one-year contract, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Dortch served as a regular pass catcher in the Cardinals offense the last four seasons, averaging 35.5 catches (on 47 targets) for 323.8 yards and 2.5 touchdowns in 15.3 games per campaign during that span. While he'll handle a similar tertiary role in Detroit as he reunites with his offensive coordinator (Drew Petzing) from the past three years, he may make his biggest impact as a returner after reeling off 811 yards on 31 kick returns and 185 yards on 16 punt returns in 12 regular-season contests in 2025.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine: Gets chance in Indianapolis
Wednesday, March 18, 2026 5:14 PM Free Agent

The Colts signed Westbrook-Ikhine to a contract Wednesday.

Westbrook-Ikhine struggled to solidify himself as a consistent option for the Dolphins last year, when he totaled just 11 catches for 89 yards without a score (20 targets) across 15 regular-season appearances. Now heading into his age-29 season, Westbrook-Ikhine looks positioned to compete with Ashton Dulin, Anthony Gould (foot) and Laquon Treadwell for rotational snaps behind top wideouts Alec Pierce and Josh Downs. Westbrook-Ikhine impressed with a 32-497-9 line back in 2024 with the Titans.

T.Y. Hilton: Officially hangs up cleats
Wednesday, March 18, 2026 4:29 PM Free Agent

Hilton announced his retirement from the NFL via his personal social media accounts Wednesday.

Hilton, a 2012 third-round selection by the Colts in 2012, piled up five total seasons with 1,000-plus receiving yards across his 11-year career in the NFL. He led the league in receiving in 2016, when he compiled a career-best 91-1,448-6 line on 156 targets, and Hilton also retires as a four-time Pro Bowler. Aside from having linked up with the Cowboys late in the 2022 campaign as a depth option, Hilton spent his entire NFL career in Indianapolis.

Boston Scott: Announces retirement
Wednesday, March 18, 2026 4:20 PM Free Agent

Scott announced his retirement from the NFL via his personal social media accounts Wednesday.

Scott last suited up for NFL action in 2023, when he appeared in 15 regular-season games with the Eagles. A 2018 sixth-round pick, Scott played six seasons with the Eagles and also spent time on the practice squads of the Saints, Rams and Steelers.
