His efforts put the Cardinals so far ahead of the Rams that he was removed with eight minutes left in the fourth quarter, logging the first perfect passer rating by a Cardinals quarterback since Kurt Warner in 2008. In Week 3, Murray will again be in the mix for a top-10 finish when the Cardinals host the Detroit Lions.

Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard rushed 17 times for 62 yards, also securing five passes on six targets for 40 yards in a 24-17 loss to New York. For the second straight week, Pollard was the clear lead back for this Titans offense, out-touching Tyjae Spears 22-8 in Week 2. Although Spears left the game late with an ankle injury, Pollard was still dominating the time on the field up to that point and was more effective when given the ball. He was also tied for the team lead in targets with six, proving he still has a role carved out for him in the passing game even with Spears' ability in that department. With how much this coaching staff seems to trust Pollard, he should be locked into lineups moving forward as a mid-tier RB2 with a tinge of upside. Up next is the Packers vulnerable run defense in a Week 3 home matchup.

Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard will face the New York Jets this Sunday for the team's home opener. The former Cowboys was a lone bright spot for the Titans offense against Chicago last week, producing 94 yards from scrimmage and touchdown. He was heavily featured on the ground with sixteen total carries compared to his backfield mate Tyjae Spears' 4, but Titans head coach Brian Callahan did say he would like the split to be "more even" after the game. Even if Spears does see a bit more work, the team clearly views Pollard as the superior runner and the guy who will receive most of the 'between the tackles' rushing. The utilization for these two backs is likely going to come down to game script on a week-to-week basis, but the coaching staff definitely trusts Pollard and so should fantasy managers with their RB2/flex spot headed into a matchup with the Jets and their soft-ish run defense.

Pollard started the game as the Titans top back and out-carried Tyjae Spears by a surprisingly large margin, 16-4, right after the Titans coaching staff made a point that the backfield would be split evenly. The actual snap counts were a bit closer with Pollard taking 65% and Spears with 45%, but Pollard getting twice as many touches as Spears was definitely unexpected. Game script could have been part of the story here, with Tennessee attempting to grind the clock with a 17-0 lead going into the second half and utilizing the more punishing runner in Pollard to do so. The former Cowboy looked every bit of the dynamic player he was in Dallas a couple of years ago, highlighted by his 26-yard TD scamper where outraced the second level of the defense and cruised into the end zone untouched. Up next is a tough matchup with the New York Jets coming to town. .

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson was the leading receiver in the team's 41-10 loss to Arizona on Sunday afternoon. Robinson caught two of his four targets for 50 yards with 42 of those yards coming on one big completion. The veteran receiver flashed a big play but did little else in a day to forget in the desert. Cooper Kupp (ankle) exited the game early and the team is already without Puka Nacua (knee) who is on the IR. The opportunity is there now for a receiver to step up in a big way but who that receiver will be has yet to reveal itself. Robinson, Tutu Atwell, Tyler Johnson, and Jordan Whittington are all in the mix for more targets but the foursome might just eat into each other's potential production. Until one or two from the group separate from the pack, it will be a tough fantasy situation to sort out.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson could be in line for more usage in Week 2 at Arizona after Puka Nacua (knee) has landed on the IR. Robinson has good size and is a good possession receiver. Matthew Stafford could look to the big target in the red zone against the Cardinals if Arizona shifts its focus to Cooper Kupp in those situations. Tyler Johnson will be Robinson's main threat for targets at the wide receiver position opposite Kupp with Nacua out. Robinson may lack the ability to break a big play like Johnson did against the Lions in Week 1 on his long catch and run in the second half. Robinson, however, may be the better bet to score a touchdown. It remains to be seen how the dynamic will play out between the two popular waiver-wire additions but both make for decent speculative plays in deep leagues.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson will open the season as the third wideout in this offense. He's set to start behind Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua during the season opener against the Detroit Lions. The 29-year-old beat out Tutu Atwell for the third wideout spot in camp, but he probably won't have a significant role. Both Kupp and Nacua figure to see the bulk of the targets. Last season, Robinson finished with 26 receptions for 371 yards and four touchdowns. There is still some big-play potential here, which makes Robinson a possible WR4 in deeper leagues.

Atlanta Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo managed only one extra point and one field goal attempt in the team's Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. This week, Koo plays on Monday Night football outdoors against the Philadelphia Eagles, who could be out in front in this one often, potentially taking Koo out of the game script early, just like the Niners took Greg Zuerlein out of last week's Monday night matchup. Many kickers have a much more positive outlook this week. It's best to leave Koo on the waiver wire for another week, as he is currently 16th among all kickers in the latest RotoBaller rankings for Week 2.

Atlanta Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo converted his lone field goal attempt on Sunday from 24 yards out and tacked on one extra point in an 18-10 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Koo is among the most intriguing kicking options this season, with the newly revamped offense for the Falcons and the fact that he plays half of his game indoors. Unfortunately for Koo, the offense wasn't quite in good shape in this game, as they barely got into field goal range. Once this offense starts clicking on all cylinders, expect more opportunities for Koo moving forward. He should still be a solid start in a matchup that should provide plenty of offense for both sides when the Falcons face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football in Week 2.

Arizona Cardinals running back Trey Benson had as quiet of a debut as they come in the team's season opener last week against the Bills. The third-round pick out of Florida State saw just three rushing attempts to James Conner's 16. Benson gained 13 yards on the ground and caught one pass for another five yards. The rookie didn't take the field until the Cardinals' third drive and was outsnapped by fellow backup Emari Demercado, 14 to eight. Offensive coordinator Drew Petzing referred to Conner as the team's "bell cow" in comments to the media ahead of Week 1 and there's little reason to believe they will move away from him in Week 2. Benson is still worth stashing in case the injury bug bites or the team starts utilizing their backs differently, but he should be on fantasy benches on Sunday against the Rams.

While Benson's performance during training camp and the preseason solidified his role as Conner's direct backup, not much should be expected of the rookie out of the gate. Given Conner's injury history, Benson is certainly a worthwhile bench stash but the bench is exactly where he should be on fantasy rosters in Week 1.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Roman Wilson (ankle) is inactive for Week 2 against the Denver Broncos. Wilson had been listed as questionable after logging a limited practice on Friday. The rookie didn't up last week either, so he's still looking to make his NFL debut. With Wilson sidelined, Scotty Miller and Ben Skowronek should earn more opportunities behind George Pickens, Van Jefferson, and Calvin Austin III.

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver Roman Wilson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos. The Michigan product was able to participate in a full practice session on Thursday and looked on track to make his professional debut, but reverted back to a limited session on Friday, according to Nick Farabaugh of Penn Live. The 23-year-old was held out of the season opener due to an ankle injury he suffered during camp. If the former third-round pick from this year's draft suits up on Sunday, he should operate as the No.3/No.4 option in the Pittsburgh passing attack. If he happens to sit out again, Calvin Austin should have a clear hold on the No.3 spot on Sunday afternoon.

But in time, Wilson could easily become the team's No. 2 behind George Pickens in 2024, making him worth a bench stash in deeper leagues.

Washington Commanders rookie wide receiver Luke McCaffrey led all Commander wideouts in receiving yards in the season opener and will look to continue to stake his claim on the open No. 2 spot against the Giants. The Rice product logged the second-most snaps at the position, only behind Terry McLaurin, and caught all three of his targets for 18 yards in Week 1. While 18 yards is not an impressive feat and will rarely be the most out of the wide receiving corps, seeing the 23-year-old look comfortable in an every-down role in his regular-season debut was promising. McCaffrey is worth taking a flier on as a stash option in deeper leagues but should not be relied on in any starting lineups this weekend.

When asked about Washington Commanders wide receiver Luke McCaffrey on Wednesday, head coach Dan Quinn gave reporters a shining endorsement. Specifically, Quinn was asked about the wideout and how he has fit into the Commanders' WR corps. He said: "I think we're seeing it go like this [*plane taking off gesture*]. And so that's why more reps and more playing time to go. We've really seen kind of that confidence grow, especially inside in the slot where he can use some of that strength and work guys through." McCaffrey acquired just three targets in the team's 37-20 loss to the Buccaneers, catching all of them for 18 yards. However, rookie QB Jayden Daniels spread the ball around pretty evenly, with four Commanders racking up four targets -- including both running backs -- and another finishing tied with McCaffrey for three. The rookie third-round pick ran the most snaps (36) of all Washington receivers not named Terry McLaurin and took 29 of those from the slot. No other player received more than six.

McCaffrey should be on the waiver wire watchlist, but for now, he should not be in starting lineups.

The veteran was the target on nearly half of Jacoby Brissett's pass attempts, showcasing a strong rapport and sense of trust between the tight end and quarterback. Nevertheless, this outcome may have surprised some fantasy managers who expected a quieter game from Henry after he caught just two passes in the season opener. Henry's big Week 2 game gives him plenty of fantasy intrigue ahead of Week 3, but managers should still temper expectations knowing that the Patriots want to employ a run-first approach this year. As a result, Henry is more of a security blanket or reliable veteran option rather than a star target. He can be viewed as a mid-to-high TE2 heading into Thursday Night Football against the New York Jets.
