Tylan Wallace: Nabs first TD of 2025
Tuesday, September 16, 2025 9:47 AM
Wallace caught both of his targets for 25 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Browns.
The fifth-year wideout was not targeted in the opener despite playing roughly a third of the snaps. On Sunday, however, Wallace's snap share increased to 51 percent and he was rewarded with a pair of targets that he cashed in for 25 yards and a score. His touchdown was a 15-yarder where he got open in the front of the end zone and received a dime from Lamar Jackson. The snap share is an interesting detail thus far, as he ranks third among Raven receivers in playing time so far -- ahead of DeAndre Hopkins. It's unclear how long that will hold, especially with Devontez Walker also showing some promise. For now, though, Wallace seems to be a staple when Baltimore goes three-wide.

Justin Watson: Two more targets Week 2
Tuesday, September 16, 2025 9:36 AM
Watson caught one of two targets for three yards in Monday's 20-19 loss to Tampa Bay in Week 2.
Watson has been targeted four times through two games, the same as Jayden Higgins and more than Jaylin Noel, rookies drafted in the second and third rounds, respectively, during the offseason. It's hard to get a read on Houston's offense, which has stumbled through two games, and it appears C.J. Stroud is in a slump that dates back to Week 5 of 2024. That's the last time the quarterback threw for more than 300 yards. Watson's fringy relevance is diminished by Stroud's play and should end once Christian Kirk (hamstring) is able to play.

Jaylin Noel: Contributes as returner
Tuesday, September 16, 2025 9:15 AM
Noel was not targeted on offense and amassed 145 return yards on punts and kicks in Monday's 20-19 loss to the Buccaneers in Week 2.
Noel was given the fewest snaps (15) among Houston's wide receivers, but he impacted the game on special teams. He averaged 26.0 yards on three kickoff returns and 22.3 on punt returns, including a 53-yarder that set up the Texans' final score with just over two minutes left. Noel has done little offensively in his first two weeks in the NFL, but he could find a niche on special teams with Braxton Berrios (hamstring) unavailable.

Jayden Higgins: One grab in loss
Tuesday, September 16, 2025 9:06 AM
Higgins caught is lone target for 28 yards in Monday's 20-19 loss to Tampa Bay in Week 2.
Higgins' lone catch put the Texans in business deep in Buccaneers' territory, but the offense failed to capitalize. The rookie wideout has three receptions (four targets) for 60 yards, including two 20+ receptions. Higgins is part of a crew that includes Xavier Hutchinson, Jaylin Noel and Justin Watson that are receiving more playing time with Christian Kirk (hamstring) unavailable. One or more of that group will experience a drop in snap count once Kirk is ready.

Xavier Hutchinson: Two grabs in MNF loss
Tuesday, September 16, 2025 8:49 AM
Hutchinson caught two of three targets for 29 yards in Monday's 20-19 loss to the Buccaneers in Week 2.
Hutchinson's three targets were more than rookies Jayden Higgins (one) and Jaylin Noel (zero) combined. The third-year receiver is high volume in terms of playing time -- 63.4 percent of the snaps, second behind Nico Collins -- but hasn't had a significant contribution in terms of fantasy. That was also the case last season: substantial playing time (49.7 percent) with little production (12 catches). With Christian Kirk (hamstring) sidelined, there's a mix of players angling for targets after Collins. There's also an opportunity for Hutchinson and the rest of the wideouts in a Kirk-less offense, as defenses throw more attention at Collins, who caught just three of nine targets Monday. If Kirk can get on the field for Week 3, then Hutchinson should see reduced target activity and playing time.

Harrison Bryant: Targeted once in loss
Tuesday, September 16, 2025 8:38 AM
Bryant did not catch his lone target in Monday's 20-19 loss to Tampa Bay in Week 2.
Bryant was added to the 53-man roster following an injury to Cade Stover (foot). He was on the field for 37 percent of the offensive snaps, significantly lower than the 57 percent Stover had in Week 1.

British Brooks: On active roster Week 2
Tuesday, September 16, 2025 8:31 AM
Brooks was on the active roster but did not play on offense in Monday's 20-19 loss to the Buccaneers in Week 2.
Brooks was active for the first time in 2025, as the Texans somewhat surprisingly made Dameon Pierce inactive. Nick Chubb performed as the main back with Woody Marks and Dare Ogunbowale backing him up.
|
Dare Ogunbowale: Plays 10 snaps in loss
Tuesday, September 16, 2025 8:27 AM
Ogunbowale was on the field for 10 offensive snaps but did not have a carry nor was targeted in Monday's 20-19 loss to Tampa Bay in Week 2.
The Texans made Dameon Pierce inactive for the contest, but Ogunbowale did not benefit in any meaningful way. Instead, it was rookie Woody Marks (13 snaps) taking on a larger role. Ogunbowale remains an important special teams contributor for the Texans.

Michael Mayer: Nabs two receptions Monday
Tuesday, September 16, 2025 2:19 AM
Mayer has two receptions on as many targets for nine yards in Monday's 20-9 loss to the Chargers.
Mayer was likely swooped up by concerned Brock Bowers (knee) managers this weekend after the star tight end was in jeopardy of missing Monday's contest. The latter wound up suiting up and playing his regular allotment of snaps, limiting Mayer to his usual backup role and marginal production. With Bowers finishing Monday's contest without issue, Mayer will return to fantasy irrelevance in Week 3.

Jakobi Meyers: Team-high 12 targets Monday
Tuesday, September 16, 2025 2:11 AM
Meyers finished with six receptions on 12 targets for 68 yards in Monday's 20-9 loss to the Chargers.
Meyers paced Las Vegas in targets, receptions and receiving yards despite finishing with a poor catch rate (50 percent). The 28-year-old has garnered double-digit targets in both appearances with new QB Geno Smith this season, cementing the wideout's spot atop the Raiders' depth chart. Meyers' predictable volume makes him a reliable starting option heading into Sunday's tilt against the Commanders, offering a notable boost in value for those in PPR formats.
