Desmond Reid: Reverts to IR
Friday, June 12, 2026 5:12 PM Free Agent

Reid (undisclosed) reverted to the Bills' injured-reserve list Friday after being waived Thursday, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports.

The undrafted running back from the University of Pittsburgh will have to miss the entire 2026 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Bills. Reid played in seven games during his senior season at Pitt, recording 278 rushing yards and two touchdowns over 60 carries. He also recorded 23 receptions for 317 yards and two touchdowns.

Riley Leonard: Battling for No. 2 role
Friday, June 12, 2026 5:06 PM Free Agent

Leonard competed with Anthony Richardson for the No. 2 quarterback role during the Colts' recent minicamp and remains in contention to serve as the primary backup to Daniel Jones (Achilles), Joel A. Erickson of the IndyStar reports.

Jones remains unavailable for team drills, affording both Leonard and Richardson plenty of reps in their head-to-head competition. Head coach Shane Steichen said there is currently no clear winner, and both quarterbacks will resume their job battle in training camp as Jones works his way back from the Achilles injury that derailed the Colts' 2025 season.

Stefon Diggs: NFL closes personal conduct review
Friday, June 12, 2026 2:08 PM norafino49-2

The NFL has closed its review of Diggs after determining that there was insufficient evidence of a personal conduct policy violation stemming from an alleged dispute with his private chef this past December, ESPN.com reports.

Friday's decision arrives after Diggs was found not guilty last month of assaulting his private chef in a pay dispute, but at the time of the verdict NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy noted that the matter remained "under review of the personal conduct policy." Diggs, who was released by the Patriots in March, has yet to catch on elsewhere, but on the heels of a 2025 regular season in which he recorded an 85-1,013-4 line on 102 targets in 17 games, the 32-year-old is a candidate to garner interest in the coming weeks from teams still seeking to bolster their WR corps.

Xavier Worthy: Impresses coach during minicamp
Friday, June 12, 2026 12:51 PM Penzie's Posse

Coach Andy Reid noted Thursday that Worthy (shoulder) looked good at this week's minicamp, Jesse Newell of The Athletic reports.

While Worthy (who is in the final stages of his recovery from a shoulder procedure he underwent in January to repair his labrum) sported a no-contact jersey during the minicamp which concluded Thursday, his efforts nonetheless caught the eye of Reid. "Xavier really had a nice camp," Reid said of the 2024 first-rounder. "Stronger -- that's the part that you like. You really see it. We put him in a lot of the primary positions, and I thought he did a nice job with all of it." Next up for Worthy and the Chiefs will be training camp next month, at which point he may be able to shed his non-contact jersey. He's coming off a 2025 regular season in which he recorded a modest 42-532-1 line on 73 targets through 14 contests, but Worthy acknowledges that the shoulder injury he sustained on the first drive of the campaign hampered his effectiveness. Assuming no setbacks ahead of Week 1, Worthy could be poised for a bounce-back season in 2026 while working as a key option in Kansas City WR corps that is also in line to feature fellow returnee Rashee Rice (knee), with the likes of Tyquan Thornton, Jalen Royals and Cyrus Allen in the mix as well.

Brenton Strange: Lining up in multiple roles
Friday, June 12, 2026 12:35 PM CITATION1948

Strange said Thursday after the Jaguars' final mandatory minicamp practice that his second year in head coach Liam Coen's system feels "a lot less chaotic" despite being asked to line up in "a lot more positions," Garry Smits of the Jacksonville Florida Times-Union reports.

"It's just a lot of position changes for me," Strange said, "but I want that. It's a good responsibility to have." The 2023 second-round pick enters the final year of his rookie deal as Jacksonville's clear No. 1 tight end, despite the additions of rookies Nate Boerkircher and Tanner Koziol to a crowded room that also includes veterans Hunter Long and Quintin Morris. Jacksonville's offense figures to lean heavily on multi-TE formations in 2026, but Strange's versatility will help him remain productive even if targets are spread around at the position. He posted a career-best 46-540-3 receiving line in just 12 regular-season games last year and remains one of the league's better blocking tight ends. Though he's eligible for an extension, Strange said his "mind's not on that at all" Thursday when asked about contract talks.

Ashton Dulin: Competing for expanded role
Friday, June 12, 2026 10:32 AM Free Agent

Dulin has impressed at OTAs and mandatory minicamp and is making a push for the No. 3 wide receiver role behind Alec Pierce (ankle) and Josh Downs, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Dulin said his approach has been "attacking [the offseason] as if it's my first year, knowing that, that [No. 3] spot is open." After the Colts traded Michael Pittman to Pittsburgh, Stephen Holder of ESPN concurs Dulin has taken an early lead for the No. 3 role over Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Laquon Treadwell and rookie seventh-round pick Deion Burks and was a standout at minicamp. Offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter said Dulin has been moving around the offensive formation at practice and "can be really good for us this year on offense." The 29-year-old totaled a 5-106-0 line across 12 regular-season appearances in 2025 and has topped 200 receiving yards just once in his career.

Tank Dell: Shows good progress in minicamp
Friday, June 12, 2026 1:00 AM BigTDsInYoFace

Dell (knee) was limited during the Texans' minicamp that ended Thursday, but he has been "running and cutting without setbacks," Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Dell continues to rehab from the devastating knee injury that cost him all of the 2025 season. While he wasn't a full participant during Houston's just-completed minicamp, he did catch passes in team drills and worked off to side. The Texans' goal is to have Dell continue to ramp up over the summer so that he can increase his activity level during training camp. However, the team isn't providing a concrete timeline for when the wideout will be fully ready to participate in practices or play in games.

Desmond Reid: Waived by Buffalo
Thursday, June 11, 2026 8:28 PM Free Agent

Reid (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Bills on Thursday.

If the running back goes unclaimed by other teams, he will revert to Buffalo's injured-reserve list, at which point he'd have to reach an injury settlement with the team to have a chance to play in 2026. Reid signed with the Bills as an undrafted free agent in May. In seven games with Pitt in 2025, he recorded 60 carries for 278 yards and two touchdowns as well as 23 catches for 317 yards and two scores.

Gabriel Benyard: Let go by Buffalo
Thursday, June 11, 2026 8:23 PM Free Agent

Benyard was waived by the Bills on Thursday.

The wide receiver signed with the team as an undrafted free agent in May after five seasons at Kennesaw State. In 2025, Benyard finished with 60 catches for 949 yards and nine touchdowns. He'll now have to look elsewhere for an NFL home.

Max Tomczak: Back with Buffalo
Thursday, June 11, 2026 8:19 PM Free Agent

Tomczak signed with the Bills on Thursday.

The wide receiver initially signed with Buffalo as an undrafted free agent in April, but he was waived in May. Tomczak caught 225 passes for 3,024 yards and 15 touchdowns in four seasons at Youngstown State.
