The two-time MVP will take a team in desperation mode to face off against the Dallas Cowboys who are fresh off of a blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Cowboys are currently 11th in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks and one of the worst against the run thus far. Jackson had a down week against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2 and still finished as the QB9. Overall, he's sitting at QB6 and will look to guide the team to their first win of the season. Fantasy managers can continue to confidently deploy him in their lineups, as he remains in QB1 territory until further notice.

The ground game went through Derrick Henry in this game as Jackson did a lot less on the ground, and he wasn't able to fully make up those fantasy points through the air. While he connected with Zay Flowers throughout the game, Jackson hasn't been able to establish more than one big connection per game. He'll now have to go on the road and take on another good defensive unit in the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3.

Look for the passing attack to get in a better rhythm while Jackson's ground game continues to thrive against a weaker run defense. Fantasy managers can consider him a QB1 heading into Week 2.

Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry hasn't hit the ceiling that many expected yet, but he's remained consistent thus far and has found the end zone at least once in each game. He looked a lot better in Week 2 compared to Week 1 and received five more carries on top of it. In Week 3, the Ravens take on the Dallas Cowboys who just gave up 115 yards and three touchdowns to Alvin Kamara and a total of 190 yards on the ground with four scores. The biggest roadblock for Henry, at this point, has been the team's play-calling decisions. As long as the veteran is in the game and getting 18 or more carries, he should be able to finish in RB1 territory. As it currently stands, Henry is the RB18 in half-PPR formats, but he should see that number rise with more time in this offense.

Henry looked like his younger self on a few runs as he stiff-armed defenders and broke multiple tackles. This time around, Henry saw a lot more work in the backfield compared to Justice Hill as he saw 19 total touches compared to Hill's six. The Ravens offense has been able to put up some points so far, but they continue to lose leads and abandon the ground game after a while. Henry's touchdown kept him in the RB1 conversation this week, but his ceiling has been limited so far.

The veteran back didn't quite perform up to expectations despite scoring a touchdown in the beginning of the game against the Kansas City Chiefs. He only finished with 46 yards on 13 yards while Lamar Jackson called his own number 16 times and gained 122 yards in comparison. Now, Henry sets his sights on the Las Vegas Raiders who just gave up 135 yards and a score to J.K. Dobbins in Week 1. A lot of Dobbins' yards were untouched at that. Henry will likely be fed early and often again, and he'll make the Raiders defense pay a lot like Dobbins. Henry remains in RB1 territory heading into this matchup.

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson caught five of his nine targets for 33 yards and a touchdown in a 24-3 win over the New England Patriots in Week 3. Wilson hauled in his first touchdown pass of the season on a two-yard catch in the third quarter, giving the Jets a 20-3 lead. The veteran wideout also led the Jets in targets and tied for the team lead in catches on Thursday night, even though he only finished with 33 receiving yards. So far this season, quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been content to spread the targets around in the Jets offense but Wilson remains the lead receiver in New York. Wilson will now have a few extra days to rest ahead of a Week 4 matchup against the Denver Broncos.

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson has yet to post a ceiling game in 2024, having caught just 10 passes for 117 yards through two games thus far. He will look to make a bigger impact in the box score against the New England Patriots in Week 3's Thursday night game. Wilson could very well break out against a Pats defense that is allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game through the first two weeks of the season and is fresh off getting shredded by DK Metcalf (10 catches for 129 yards and a touchdown) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (12-117-0). Wilson is a lock for starting lineups as a low-end WR1 in fantasy heading into Thursday night.

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson caught four of his six targets for 57 yards in a 24-17 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 2. Wilson finished second on the team in targets, behind only Breece Hall, while his 57 receiving yards were good enough to lead the team in the close win over Tennessee. Wilson has been steady through the first two weeks of the season but fantasy gamers are still waiting for a dominant performance from their first-round draft pick. He will look to provide that for them in Week 3's Thursday night game against the New England Patriots.

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane will be an RB1 in his Week 3 road matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Expect him to rack up another significant touch total this Sunday, with the team turning to quarterback Skylar Thompson. Achane handled the rock 29 times last week, amassing 168 total yards and a receiving score as the offense's centerpiece in a 31-10 loss against the Bills. It's unlikely he challenges 30 touches weekly, but Miami could lean on its RBs moving forward with Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) set to miss at least the next four games. For this week, at least, it appears they'll again be without veteran Raheem Mostert, so expect backups Jaylen Wright and Jeff Wilson Jr. to mix in for work behind the 22-year-old. The two handled seven total touches in Week 2. Achane is RotoBaller's PPR RB6 this week.

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane rushed 22 times for 96 yards and scored in Thursday night's 31-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills. He had an additional 69 yards through the air, catching all seven of his targets. With Raheem Mostert (chest) sidelined for the matchup, the second-year back received 29 touches as Mike McDaniel's clear lead-back. Achane played 62% of snaps and was largely effective despite Miami having trouble getting their offense on track against a Bills' team that looked like they had something to prove. Unfortunately for the Dolphins, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) was forced to exit the game early after a scary-looking collision with defender Damar Hamlin. He's day-to-day for now, with Tagovailoa to undergo further testing to determine the severity of his injury. If he cannot go in Week 3, Skylar Thompson will suit up for Miami's first road game of the season against the Seattle Seahawks. Achane would tick down the rankings if that were the case, but would still be a strong play on the back of his athleticism and projected volume.

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane (ankle) is officially active for the Thursday night showdown against the division-rival Buffalo Bills after he entered the game with a questionable tag. On a short week early in the year, both Achane and Raheem Mostert (chest) missed two practices earlier this week and were up in the air to play against Buffalo. Mostert was ruled out on Wednesday, so Achane's already high fantasy ceiling just went up considerably against a Bills defense that is banged up and not as formidable as its been in recent years. The explosive and speedy second-year back is a must-start every week, especially so with Mostert sidelined. The 22-year-old had 10 carries for only 24 yards in a Week 1 win over the Jaguars, but he also scored a TD and caught seven passes for 76 yards. Jeff Wilson Jr. and rookie Jaylen Wright will have roles as well with Mostert out, but Achane should be in all lineups.

San Francisco 49ers kicker Jake Moody is in Los Angeles this week to face the Rams. The former third-round pick struggled with accuracy and field-goal opportunities in 2023 but has been productive in the young season. He currently sits in a three-way tie with New Orleans' Blake Grupe and Pittsburgh's Chris Boswell behind leader Brandon Aubrey for the second-most fantasy points per game among kickers due to a career day in Week 1, when he hit six of six field goal attempts. Even without Deebo Samuel Sr. (calf), Christian McCaffrey (Achilles), and probably George Kittle (hamstring), the 49ers offense figures to spend a good amount of time in Rams territory. The Rams' defense appears to be vulnerable after allowing four touchdowns and two field goals to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2. Moody is a Top-3 option on Sunday.

Minnesota's defense is probably nothing special -- regardless of their domination of Daniel Jones and the New York Giants last week -- so Moody should be able to ride the coattails of San Francisco's explosive offensive attack as usual. It might actually be a good thing for Moody that touchdown hog Christian McCaffrey is sidelined (Achilles). If Moody has improved his accuracy issues from last year and the 49ers continue to put him in positions of field goal volume, the talented Moody will be a top fantasy option for the foreseeable future. He's a top-3 play in Week 2.

Even more encouraging regarding his Achilles was the 18 rushing yards as he came into the game with three carries for zero yards. Rodgers now has a few extra days to rest ahead of a Week 4 matchup against the Denver Broncos.

Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift is a viable Flex/RB3 option for Sunday's matchup against the struggling Indianapolis Colts, who have had a tough time defending against running backs this season. The Colts currently allow a league-worst average of 237 rushing yards per game. While the Packers' offense had limited success in the air against the Colts, they dominated on the ground, with Josh Jacobs rushing for 151 yards on 32 carries. Additionally, the Colts recently placed star defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (ankle) on injured reserve, sidelining him for the next four weeks. Swift has averaged under three yards per carry this season, accumulating just 48 rushing yards across two games. If the Bears capitalize on Indianapolis's weak run defense, it could provide the spark needed to rejuvenate their offense. The silver lining for Swift is his significant early-season usage, with 67% of the snaps, 62% of the carries, 59% route participation, and an 11% target share. However, the Bears' offense has struggled overall, as Swift averages only 2.0 yards per carry on 24 rushes. He needs to elevate his performance to help the Bears gain momentum. Chicago must emphasize the run game through Swift, Khalil Herbert, Roschon Johnson, or Velus Jones Jr. If the offensive line fails to create holes against the league's worst run-stopping defense, it could indicate more severe issues up front than previously thought.

With the Texans allowing more than 100 rushing yards to just one player last season, Swift is a risky flex option. Khalil Herbert was out-snapped by Travis Homer, making Swift the only viable running back fantasy option. Of course, only if the Bears can sustain drives and improve their offensive line performance.

Lazard and quarterback Aaron Rodgers showed good chemistry a few years back as members of the Green Bay Packers and that appears to have carried over to the Jets, putting Lazard on the map as a flex option in fantasy moving forward. He will now have a few extra days to prepare to take on the Denver Broncos in Week 4.

New England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas turned nine targets into seven catches for 69 yards against the New York Jets on Thursday night. Douglas had been off to a quiet start this season, finishing Week 2 with zero targets and the third-most snaps among wide receivers on the team. However, he got more reps during practice leading up to the Jets game, and it seems to have paid off. The Liberty product connected with Jacoby Brissett early and often, and he also appeared to have a rapport with rookie Drake Maye. Douglas has managed to get back on the fantasy radar as a low-end WR4 heading into Week 4.

New England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas has been a massive disappointment this fantasy football season and should be avoided in fantasy leagues until further notice. That includes this week when the Patriots play the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football. Douglas has just two catches this year, and he was out-snapped by both K.J. Osborn and Ja'Lynn Polk last Sunday. With his role apparently shrinking and passing volume coming at a premium in this Patriots offense, Douglas is avoidable in just about every fantasy league. He belongs on the bench or even on waivers for Week 3 against the Jets.
