Fantasy managers have seen the good and the bad from Buffalo Bills' rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman. He led the Bills in receptions, yards, and target share in Week 1. In Week 2, his only mark in the box score was one target. Coleman is behind Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid in the target pecking order. Plus, the Bills have shifted to a run-centric offense, so there are fewer targets to go around. That's the biggest reason Coleman was shut out against Miami. The Jacksonville secondary isn't anything to worry about, but if the Bills build a big lead again, Coleman won't be fantasy-relevant. Therefore, it's safer to leave the low-end WR4 on fantasy football benches this week.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman did not secure his lone target on Thursday Night Football, resulting in a goose egg in the box score. It's a disappointing step back for the rookie, who led the team in receptions and yards in Week 1. It can't all be blamed on Coleman, however. Josh Allen only completed 13 passes in the blowout victory. The Bills looked toward Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid in the passing game early. After three touchdowns from James Cook gave Buffalo a big lead, they didn't need to open things up on offense. Coleman and the Bills will enjoy a mini-bye week and return to the field on Monday Night Football in Week 3 against Jacksonville.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman begins his second week of professional, regular season football leading the team in most statistical receiving categories. Unfortunately, his four catches and 51 yards aren't an amazing stat line. Josh Allen spreads the football around, connecting with nine different receivers in Week 1. That could be the story of the Buffalo season, especially if Dalton Kincaid doesn't command targets as expected. Coleman is the most intriguing prospect of the Bills' wide receivers but he's not ready to be in fantasy football starting lineups. The leading receiver could change every week. Like Week 1, Coleman could emerge as the top receiver or score his first touchdown. He could just as easily catch one or two passes on Thursday Night Football.

Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride has picked up right where he left off at the end of 2023 and will look to continue his solid production against the Detroit Lions in Week 3. Currently ranked as the fourth-best tight end in fantasy, McBride is poised to remain a top option as the season progresses. He has emerged as Kyler Murray's go-to security blanket, leading all Cardinals in targets with 15, which is also third among all tight ends through two weeks. While McBride's Week 2 touchdown came via a fumble recovery, his involvement in the offense remains strong. In Week 3, the Cardinals face the Lions in what should be a favorable matchup for McBride. With Detroit's elite pass rush generating quick pressure, Murray will likely check down to McBride frequently to counter the rush. Additionally, he will be matched up against Lions safety Brian Branch, giving him a significant size advantage. Expect the Cardinals to lean heavily on McBride again, making him a strong candidate to finish as the top tight end in fantasy this week. He's a must-start in all formats.

Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride was in the right place at just the right time when running back James Conner fumbled at the Rams' five-yard line in the fourth quarter of the two teams' Week 2 showdown. McBride fell on top of the loose ball as it bounced into the end zone, giving Arizona their fifth touchdown of the day in their 41-10 rout of the Rams. A key component of the Cardinals' passing attack, McBride led the team with six catches, catching each ball thrown his way and gaining 67 receiving yards in the process. Fantasy managers fortunate enough to roster McBride can keep him locked in for Arizona's Week 3 matchup against the Detroit Lions, who allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends last season.

Tight ends league-wide disappointed in Week 1. As it was, Trey McBride's eight points in half-PPR leagues were still good for a top-10 finish at the position. While his production (five catches for 30 yards) fell short of expectations, fantasy managers found a silver lining in McBride's utilization. The Cardinals deployed their star tight end on 85% of snaps and he led the team with a 29% target share against the Buffalo Bills last week. In Week 2, Arizona plays the Los Angeles Rams, who give up the fifth-most fantasy points to tight ends in 2023. McBride is a priority target in the Cardinals' passing attack and should enjoy a more productive game. The 24-year-old is already one of the top options at tight end and should be locked into starting lineups. McBride will be a top-12 tight end in Week 2, and given his usage in Arizona's offense, could find himself at the top by the end of the week.

Chicago Bears rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze aims to turn around his quiet start to the season this Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. His role has been particularly frustrating for fans, as offensive coordinator Shane Waldron has yet to utilize his elite skill set fully. Odunze managed only two receptions against the Texans, with a missed opportunity in the end zone overshadowing his performance. However, his struggles aren't solely on him; finding a rhythm is challenging when he's not consistently targeted. Odunze will look to rebound against a vulnerable Colts passing defense. The Colts secondary has the second-worst expected points added per dropback against outside wide receivers, allowing a 75% catch rate and tons of receiving yards to wideouts. With fellow wide receiver Keenan Allen (heel) not playing, Odunze could see an uptick in targets. However, with rookie quarterback Caleb Williams averaging just 134 yards and no touchdowns through the air, there may not be enough volume to support even one wide receiver, let alone three. Unless fantasy managers are desperate and Allen is ruled out, Odunze should remain on fantasy benches this week.

Chicago Bears rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze (knee) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. The rookie wideout played through a knee issue last week, but Odunze appears to be fine now. He's set for an increased workload with fellow wideout Keenan Allen (heel) ruled out for this game. Odunze has three receptions for 44 yards through two games. The Bears can't seem to move the ball right now, which makes Odunze a tough fantasy play. He should be considered a shaky flex option for Week 3.

If Allen misses a second straight contest, Odunze will be a boom/bust WR4/flex play for fantasy managers as the WR2 in Chicago behind DJ Moore.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young will likely be re-installed as the team's starter later this season, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The former No. 1 pick was benched earlier this week, but the team views the decision "as a break or timeout more than anything." Carolina reportedly still has confidence in Young, who has completed 55.3 percent of his passes for 245 yards, zero passing touchdowns, and three interceptions so far. He does also have 18 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown to his name. Fantasy managers should hold Young in dynasty leagues but can drop him in single-QB redraft formats.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, several teams around the National Football League have "expressed an interest" in acquiring Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young. However, head coach Dave Canales has stated the team doesn't have plans to trade him. The 2023 No. 1 overall pick didn't have a memorable rookie season. Unfortunately, Young's struggles have carried into the 2024-25 campaign, with the signal-caller throwing three picks and completing 55.4% of his attempts in the Panthers' first two games. As a result, he won't be under center when Carolina meets the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3, with veteran Andy Dalton taking over. At any rate, there are questions concerning Young's potential at the professional level. But now isn't the time for dynasty managers to sell low, especially since Young has time to turn things around.

Carolina Panthers head coach Dave Canales addressed rumors of a potential trade involving quarterback Bryce Young, stating, "That's not something we're really considering. We have a great situation with our quarterbacks right now." Earlier this week, Canales announced that the Panthers would be benching Young in favor of veteran Andy Dalton, sparking speculation that teams might reach out to inquire about a trade. Canales put those rumors to rest today. The Panthers have a road matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, who recently upset the Ravens in Baltimore. For now, neither Panthers quarterback should be considered in Week 3 for fantasy purposes.

Minnesota Vikings running back Ty Chandler showed some explosive playmaking ability in Week 2, as he turned 10 rushing attempts into 82 yards on the ground, with seven of those carries going for at least five yards. The third-year running back has had at least 10 touches each game for the Vikings so far this season and may be needed to maintain steady offensive production in Week 3 against a stout Houston Texans defense. His timeshare with Aaron Jones (hip) could pose some unpredictability for Chandler, though head coach Kevin O'Connell trusts his backup running back; the 26-year-old touches the ball on 55% of his offensive snaps, leading all Vikings rushers. If you're experiencing significant injuries on your team, you could do worse than Chandler as a flex this week.

Minnesota Vikings running back Ty Chandler took 10 carries for 82 yards in Sunday's 23-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers. His long gain was a 25-yard scamper, and he did not receive a target. Chandler had one more rush than Aaron Jones in the contest and outpaced him by 50 yards on his way to a hyper-efficient 8.2 yards per tote. However, Jones did receive six targets in the passing game, hauling in five for 36 yards. Through two games, the Vikings' backfield split has been all over the place, with Jones out-carrying Chandler -- and out-producing him cumulatively -- in Week 1, although the latter caught all three of his targets that week -- one more than the former. The 26-year-old is unlikely to boast stand-alone value while sharing the field with the former Packer. However, the backfield split this week at least warrants an eye-brow raise and is a situation to monitor moving forward. Minnesota will take on the Houston Texans at home in Week 3.

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Gabe Davis is a risky flex play in Week 3, but a revenge game with the Buffalo Bills offers some unique upside if fantasy managers believe in that type of thing. Davis has been a boom-or-bust receiver his entire career, but he does currently lead the Jaguars in targets and is tied for the team lead in receptions with six. If the Jaguars offense can get it going on Monday night, he could be in line for a huge game. It is also just as likely he puts up a dud, but that is what fantasy managers signed up for when they drafted the former Bill. There are definitely safer plays, but Davis has interesting upside as a WR3/flex. While the Bills defense is better against the pass than the run, it is at least worth considering the veteran receiver for starting lineups in Week 3.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely came crashing down in Week 2 after a huge effort in Week 1 made him one of the hottest waiver wire additions in all of fantasy football. The Coastal Carolina product went from 12 targets and nine receptions against the Kansas City Chiefs to three targets and two receptions against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2. After posting a TE1 finish in half-PPR formats, he fell right down to TE21. Likely's success comes down to matchups, game script, and whether or not Mark Andrews is getting heavily game-planned against. The Dallas Cowboys present a tougher matchup for the passing game, but they showed some holes and weaknesses against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2. Likely only saw an 8.9% target share in Week 2 which is something fantasy managers can't rely on, and that moves him down the list and onto the bench.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely couldn't replicate the same magic from Week 1 as he came up with a disappointing performance in the 26-23 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. The third-year tight end recorded two receptions for 26 yards on three targets and was doubled up by Mark Andrews in receptions and almost in yards. Likely's fantasy value is going to be volatile as the passing game seems to have a different hot hand each week. On top of that, there will be changing tight end priorities while the offensive line goes through a rough patch to start the year. Likely will look to create more separation in Week 3 when the Ravens take on the Dallas Cowboys in a big road game.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely became the waiver addition of the week after a huge performance against the Kansas City Chiefs. While Mark Andrews helped with the lack of blocking from the offensive line, Likely was finding plenty of separation to the tune of a 100-yard game. Now, the Ravens have a committee at tight end with both of them playing a bigger part in the passing game than a lot of wide receivers. If Andrews has to help out blocking again, Likely could be in line for another big game. The Raiders tight end coverage isn't the best, but they do have Maxx Crosby to worry about. The ultimate decider between Likely and Andrews comes down to the game script, but Likely should be a high-end TE2 even if he doesn't garner 30% of the target share as he did in Week 1.
