Whittington (quadriceps) did not participate in Wednesday's practice, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.

Whittington has failed to practice since sustaining a quadriceps injury during the Rams' Week 1 loss to the 49ers. The wide receiver has missed four consecutive practices and appears no closer to suiting up for the team's Week 3 showdown with the Broncos on Sunday.

Miller (hip/back) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.

It's not clear when Miller suffered the injury, but his availability for Week 3 is now in doubt. If he's not able to practice in full Thursday or Friday, there's a good chance he'll end up carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

Wright (stinger/foot) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.

Wright was forced out of Sunday's loss at San Francisco early with a stinger, and it looks like he might have picked up a foot issue along the way as well. He'll likely have to manage a full practice Thursday or Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

Valdes-Scantling was signed to the Chargers' active roster Wednesday.

Valdes-Scantling inked a deal to join the practice squad with Los Angeles on Sept. 15, and he will now get a shot with the active roster. The 31-year-old will provide the team with another veteran option at wide receiver ahead of Week 3 versus the Bills.

Moore (ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Moore likely suffered the ankle injury in the Ravens' 24-17 loss to the Saints on Sunday. The wide receiver played 32 offensive snaps and eight special-teams snaps in the contest as the team's No. 4 option at wide receiver. If Moore cannot upgrade to a full practice participant by Friday's session, he will likely be stuck with an injury designation ahead of the Ravens' Week 3 matchup with the Cowboys.

Allen (hip) was a limited participant at the Jaguars' practice Wednesday.

Allen failed to reel in his only target while playing nine offensive snaps during the team's 20-13 loss to Denver in Week 2. The running back has been limited at practice on and off throughout the entire season while dealing with a hip injury, and he seems likely to be good to go Sunday versus New England.

Raridon (thigh) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.

Raridon was forced to leave Sunday's 20-3 win over the Steelers in the first half with a thigh injury, and he was unable to return to the game. The tight end's ability to practice in any capacity Wednesday is a positive sign, and he'll have two more chances to log a full practice before the team faces the Jaguars in Week 3.

The Rams placed Rivers (calf) on their injured reserve list Wednesday.

Per Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site, coach Sean McVay said Wednesday that Rivers' calf injury is expected to keep him sidelined for 4-to-6 weeks. McVay also said the team plans to elevate either undrafted rookie Dean Connors or Jordan Waters from its practice squad for Sunday's game at Denver.

Gilliam (knee) was a limited participant at the Patriots' practice Wednesday.

Gilliam appears to have left Sunday's 20-3 win over the Steelers a little worse for wear, picking up a knee injury at some point during the contest. The fullback will have two more chances to log a full practice before the team's Week 3 matchup with Jacksonville.

Nwangwu (back) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.

Nwangwu did not practice at all leading up to Week 2 and missed the Jets' overtime loss to the Packers on Sunday. The running back and kick returner has missed every practice and game since sustaining a back injury on Sept. 11. Nwangwu was not placed on IR after the injury, so it is reasonable to expect the 28-year-old to return to the field by Week 4, even if he cannot increase his practice participation soon enough to play in the team's Week 3 contest against the Lions.
