The Jets are expected to place Cooper (ankle) on injured reserve, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Cooper suffered a sprained ankle early on in his pro debut this past Sunday at Tennessee that left him week to week. He predictably didn't practice during Week 2 prep and then was ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Packers. Once he's officially on injured reserve, Cooper will need to miss at least the next four games, at which point New York will be able to designate him for return from IR. In the meantime, Isaiah Williams figures to take on a bigger role behind Garrett Williams and Adonai Mitchell.

FitzPatrick (Achilles) has been cleared to resume all football activities by his surgeon, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

FitzPatrick tore his Achilles in the Packers' 2025 Week 16 loss to the Bears. The tight end has finally recovered from his surgery to repair the injury and is set to try out with multiple teams in the foreseeable future.

O'Connell is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers due to personal reasons.

O'Connell did not participate in practice Thursday and Friday while attending to a personal matter, putting his availability for Sunday's AFC West tilt in doubt. He was the emergency QB3 in Week 1 against the Dolphins, and with the Raiders not carrying a quarterback on the practice squad, Las Vegas may just go with Kirk Cousins and Fernando Mendoza as its quarterbacks for Sunday if O'Connell is unavailable.

Gore played nine offensive snaps and four special-teams snaps in the Bills' 41-31 win over the Lions on Thursday.

Gore did not appear in the box score, but the running back was a frequent pass blocker for Josh Allen in the Bills' offense. The practice-squad elevation also participated in kickoff and punt coverage as he filled the No. 3 running back in Ty Johnson's (hamstring) absence.

The Eagles cut Gray (undisclosed) from the practice-squad injured list Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Now that he's a free agent, Gray will be eligible to sign and play for a team once he's fully healthy, though his best chance of inking a deal would be to sign with an organization's practice squad. Gray was a third-round selection of the 49ers in the 2022 NFL Draft, and the 13 regular-season games he's appeared in during his pro career all came in his rookie year.

Dortch reverted to the Bills' practice squad Thursday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Dortch played a total of 12 snaps (four on offense, eight on special teams) and was the Bills' primary returner on special teams in Thursday's 41-31 win over the Lions, logging 36 yards on three punt returns and turning two kickoffs into 51 yards. It's the second consecutive game in which Dortch has been elevated to the active roster, and he's eligible to be elevated only once more for the rest of the regular season before having to be signed to the active roster in order to suit up again for the Bills in 2026.

The Saints signed Donaldson from the practice squad to the active roster Friday.

Donaldson will join a Saints backfield that is led by Travis Etienne, with Alvin Kamara and Kendre Miller providing depth at the position. Kamara didn't play in the Saints' Week 1 overtime loss to the Lions, with Donaldson being elevated from the practice squad and logging two carries for four yards and one catch for minus-2 yards. Kamara is available for Sunday's game against the Ravens, so Donaldson figures to see most of his playing time on special teams rather than on offense.

Hawes accrued zero targets during Thursday's 41-31 victory over Detroit.

Hawes started Thursday and played in 37 of the team's 74 offensive snaps, adding seven on special teams. However, the 25-year-old went without a catch (or target) for a second consecutive game. Hawes finished the 2025 campaign with 16 catches for 187 yards and three touchdowns in 17 regular-season games. Although there's a chance he will find the end zone this season, he'll likely have an uphill battle doing much more than blocking while Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox are healthy ahead of him.

Davis returned one kickoff for 31 yards during Thursday's 41-31 win versus the Lions.

Davis logged just eight offensive snaps in Week 2 despite Ty Johnson (hamstring) being inactive, and he did not record any carries or receptions. It appears unlikely he'll have much fantasy utility in the near future unless starter James Cook misses time.

Saylors logged one tackle on kick coverage and recorded two kickoff returns for 58 yards during Thursday night's 41-31 loss to the Bills.

Saylors did not play a single offensive snap in the contest, logging all 18 reps on special teams. Jahmyr Gibbs consumed almost all of the rushing work for the Lions, leaving Sione Vaki with just 11 offensive snaps and one carry to Saylors' none. Saylors is likely to remain relegated to special-teams work for the foreseeable future, and the third-year player may lose his roster spot once Isiah Pacheco (back) returns from injured reserve.
