Goff completed 26 of 38 passes for 327 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions while adding three rushes for seven yards in the Lions' 41-31 loss to the Bills on Thursday. He also committed two fumbles, losing one.

Goff's final line undoubtedly pleased fantasy managers, but in a real-world football sense, they were largely the byproduct of a high-scoring loss in which the Lions trailed throughout. He had a mostly unremarkable first half, throwing just one of his touchdown passes in that span when he connected with Jahmyr Gibbs from 11 yards out. Goff would go on to add two and 27-yard strikes to Amon-Ra St. Brown and a one-yard scoring toss to Sam LaPorta after halftime, pushing the veteran signal-caller to a sparkling 6:0 TD:INT over the first two games of the season. Goff will next take aim at the Jets secondary in a Week 3 home matchup on Sunday, Sept. 27.

Both of Goff's TD passes went to Amon-Ra St. Brown, while Jahmyr Gibbs scored on a pair of one-yard runs. The Lions' offense may have gotten a little narrower in the offseason when David Montgomery left for the Texans, but that shouldn't affect the QB's production after he threw for at least 4,500 yards and 30 touchdowns in each of the last three seasons. Goff will now shift his focus to the Bills for a Week 2 road game.

Jones projects to have a bigger role in the coming weeks with Jordan Mason (thumb) on short-term injured reserve, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

Jones impressed in Week 1 with a touchdown but played only 30 snaps, as Jordan Mason ate up a decent amount of reps as well. With Mason out for at least four weeks, Jones projects to lead the backfield while DeeJay Dallas, Demond Claiborne and Jerome Ford serve as depth options.

Jones had 12 carries for 40 yards and one touchdown and didn't catch his only target during Sunday's 39-22 win against the Packers.

Jones started and played 30 of 65 offensive snaps, while position mate Jordan Mason came off the bench and logged 29. Because Mason was able to rip off a 28-yard run in the fourth quarter, his 15 rushes went for 59 yards, and both backs scored a TD from inside the 5-yard line. In order to keep the 31-year old Jones fresh, the Vikings likely will continue with a timeshare in the backfield, though a thumb issue Mason picked up Sunday could mean a bit less work for him in the short term.

Jeudy caught two passes (on four targets) for 26 yards during the Browns' 34-10 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.
