Bowers last saw game action in Week 4, but following the Raiders' bye week, the tight end is poised to return to the team's lineup Sunday against the Jaguars. Per Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com, coach Pete Carroll noted Wednesday that Bowers has looked great of late and has been working at full speed, while the star tight end himself said he's "ready to roll" ahead of Week 9 action. In four games this season, Bowers (who caught 112 passes as a rookie in 2024) compiled a 19/225/0 receiving line on 27 targets.

Raiders coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Bowers (knee) is expected to be back on the field after the team's Week 8 bye, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.

Bowers hasn't played since Week 4 due to a lingering PCL injury and bone bruise, but the star tight end is expected to be back in the lineup Week 9 versus the Jaguars on Sunday, Nov. 2. Carroll said the same of wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (knee/toe), who joined Bowers on the sideline during the team's blowout 31-0 loss to Kansas City in Week 7. Bowers surpassed 100 receiving yards Week 1 but then logged three consecutive games below the 50-yard mark and without a touchdown while playing through his knee injury, so fantasy managers will hope he's able to return to both full health and his usual productivity levels when back in the lineup.

After going down as a non-participant on seven consecutive Raiders practice reports, Bowers returned to the field Friday as a limited participant. The increase in activity prompted the Raiders to list Bowers as doubtful rather than ruling him out heading into the Week 7 game in Kansas City, but he'll still wind up missing a third consecutive game. With a bye on tap for Week 8, the Raiders have early optimism that Bowers will have made enough progress in his recovery from a lingering PCL injury and bone bruise in his knee to return to action Week 9 versus the Jaguars on Nov. 2. Michael Mayer is expected to serve as the Raiders' top tight end Sunday while Bowers sits out another game.

Coach Mike Vrabel said Friday that Stevenson (toe) will be out for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

"I'm always going to go back to the consistency," coach Brian Schottenheimer said after the loss. "You can't put the ball on the ground. You have to be on top of your blitz pick-ups. You have to do those things."
