AJ Barner: Scores lone offensive touchdown
Monday, February 9, 2026 9:42 AM
Barner caught all four targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 29-13 win over the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
All four of Barner's catches went for first downs, and he finished second on the team in receiving yards behind Cooper Kupp (61). Barner's first postseason touchdown -- a 16-yard reception where he was wide open -- essentially put the game away for the Seahawks in the fourth quarter. The Seahawks trusted the second-year tight end with blocking and pass-catching duties all season, and he finished with 58 receptions for 586 yards and seven touchdowns across 20 games, including the postseason. He should be the leader for the No. 1 tight-end role in 2026 despite the addition of Elijah Arroyo -- a second-round pick in 2025.

George Holani: Three touches in Super Bowl
Monday, February 9, 2026 9:36 AM
Holani rushed twice for six yards and caught his lone target for seven yards in Sunday's 29-13 Super Bowl win over the Patriots.
As expected, Kenneth Walker dominated the backfield, racking up 161 yards from scrimmage on 29 touches, but Holani was effective in his limited action. The second-year back out of Boise State finished the season with 27 carries for 83 yards (3.1 YPC) and a touchdown and six receptions for 49 yards through 13 games, including the postseason. With Rashid Shaheed on board, Holani's return duties evaporated in the second half, so he'll likely need to battle for a roster spot in 2026 regardless of the status of Zach Charbonnet (torn ACL).

Jason Myers: Fantastic showing in Super Bowl
Monday, February 9, 2026 9:33 AM
Myers connected on all five field-goal attempts and both extra-point tries in Sunday's 29-13 win over the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
Myers accounted for the Seahawks' first 12 points of the game, and he finished with 17 total points. The 34-year-old kicker completed a perfect postseason, drilling all eight field-goal attempts and 11 extra-point tries through three playoff games. Myers was dependable during the regular season, too, making 85 percent of his field goals and every extra point. He's heading into the final year of his contract but could be an extension candidate as the Seahawks look to retain their title in 2026.

TreVeyon Henderson: Mixes in with Stevenson
Monday, February 9, 2026 12:13 AM
Henderson rushed the ball six times for 19 yards in Sunday's 29-13 loss to the Seahawks in Super Bowl 60. He added three receptions on three targets for 26 yards.
Henderson's overall struggles to rush efficiently in the postseason continued in the Super Bowl, though the New England offense was stalled for much of the game. Henderson's overall production was also inflated by a 24-yard catch and run on the game's final plays. However, he had a fairly even split with Rhamondre Stevenson in terms of touches, and he did manage long runs of nine and seven yards. Henderson is likely to begin the 2026 season on the smaller end of a backfield split in New England, though he showcased his ability to produce plenty on limited touches throughout this rookie season thanks to his big-play ability -- something that is likely to continue in his sophomore campaign.

Mack Hollins: Bright spot in SB 60 loss
Monday, February 9, 2026 12:03 AM
Hollins recorded four receptions on eight targets for 78 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 29-13 loss to the Seahawks in Super Bowl 60.
Hollins led the Patriots in targets and receiving yards, with the majority of his production coming on consecutive catches early in the fourth quarter. The first went for 24 yards over a crowded middle of the field, and Hollins then beat a couple of Seattle defenders to the corner of the end for a 35-yard score. Hollins remains under contract for 2026 and could be back with New England, though the team could also opt to cut and save roughly $4.5 million on the salary cap.

Rashid Shaheed: Pair of grabs in SB LX victory
Sunday, February 8, 2026 11:44 PM
Shaheed brought in two of five targets for 27 yards, rushed once for minus-5 yards, returned one kickoff for 20 yards and ran back two punts for 16 yards during the Seahawks' 29-13 win over the Patriots in Super Bowl LX on Sunday.
The speedy Shaheed played his usual multi-faceted role, and he was just inches shy of a much bigger night as Christian Gonzalez managed to knock away a deep pass intended for him down the middle early in the second quarter. Shaheed did manage to contribute gains of 16 and 11 yards on the two catches he recorded, and he made solid complementary contributions on special teams. The fourth-year pro played a relatively modest role in Seattle's air attack after coming over via trade from the Saints midway through the campaign, and it remains to be seen if the Seahawks will be interested in a reunion with the soon-to-be unrestricted free agent.

Stefon Diggs: Held to three catches in Super Bowl
Sunday, February 8, 2026 11:41 PM
Diggs recorded three catches on three targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 29-13 loss to the Seahawks in Super Bowl 60.
The Patriots couldn't sustain offense for the majority of the game and were playing with desperation by the time they were able to move the ball down the field late in the fourth quarter. That led to a very quiet game for Diggs, particularly considering that 26 of his 37 yards came on a reception with 2:58 remaining in the fourth quarter and with the Patriots down three scores. Though Diggs failed to surpass 40 receiving yards in any of New England's postseason games, he still managed 1,013 yards across 17 regular-season contests and remains a solid possession receiver. He remains under contract with New England and is very likely to be one of Drake Maye's top targets once again in 2026.

Cooper Kupp: Paces pass catchers in SB LX win
Sunday, February 8, 2026 11:30 PM
Kupp brought in six of 12 targets for 61 yards during the Seahawks' 29-13 win over the Patriots in Super Bowl LX on Sunday.
Kupp was the surprise leader for the Seahawks in receptions, receiving yards and targets, with his totals in both the first and third category also serving as game-high figures. The veteran wideout saw an elevated role partly due to the heavy defensive attention Jaxon Smith-Njigba received from Patriots shutdown cornerback Christian Gonzalez, as well as the fact Smith-Njigba exited the game for a spell in the second half to be evaluated for a concussion. Kupp ultimately played a key part in securing his second career Super Bowl win, and he's likely to continue in a complementary role in 2026 as he enters the second year of his three-year deal with Seattle.

Rhamondre Stevenson: Catches late TD in Super Bowl 60
Sunday, February 8, 2026 11:23 PM
Stevenson rushed the ball seven times for 23 yards in Sunday's 29-13 loss to the Seahawks in Super Bowl 60. He added five receptions on five targets for 40 yards and a touchdown.
Stevenson began the game as a key part of New England's game plan, though the team's inability to maintain drives limited his impact. All seven of his carries came in the first half, and the majority of his production as a pass catcher came with the Patriots down by multiple scores. The highlights of Stevenson's performance were a long reception of 13 yards and a seven-yard touchdown grab just before the two-minute warning. Stevenson fended off TreVeyon Henderson as the lead back in 2025, though Stevenson may lose a bit more of his volume, as the duo projects to split the Patriots' backfield again in 2026.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Modest numbers in SB win
Sunday, February 8, 2026 11:23 PM
Smith-Njigba brought in four of 10 targets for 27 yards during the Seahawks' 29-13 win over the Patriots in Super Bowl LX on Sunday.
The star receiver couldn't put together anything resembling the typical caliber of performance that earned him the AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award earlier in the week, as Christian Gonzalez's blanket coverage served to frequently short-circuit the often prolific Sam Darnold-Smith-Njigba connection. Smith-Njigba also exited the game for a spell in the second half to be evaluated for a concussion, but he was able to return shortly thereafter. Smith-Njigba did have a couple of particularly close calls that could have made his night much different, as Gonzalez made an excellent diving breakup of a would-be touchdown pass to the talented wideout and Darnold also missed him running free deep late in the first quarter. Despite the quiet finish to the Super Bowl run, Smith-Njigba will head into the 2026 season as an upper-echelon fantasy asset that will be snapped up in the very early stages of the first round of drafts next summer.
