With Puka Nacua (hip) inactive, Mumpfield is expected to serve as the Rams' WR2 behind Davante Adams against the Giants on Monday, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports.

Jordan Whittington (quadriceps) is also inactive, so Mumpfield is expected to take on a larger role on offense for Monday's game, though the Rams will also likely lean more heavily on tight ends Colby Parkinson, Tyler Higbee and Terrance Ferguson in 13-man personnel. Mumpfield failed to haul in his lone target while logging 16 offensive snaps during the Rams' Week 1 loss to the 49ers.

Melton (neck) was a full participant in Monday's estimated practice, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Melton exited last Sunday's overtime win over the Jets early with a stinger. The kick returner is expected to be all set to practice at full capacity Tuesday as the team prepares for Thursday's primetime game against the Falcons.

Adams will serve as the Rams' No. 1 WR on Monday versus the Giants with Puka Nacua (hip) inactive, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports.

Nacua showed up on the Rams' injury report Friday as a non-participant due to a hip injury and sat out again Saturday before the team termed him questionable for Week 2 action. He began trending the wrong way to play as the weekend went on, though, and now that Nacua is officially out, Adams should have unfettered access to passes from QB Matthew Stafford on Monday. In the one game in which Nacua missed last season (Week 7 at Jacksonville), Adams took full advantage of his eight targets, turning them into five catches for 35 yards and three touchdowns.

Wright (neck) is day-to-day heading into Week 3, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Wright suffered a stinger during Sunday's 35-13 loss to the 49ers, and he finished his day having turned two carries into 11 yards while also adding 79 kickoff-return yards. The running back's status at the team's first practice of the week Wednesday will shed some more light on his chances to play Week 3 versus the Chiefs.

Simpson (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Rams' emergency third quarterback for Monday's game against the Giants.

Stetson Bennett will once again serve as the Rams' backup to Matthew Stafford, leaving Simpson as the QB3. As the emergency third quarterback, Simpson will not be allowed to play Monday unless both Bennett and Stafford were to leave the game due to injury, illness or ejection.

Whittington (quadriceps) is inactive for Monday's game against the Giants.

Whittington drew the doubtful tag for MNF after missing practice all week due to a quad injury he sustained in the Rams' Week 1 loss to the 49ers. He'll join fellow wide receiver Puka Nacua (hip) in street clothes, and the duo will aim to be available for Week 3 against the Broncos on Sept. 27. The Rams will have four active wide receivers in Davante Adams, Konata Mumpfield, Xavier Smith and Tutu Atwell for Monday's game.

Harris is active for Monday's game against the Rams, Patricia Traina of SI.com reports.

Harris was a healthy scratch for Week 1 against the Cowboys, but the sixth-year pro will suit up for Monday's road game in Los Angeles. Cam Skattebo will lead the Giants' backfield and Devin Singletary should serve as the team's change-of-pace back, but Harris could see more snaps on offense than Tyrone Tracy, given that the latter coughed up a fumble last week against Dallas.

Freiermuth caught four passes on five targets for 32 yards while logging a two-yard carry during the Steelers' 20-3 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

Freiermuth and Darnell Washington were both named starters for Sunday's game, with the former leading all Steelers tight ends with 46 of 67 offensive snaps (68.7 percent). Unlike Week 1 against the Falcons, Freiermuth did not draw a red zone target from Aaron Rodgers in Week 2, with the veteran quarterback averaging just 4.8 yards per pass attempt against New England. Freiermuth will take a 9-78-1 receiving line (on 10 targets) into a Week 3, AFC North divisional showdown against the Bengals.

Nacua (hip) is listed as inactive Monday against the Giants, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Nacua didn't practice Friday or Saturday due to what officially was listed as a hip issue on the Rams' injury report, but head coach Sean McVay termed the concern "soreness in his groin" Saturday that wasn't related to the psoas discomfort that he dealt with during training camp. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Sunday morning that Nacua would be a "pre-game decision" before relaying Monday that the wide receiver was "trending the wrong way" to play. Now that Nacua's inactive status is confirmed -- along with Jordan Whittington's (quadriceps) -- Davante Adams will be the team's featured WR in Week 2, with Konata Mumpfield, Xavier Smith and Tutu Atwell also on hand for reps. Nacua's next chance for game action is this coming Sunday at Denver.

Wilson caught five of six targets for 28 yards during the Steelers' 20-3 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

Wilson stepped into the WR2 role alongside DK Metcalf for Sunday's game due to the absence of Michael Pittman (foot). Wilson responded by leading all Pittsburgh pass-catchers in receptions, though he averaged only 5.6 yards per catch in a game where Aaron Rodgers averaged only 4.8 yards per pass attempt. Wilson played 55 of 70 offensive snaps in Week 2, which was tied with rookie second-rounder Germie Bernard for second-most among Steelers wide receivers behind DK Metcalf (68). The Steelers will return home for a Week 3 clash against the Bengals, and Wilson and Bernard would both retain their elevated roles if Pittman is not cleared to return.
