The rookie back has recorded three 100-plus rushing games over his final six games of the regular season. Irving has taken full control of the backfield in Tampa Bay heading into Sunday's Wild-Card game against the Washington Commanders. Last meeting, Irving rushed nine times for 62 yards during their first game against Washington in Week 1. That was back when Rachaad White was the lead back, but Irving has seen 15 or more carries in each of the last four games. Irving should remain a focal point on offense and is looking like a solid DFS option for this weekend. It's worth noting that Irving was on the injury report this week, but was able to practice in full every day. DFS players shouldn't be worried about him being limited at all. Bucky Irving Finds End Zone As Buccaneers Clinch Division Title Sunday, January 5, 2025 9:31 PM Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving rushed 19 times for 89 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's Week 18 win over the New Orleans Saints. He also caught two of his five targets but lost five yards through the air. The rookie was phenomenal this season, supplanting Rachaad White as the Buccaneers' No. 1 running back en route to tallying 1,122 rushing yards, 392 receiving yards, and eight total touchdowns. He finished his first NFL campaign as a high-end RB2, despite playing more than 55 percent of the offensive snaps just once. With his workload expected to expand even more in 2025, Irving is well on his way to ranking as a top-five running back in fantasy football. He could sneak into the first round of drafts next summer. In the meantime, he and the Buccaneers will embark on their playoff run starting next weekend. Bucky Irving Posts Another Strong Performance Sunday, January 5, 2025 9:07 PM Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving finished his rookie campaign on a high note during Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. Irving rushed the ball 19 times for 89 yards and scored a touchdown during the win. He also added two receptions on five targets for -5 yards during the division clinching victory. The 22-year-old has literally run his way with the lead back job in Tampa Bay. Fellow back Rachaad White didn't even log in a touch during Sunday's win. After sitting out for rest purposes in the Week 18 loss to the division-rival Chicago Bears in the regular-season finale, Doubs will be ready to play on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles on the road on wild-card weekend. And with Christian Watson (knee) now done for the year with a torn ACL, the 24-year-old Doubs will have a higher fantasy ceiling, albeit against an Eagles secondary that won't be an easy matchup. And while Doubs should have slightly more opportunities, he will still be battling for targets with Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks. During the regular season, Doubs was outside the top-50 wideouts in half-PPR points per game with a 46-601-4 line in 13 games. Consider him a boom/bust WR2 sleeper in DFS and playoff formats this weekend. Doubs popped up on the team's Week 18 injury report on Saturday with an illness and was held out of Sunday's loss to the division-rival Chicago Bears with the Packers already locked into a playoff spot. Now that the 24-year-old has had time to rest up, he should be good to go for Sunday's contest in Philly, where Doubs will be a more attractive fantasy sleeper play with teammate Christian Watson (knee) done for the rest of the season after tearing his ACL in Week 18. He has been one of several impactful pass-catchers in the Packers' offense, commanding targets amidst a committee of low-end fantasy receivers.
