The Challenge will have 12 starting roster spots rather than the 10 starting roster spots in a typical FFPC starting lineup. With fourteen total playoff teams and 12 starting roster spots, each entrant will need to fade two teams, which has always been the case for the FFPC Playoff Challenge.

• Contest capped at a maximum of 7,800 entries.
• $500,000 Grand Prize
• $1,400,250 in guaranteed prizes paying down to 900th place
• Contest runs from the start of the NFL playoffs through the Super Bowl.
• Each team consists of 12 players in an FFPC starting roster format (plus two additional flexes).
• Each team chooses from 14 playoff teams but only ONE per team.
• All rosters will be locked by kickoff of the first NFL playoff game at 4:30pm THIS SATURDAY.
• No roster adjustments will be allowed even for games starting later.

Footballguys Challenge Deadline Is Near

The FFPC and Footballguys.com have banded together once again this year to bring back the 2022-23 Footballguys Playoff Challenge with a $100,000 grand prize and deep payouts. Plus all the excitement and perfect simplicity of the original playoff challenge format: no draft, no salary cap, no convoluted rules. Just pick 12 players and let ’em ride to the Pro Football Championship. All of that goodness but now with just a $35 entry fee!

Four 2022 Big Payback Champions

Along with the High Society leagues, our 2022 FFPC Big Payback leagues that feature $5,000 entry fees and $25,000 first-place prizes are among the toughest competition that you can find anywhere. And this year's edition featured three separate five-figure winners.

In the Big Payback #1 league, it was CeeGee's Dream_Chasers squad, led by Austin Ekeler's 32.1, that found its way to a title in the two-week playoff as it defeated PatrickDaly's Wall Street Warrior 272.7-250.55. Lombardi Time (J)--owned by Jay Reid and DannyMueller--finished behind PatrickDaly to take third place.

CeeGee took home $25,000 for first and an additional $5,000 for being a top-two seed in the regular season with PatrickDaly bringing in $15,000 for second place. Jay Reid and DannyMueller earned $5,000 for third and banked another $5,000 for being the other top-two seed.

Albert Chapman's Geckos was able to win the title in Big Payback #2 for the second year in a row as it came out ahead of second-place DougMoe's Cougars 320.8-294.3. Patrick Mahomes (29.8), Brandon Aiyuk (26.7) and Najee Harris (20.3) did most of the heavy lifting en route to a 163.1 Week 17 score for Albert Chapman.

The Geckos cashed $25,000 for first and another $5,000 for being the two-seed while DougMoe got $15,000 for second. bigfish500's The Big Fish placed third, good for $5,000 plus another $5,000 for being a top-two seed.

DavidCom and RogerJared's JarCo was able to come out on top in Big Payback #3 as their team beat Bronte's NEW SHERIFF 262-257.35. Mahomes was the heaviest hitter for DavidCom and RogerJared as they cashed a $25,000 first-place purse.

Bronte won $15,000 for second along with another $5,000 for being a top-two seed in the regular season. Cocktails & Dreams finished in third in this league for $5,000 as well with Mongooses earning $5,000 for being a top-two regular season finisher.

Finally, in Big Payback #4, johnpierce80's Fat Frankie Inc outlasted Draft Guy and FantasyPortfolio.win's entry 301.55-277.45 in the two-week playoff to win the $25,000 first-place prize. johnpierce80 also took home an additional $5,000 for being a top-two regular season seed as well.

Draft Guy and FantasyPortfolio.win divvied up $15,000 between them for placing second. Bill Ezzell and Don Ezzell won $10,000 total--$5,000 for being a top-two regular season team and $5,000 for placing third.

It was awesome to watch these 48 teams battle it out in these four leagues over the course of the season. Congrats to each of the four winners. In 2023, these leagues should be just as fun and competitive once again!
