Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift is a viable Flex/RB3 option for Sunday's matchup against the struggling Indianapolis Colts, who have had a tough time defending against running backs this season. The Colts currently allow a league-worst average of 237 rushing yards per game. While the Packers' offense had limited success in the air against the Colts, they dominated on the ground, with Josh Jacobs rushing for 151 yards on 32 carries. Additionally, the Colts recently placed star defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (ankle) on injured reserve, sidelining him for the next four weeks. Swift has averaged under three yards per carry this season, accumulating just 48 rushing yards across two games. If the Bears capitalize on Indianapolis's weak run defense, it could provide the spark needed to rejuvenate their offense. The silver lining for Swift is his significant early-season usage, with 67% of the snaps, 62% of the carries, 59% route participation, and an 11% target share. However, the Bears' offense has struggled overall, as Swift averages only 2.0 yards per carry on 24 rushes. He needs to elevate his performance to help the Bears gain momentum. Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens recorded five receptions for 57 yards on seven looks in the team's Week 3 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Pickens continued to operate as the clear WR1 in Pittsburgh despite being out-gained by teammate Calvin Austin III and dropping a pass on third down in the second quarter. Once again, the 23-year-old displayed chemistry with quarterback Justin Fields, leading the team in targets and earning an opportunity near the end zone. Through three weeks of the season, Pickens appears to be on the cusp of a breakout campaign. He'll hope to strike paydirt for the first time this year next week against the Indianapolis Colts.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens has looked every bit the part of a WR1 in 2024 but is yet to score as a top-24 fantasy option in half-PPR formats. He'll hope to change that at home against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3. This is projected to be a low-scoring, run-heavy affair, but if both defenses continue to defend the run as well as they have through two weeks, shots will need to be taken downfield. Pickens is not only the clear favorite target of quarterback Justin Fields but also the premier vertical threat in Pittsburgh. Although the third-year pro could disappoint if the Steelers struggle to move the ball, he offers plenty of upside as a WR2 or flex option in most fantasy leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens finished with just two receptions for 29 yards on four targets in the team's 13-6 win over the Denver Broncos. Although Pickens was quiet for fantasy purposes, this is a case where the box score statistics don't quite tell the whole story. In the second quarter, Pickens came down with an impressive catch on an even better throw by quarterback Justin Fields that was ultimately called back due to holding. On Pittsburgh's next possession, Pickens took a short pass into the endzone for a six-yard score, but an offensive pass interference call on receiver Van Jefferson erased the touchdown. All in all, this was a difficult matchup for Pickens to begin with, so fantasy managers should choose to be optimistic given his usage as the clear WR1 in this offense. Pickens and the Steelers will hope to put more points on the board in their home opener against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams posted his worst performance of the young season as he wasn't nearly as involved in the Week 3 win over the Arizona Cardinals as he was in the first two games. The former 12th-overall pick only saw three targets and one carry which turned into one reception for nine yards and a loss of seven yards on the ground. The ground game was a much bigger focus in this game as they handed the ball off 43 times compared to 23 passing attempts. Detroit was also in the lead for much of this game, so the receivers weren't getting involved as much in general. Williams will look ahead to a primetime matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 4.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams is finally showing the potential that everyone expected and he's started off the season as the WR6 in half-PPR formats. In two games, Williams has 10 receptions for 200 yards and a touchdown on 20 targets with two carries for 28 yards on the ground. Now, the Lions take on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3 where Williams can break free for some big plays. The Cardinals give up the 10th most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers right now, giving up an average of 28.7 fantasy points per game. Williams projects to have one of the best matchups in his favor according to RotoBaller's matchup tool while he'll likely go up against Sean Murphy-Bunting most of the time who received a 51.6 coverage grade.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams has proven to be a key piece to this offense in the season's first two games. The third-year wideout received 11 targets on Sunday, turning that into five receptions for 79 yards while taking one carry for 15 yards. Williams was second to only Amon-Ra St. Brown (19) when it comes to targets, with the next highest being Jahmyr Gibbs who had seven. With an ADP of around 120 on most platforms, Williams is becoming a steal with the type of production he's generating in the early goings. In Week 3, the Lions will take on an Arizona Cardinals team that just put up 41 points on the Rams, so it could turn into a shootout, benefitting both Williams and St. Brown.

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott will go on the road to take on the New Orleans Saints in Week 3. The 29-year-old did not have much involvement last week, kicking just one short field goal and converting two extra points. Better days are ahead for the Eagles kicker and it could start this week against New Orleans. The Saints have held opponents out of the end zone well through two weeks, but have allowed five field goals, tied for 11th-most in the league through two weeks. Fantasy managers can continue to roll out Elliott with confidence in Week 3.

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott will face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2 on Monday night. The 29-year-old was perfect in the opener, nailing two short-field goals and converting all four of his extra-point attempts. While it was a good week for kickers around the league last week, Elliott remains a top-tier fantasy option going up against Atlanta, who just allowed Steelers kicker Chris Boswell to score six field goals against them in Week 1. Continue to fire up Elliott as an elite fantasy option in Week 2.

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff hasn't had the greatest start to the season as he continues to hover around the QB2 territory each week. He did, however, lead the Lions to their second win of the season behind 199 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception on 18-for-23 throwing. He also took two sacks on top of three carries for six yards. Right now, Goff has thrown one more interception than touchdowns (4-to-3), and he's averaging 241 yards per game. Detroit's offense has been split almost perfectly down the middle so far as they've had a total of 101 rushing attempts compared to 107 passing attempts. Goff saw a lot of touchdowns come from red zone targets to Sam LaPorta, but there haven't been many of those to start the year. Goff will look to post a big-time performance in a primetime game against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 4.

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff threw for over 300 yards, but still ended up having a bad performance last week. Goff was airing it out as he completed 34-of-55 passing attempts, but he threw zero touchdowns and two interceptions in the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Goff has 524 passing yards through two games as he heads into a favorable matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. A defensive unit that has struggled to contain the pass. Despite that, Goff hasn't done enough to be considered anything more than a QB2 heading into this game.

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff completed 34 of 55 pass attempts for 307 yards and two interceptions in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He did not throw a touchdown during Sunday's loss. Goff has now had two average games to start the 2024 season. The 29-year-old is considered a low-end QB2 if he doesn't pick it up soon. After struggling against the Los Angeles Rams and an average Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense, the former No. 1 overall pick will look to bounce back against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3.

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (oblique) was already listed as doubtful for their Week 3 contest against the Miami Dolphins, but he's officially been deemed inactive. Zach Charbonnet will step in as the starting running back with Kenny McIntosh coming in as the backup. Charbonnet was the only member of the backfield to receive touches in their Week 2 win over the New England Patriots, and he registered 38 yards on 14 carries with five catches for 31 yards. Seattle will likely rely on the passing game once again. Walker's next chance to play will be Week 4 on the road against the Detroit Lions.

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (oblique) was listed as doubtful for Sunday's game on Friday's injury report, according to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times. The Michigan State product suffered an oblique injury in the opening week and could not suit up in last week's game. Fantasy managers should expect Zach Charbonnet to serve as the lead runner again for on Sunday. Charbonnet logged all but two snaps last weekend as he ran for 38 yards and a score on 14 carries and added 31 yards on five catches through the air. Fantasy managers should feel comfortable slotting Charbonnet in their lineup as a high-end RB2 as he will face the Miami Dolphins, who surrendered 28.5 PPR points to James Cook last week.UPDATE: Walker was limited in Friday's practice after picking up DNPs on Wednesday and Thursday.

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (oblique) wasn't with the rest of the team's RBs during early warm-ups before practice on Thursday, but he did some running off to the side again before heading indoors as practice began. It sounds as though Walker will be listed as a non-participant in practice for the second day in a row after sitting out of the team's Week 2 win over the New England Patriots last Sunday. The 23-year-old will need to get in at least a limited practice on Friday to have any shot at returning for Week 3 versus the Miami Dolphins at Lumen Field. As of right now, fantasy managers should keep Walker on their benches. Although backup Zach Charbonnet did find the end zone last week, the 23-year-old averaged just 2.7 yards per carry and picked up 38 yards on 14 attempts while catching five passes for an additional 31 yards. He'll have RB2 upside again if Walker is out.UPDATE: Walker missed a second straight practice on Thursday.

New England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas turned nine targets into seven catches for 69 yards against the New York Jets on Thursday night. Douglas had been off to a quiet start this season, finishing Week 2 with zero targets and the third-most snaps among wide receivers on the team. However, he got more reps during practice leading up to the Jets game, and it seems to have paid off. The Liberty product connected with Jacoby Brissett early and often, and he also appeared to have a rapport with rookie Drake Maye. Douglas has managed to get back on the fantasy radar as a low-end WR4 heading into Week 4.

New England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas has been a massive disappointment this fantasy football season and should be avoided in fantasy leagues until further notice. That includes this week when the Patriots play the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football. Douglas has just two catches this year, and he was out-snapped by both K.J. Osborn and Ja'Lynn Polk last Sunday. With his role apparently shrinking and passing volume coming at a premium in this Patriots offense, Douglas is avoidable in just about every fantasy league. He belongs on the bench or even on waivers for Week 3 against the Jets.

New England Patriots wide receiver Demario Douglas did not command a target during the team's 23-20 overtime loss against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2. It has been an underwhelming start to the season for the second-year receiver, who now has just two catches through two games. Many fantasy managers spent a late-round pick on Douglas thinking that he could be a reliable option in the short passing game, but so far, he has been the opposite of reliable. He can be dropped in most redraft leagues as the Patriots employ a run-heavy approach and Brissett throws to the receivers not named Douglas.

Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders can be avoided by fantasy managers ahead of the team's Week 3 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Sanders has missed just one kick on the season -- a 42-yarder he pushed wide-left in Week 1 -- and has drilled all three of his extra-point attempts. Still, he isn't a recommended option this Sunday. With quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) placed on injured reserve, it's difficult to project Miami as many scoring opportunities for the offense led by Skylar Thompson. The Dolphins' skill players should keep the 28-year-old place-kicker in contention for a few weekly points, but he can only be relied on once the Fins prove they can still be an effective offensive unit with Thompson under center. Sanders is RotoBaller's K25 ahead of Week 3.

Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders will again look to help his team to a victory when they face the Buffalo Bills in a Thursday Night Football divisional matchup. Sanders successfully converted both of his extra-point tries and 2-of-3 field goals -- including a 52-yard game-winner with time expiring -- against the Jacksonville Jaguars this past Sunday. His miss was a 42-yard attempt in the third quarter. The 28-year-old did not attempt a field goal in his matchups against the Bills last season and was just 4-for-4 on point attempt tries over the two contests. Buffalo's defense doesn't hold quite the star power it once did, so it's fair to expect Sanders to score more than two fantasy points -- his total in both matchups last season. Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater connected on both of his FG and XP tries last week in the team's 34-28 loss. The Bills will probably play the Fins tough, but Sanders should still have a nice game. He's RotoBaller's K8 in this week's rankings.
