Ollie Gordon: Scores first pro TD in loss
Friday, September 19, 2025 12:24 AM

Gordon rushed nine times for 38 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' 31-21 loss to the Bills on Thursday night.

The rookie sixth-round pick capped off the opening possession of the night with a two-yard touchdown run, his first NFL score. Gordon had logged only three total carries through the first two games, making his workload boost Thursday night particularly notable. Lead back De'Von Achane finished with just three more carries than Gordon, although the former was also targeted nine times. Given Gordon was productive with his opportunities against Buffalo, he could fill a solid complementary role once again in a Week 4 home matchup against the Jets on Monday night, Sept. 29.

Dalton Kincaid: Paces pass catchers in Week 3 win
Friday, September 19, 2025 12:12 AM

Kincaid secured five of six targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 31-21 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.

Kincaid led the Bills in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the night, rounding out his productive performance with a 20-yard outstretched touchdown grab in the first quarter that answered Miami's early score. The athletic tight end has arguably been Buffalo's most consistent game-to-game pass catcher for fantasy purposes through the first three games, as he'll take a 13-151-2 line on 16 targets into a Week 4 home matchup against the Saints on Sunday, Sept. 28.

Keon Coleman: Three catches in Week 3 win
Friday, September 19, 2025 12:08 AM

Coleman secured three of four targets for 20 yards in the Bills' 31-21 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.

The second-year wideout was tied for third in receptions for the Bills on the night, but that led to a very modest yardage total. Coleman got his season off to a memorable start with an 8-112-1 line against the Ravens in Buffalo's wild Week 1 win, but he sports a combined 6-46-0 tally on seven targets over the subsequent pair of contests. The Bills haven't been forced to be anywhere near as aggressive as in the opener against Baltimore, however, so Coleman retains plenty of upside in the right game environment. Nevertheless, a Week 4 home matchup against the Saints on Sunday, Sept. 28 could be another low-volume day for the air attack.

Khalil Shakir: Scores first TD of season Thursday
Friday, September 19, 2025 12:04 AM

Shakir brought in all four targets for 45 yards and a touchdown during the Bills' 31-21 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.

The highlight of Shakir's night was a tie-breaking 15-yard touchdown grab just after the halfway point of the fourth quarter, a play on which he went in motion before reversing course at the snap, catching a swing pass out of the backfield and scooting up the left side of the field into the end zone. Shakir's receiving line represented a decent resurgence after he was limited to one catch for 12 yards against the Jets in Week 2, and he'll remain one of Josh Allen's primary targets in a Week 4 home matchup against the Saints on Sunday, Sept. 28.

Jaylen Waddle: Makes TD grab in loss
Thursday, September 18, 2025 11:58 PM

Waddle brought in five of six targets for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' 31-21 loss to the Bills on Thursday night.

Waddle went into pregame warmups uncertain to play due to a shoulder issue, but he finished tied with Tyreek Hill for first in receptions among the Dolphins' wideout. Like his teammate, Waddle also got into the end zone, scoring on a three-yard grab just before halftime to erase a 14-7 deficit. Waddle has at least four receptions in each of the Dolphins' first three games and has now scored in two straight, but he's averaging just 9.8 yards per catch heading into a Week 4 Monday night home divisional clash against the Jets on Sept. 29.

Tua Tagovailoa: Critical INT seals another loss
Thursday, September 18, 2025 11:53 PM

Tagovailoa completed 22 of 34 passes for 146 yards with two touchdowns and one interception while adding two rushes for 10 yards in the Dolphins' 31-21 loss to the Bills on Thursday night. He also fumbled once but recovered.

Tagovailoa didn't come close to following up his 315-yard tally from Sunday's loss to the Patriots, although he did manage to throw multiple touchdown passes for the second straight contest. Tagovailoa connected with Jaylen Waddle (three yards) and Tyreek Hill (five yards) for his pair of scoring tosses Thursday, but his interception on what appeared to be a poor read at the Bills' 17-yard line with just over three minutes remaining ended up being the decisive play in Miami's third loss in as many games to open 2025. The 2020 first-round pick has now thrown for under 150 yards in two of the first three games of the season while also tossing at least one pick in each contest, depressing his fantasy stock heading into a Week 4 home matchup against the Jets on Monday night, Sept. 29.

Tyreek Hill: Records TD despite modest yardage
Thursday, September 18, 2025 11:47 PM

Hill secured five of 10 targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' 31-21 loss to the Bills on Thursday night.

Hill led the Dolphins in targets and receiving yards on the night, adding his first touchdown catch of the season on a five-yard grab early in the fourth quarter. The mercurial speedster has logged 23 targets through three games and parlayed them into a 15-198-1 line, but Tua Tagovailoa's overall struggles and the general malaise that's seemingly befallen the Dolphins keeps Hill's fantasy outlook somewhat murky heading into a Week 4 home matchup against the Jets on Monday night, Sept. 29, a game where he's likely to see plenty of Sauce Gardner's coverage.

De'Von Achane: Accrues 91 total yards in loss
Thursday, September 18, 2025 11:43 PM

Achane rushed 12 times for 62 yards and brought in seven of nine targets for 29 yards in the Dolphins' 31-21 loss to the Bills on Thursday night.

After being held to 2.7 yards per carry by the Patriots in Week 2, Achane bounced back with an efficient effort on the ground that included two double-digit-yardage runs. He also followed up an 8-92-1 receiving line against New England with another busy night as a receiver, albeit in much more of a short-area role. Achane also saw rookie backfield mate Ollie Gordon convert a red-zone carry into a two-yard touchdown in the first quarter and log just three fewer carries, so the division of labor between the two will be worth monitoring in a Week 4 home matchup against the Jets on Monday night, Sept. 29.

James Cook: Eclipses 100 total yards in win
Thursday, September 18, 2025 11:37 PM

Cook rushed 19 times for 108 yards and a touchdown and brought in all three targets for 10 yards in the Bills' 31-21 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.

Cook served as the ideal complement to the exploits of Josh Allen through the air (228 yards, three touchdowns). The star running back had a game-long run of 26 yards, so he was able to consistently find running room throughout the night. The 2022 second-round pick also recorded his fourth rushing touchdown of the season on a two-yard run to cap off the first drive of the second half, and he'll take a stellar figure of 5.4 yards per carry into a Week 4 home matchup against the Saints on Sunday, Sept. 28.

Josh Allen: Highly efficient in Week 3 win
Thursday, September 18, 2025 11:29 PM

Allen completed 22 of 28 passes for 213 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions while adding four rushes for 25 yards in the Bills' 31-21 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night. He also fumbled once but recovered.

Allen finished with a sparkling 134.1 QB rating in the divisional win, which may have been more tightly contested than initially expected. As a result, the star signal-caller was appreciably more involved through the air than during a comfortable Week 2 win against the Jets, completing passes to nine different targets overall. Allen's first two scoring tosses went to tight ends Dalton Kincaid (20 yards) and Jackson Hawes (five yards), the latter a nifty heave while on the run. Allen closed out his night with a 15-yard strike to Khalil Shakir midway through the fourth quarter to snap a 21-21 tie, and he'll head into a Week 4 home date against the Saints on Sunday, Sept. 28 with an unblemished 5:0 TD:INT and career-best 69.7 percent completion rate through his first three contests.
