Colby Parkinson: Progressing in recovery
Monday, September 15, 2025 7:39 PM

Head coach Sean McVay told reporters Monday that Parkinson is making good progress in his recovery from a sprained AC joint in his shoulder, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

Parkinson's shoulder injury prevented him from playing against the Titans in Week 2. His practice participation over the next week will provide more clarity on his status heading into Sunday's game against the Eagles. Davis Allen and Terrance Ferguson will continue to see increased snaps at tight end behind Tyler Higbee for as long as Parkinson is sidelined.

Josiah Deguara: Back to practice squad
Monday, September 15, 2025 7:34 PM

Deguara reverted to the Cardinals' practice squad Monday, per the NFL transaction log.

Deguara was active for the first time in 2025 for Arizona's Week 2 matchup against the Panthers. He logged 14 snaps and also recorded one tackle.

John Bates: Unlikely to play Week 3
Monday, September 15, 2025 7:28 PM

Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said Monday that Bates (groin) is a "long shot" to play Sunday versus Las Vegas, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Bates was injured in the second quarter in last Thursday's loss to the Packers. Though he will have had extended time to recover, it doesn't appear the veteran tight end will be able to suit up Sunday. Ben Sinnott and Colson Yankoff could both see more snaps than usual against the Raiders, though Zach Ertz -- who logged 89 percent of Washington's defensive snaps Week 2 -- will likely continue to carry a heavy workload as the team's top tight end.

Joshua Karty: Makes two FGAs in Week 2
Monday, September 15, 2025 7:22 PM

Karty went 2-for-2 on field-goal tries and 3-for-4 on PATs in Sunday's 33-19 win over the Titans.

Karty was much more busy in Week 2, connecting on a 21-yard field goal in the second quarter before adding another 21-yard make to cap off the team's first possession in the third quarter. The kicker did not attempt a field goal in Week 1, and he has yet to be tasked with trying one from a challenging distance in 2025.

Chris Moore: Moves up to active roster
Monday, September 15, 2025 7:11 PM

The Commanders signed Moore from their practice squad to their active roster Monday.

Moore was elevated for Week 1 against the Giants and caught his only target for a 34-yard reception. He didn't get elevated for Week 2 but will now get a spot on the 53-man roster after Washington placed Austin Ekeler (Achilles) and Deatrich Wise (quadriceps) on injured reserve Monday. Moore will likely work as both a depth wideout and a special-teamer.

Parker Romo: Back to practice squad
Monday, September 15, 2025 7:06 PM

Romo reverted to the Falcons' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Romo was elevated to the Falcons' active roster for Sunday's game against the Vikings, when he went 5-for-5 on field-goal attempts and made his lone extra-point try. While he's back on the practice squad, head coach Raheem Morris said Monday that there is "about a 90 percent chance" that Romo is the Falcons' starting kicker for Week 3 against the Panthers. Younghoe Koo didn't make the trip to Minnesota, though Morris relayed that the team hasn't made a decision between Romo and Koo for the rest of the season. Even so, a strong performance in the Falcons' upcoming NFC South clash would give Romo the inside edge on Koo for kicking duties for the rest of the 2025 camapgin.

Patrick Ricard: Considered week-to-week
Monday, September 15, 2025 7:03 PM

Coach John Harbaugh said Ricard's (calf) recovery has been slower than the Ravens had hoped, and he's considered week-to-week, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Ricard has been sidelined for the past month and hasn't played in each of the Ravens' first two regular-season contests.

Jarquez Hunter: Makes debut on special teams
Monday, September 15, 2025 6:52 PM

Hunter logged six snaps on special teams during Sunday's 33-19 win against the Titans.

Hunter made his regular-season debut Sunday after being a healthy scratch in Week 1, but never got an opportunity to take the field on offense. Kyren Williams (17-66-0) and Blake Corum (5-44-1) handled the entire rushing load for the Rams, and given head coach Sean McVay's proclivity to feed Williams the vast majority of touches at running back over the past few seasons, Hunter will likely find it hard to make an impact this year barring an injury ahead of him on the depth chart.

Alex Bachman: Elevated for MNF
Monday, September 15, 2025 6:46 PM

The Raiders elevated Bachman from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Monday night's game against the Chargers.

It's the second elevated to the active roster for Bachman, who played two offensive snaps and failed to haul in his lone target during the Raiders' Week 1 win over the Patriots. The 29-year-old wideout will get another shot at playing time Monday and will likely see most of his snaps on special teams.

Blake Corum: Scores on goal-line run
Monday, September 15, 2025 6:45 PM

Corum rushed five times for 44 yards and a touchdown and returned three kicks for 80 yards during Sunday's 33-19 victory against the Titans.

Corum's first career touchdown in the NFL came on a one-yard rush, pushing his way into the end zone to solidify an already productive day for the former third-round pick. Corum picked up big yardage on most of his other runs, including a 15-yard scamper in the third quarter that set up a Davis Allen touchdown on the next play. Corum was on the field for 18 snaps on offense, a significant boost from last week's 10, and Kyren Williams struggled for the second straight week, managing just 66 yards rushing on 17 attempts. It'll be worth monitoring the snap counts of the duo as the season progresses, especially if Williams continues to be inefficient as a runner.
