Dameon Pierce: Inactive for MNF
Monday, September 15, 2025 5:37 PM Free Agent

Pierce is inactive for Monday night's game against the Buccaneers.

With Pierce a healthy scratch, Dare Ogunbowale, Woody Marks and British Brooks are available to work behind Nick Chubb in the Texans' Week 2 backfield. In Houston's season-opening 14-9 loss to the Rams, Pierce logged just seven snaps on offense en route to carrying three times for five yards and not hauling in his only passing target.

Eddy Pineiro: Misses PAT in Niners debut
Monday, September 15, 2025 5:34 PM Free Agent

Pineiro went 2-for-3 on extra-point attempts and made both of his field-goal tries during the 49ers' 26-21 win over the Saints on Sunday.

Pineiro made his 49ers' debut Sunday after the team cut Jake Moody this past Tuesday. Things didn't start well for Pineiro after he missed his first extra-point attempt late in the first quarter, but he settled in to make his two following PATs while connecting on field goals from 44 and 46 yards in the second and third quarters, respectively. A reliable boot will give head coach Kyle Shanahan more confidence to turn to Pineiro to get three points rather than being forced to keep the offense on the field for fourth downs in opposition territory.

Dameon Pierce: Expected to be inactive for MNF
Monday, September 15, 2025 4:59 PM Free Agent

Pierce is expected to be a healthy scratch for Monday's game against the Buccaneers, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Pierce played just 12 percent of offensive snaps Week 1, rushing three times for five yards while failing to catch his only target, and he's now expected to be held out entirely Week 2. That would pave the way for British Brooks to be active versus Tampa Bay, joining Dare Ogunbowale as a depth backfield option behind Nick Chubb, with Joe Mixon (foot) still on the reserve/non-football injury list. The Texans will make Pierce's status official at least 90 minutes ahead of Monday's 7:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Brock Wright: Finds paydirt in Week 2
Monday, September 15, 2025 4:54 PM Free Agent

Wright caught all three of his targets for 28 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 52-21 win over Chicago.

Wright reeled in an eight-yard touchdown from Jared Goff in the second quarter, reaching the end zone for the first time since Week 11 of the 2024 campaign. The tight end typically operates as a clear No. 2 option behind Sam LaPorta, and the three receptions were his highest total since playing the Cardinals in Week 3 of last season, a game in which LaPorta was limited by an undisclosed injury. Wright will remain an unappealing option for fantasy managers as long as LaPorta is active for the Lions.

Isaac TeSlaa: Secures impressive catch in victory
Monday, September 15, 2025 4:44 PM WWTDD?

TeSlaa caught his only target for 29 yards in Sunday's 52-21 win over the Bears.

TeSlaa was expected to see an increase in workload with the offense in Week 2, and he saw his offensive snap count rise from three snaps in Week 1 to 17 against Chicago on Sunday. The wide receiver once again provided a highlight reel catch, securing a leaping one-handed snag up the sideline for 29 yards to get the Lions inside the five-yard line with less than 20 seconds left in the first half. Through two games in 2025, TeSlaa has made two acrobatic catches on the two targets he's garnered, and he'll keep earning more opportunities if he continues to deliver results for Detroit. Fellow wide receiver Kalif Raymond saw his offensive snaps drop from 42 snaps in Week 1 to 32 against the Bears, so TeSlaa may already be challenging for the No. 3 role behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams.

Kalif Raymond: One catch in dominant win
Monday, September 15, 2025 4:34 PM Free Agent

Raymond caught his only target for 14 yards and turned one carry into nine yards in Sunday's 52-21 win over the Bears.

Raymond was once again quiet in Week 2, playing just 32 offensive snaps in Detroit's dominant victory. The wide receiver snagged his only catch of the day on the team's third possession of the contest, but he did garner 15 more offensive snaps than rookie Isaac TeSlaa, so Raymond does still appear to be the No. 3 option at his position behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams. With many mouths to feed on offense in Detroit, Raymond doesn't offer much weekly upside for fantasy managers, and his greatest impact for the team comes as a punt returner.

Jayden Daniels: Deemed 'day-to-day' by coach
Monday, September 15, 2025 3:47 PM Ram Chargers

Coach Dan Quinn said Monday that Daniels is considered "day-to-day" due to the knee injury that he suffered last Thursday at Green Bay, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Quinn added that Daniels underwent an MRI on Friday, and he's "already begun his return to play process with us. ... What does that mean for Sunday [against the Raiders]? I can't tell you that now. I'll share more when we get to Wednesday." After Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported earlier Monday that Daniels has a sprained knee, Quinn wouldn't go as far, only calling it a "knee injury," per Commanders writer Ben Standig. Wednesday's practice report will reveal whether Daniels handles any practice reps to start Week 3 prep, but if he isn't able to go this weekend, backup Marcus Mariota is on hand to lead the Commanders offense.

Daniel Bellinger: Gets zero targets Week 2
Monday, September 15, 2025 3:43 PM Free Agent

Bellinger did not receive any passing targets Sunday in an overtime defeat against Dallas.

Bellinger now has just one target over the first two weeks of the season. He actually played more snaps on special teams (20) than on offense (19) against the Cowboys, while starting tight end Theo Johnson logged a healthy 84 percent offensive snap share and gathered four receptions on five targets for 34 yards. Johnson has solidified his role as the Giants' top TE early in the campaign, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect Bellinger to have much value barring an injury that propels him up the pecking order.

Theo Johnson: Picks up production Week 2
Monday, September 15, 2025 3:38 PM Chezeybara S4

Johnson caught four of five targets for 34 yards in Sunday's overtime loss to the Cowboys.

After catching just one pass for five yards against Washington in Week 1, Johnson was much more productive Sunday. He actually looked to be in line for a bigger final line after a quick start, as he caught two passes for 20 yards on the team's opening drive. Regardless, this was a nice step in the right direction for Johnson, who was on the field for 56 of the team's 67 offensive snaps while backup TE Daniel Bellinger recorded more snaps on special teams (20) than on offense (19), as did No. 3 TE Chris Manhertz (14 and 17, respectively). Johnson will get a tough matchup in Week 3 against a Chiefs team that has surrendered just five receptions to tight ends through two weeks.

Adam Trautman: Hits pay dirt against Colts
Monday, September 15, 2025 3:37 PM Free Agent

Trautman caught all three of his targets for 10 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 29-28 loss to the Colts.

Trautman found the end zone for the first time this season while playing 62 percent of Denver's offensive snaps, the most of any Broncos tight end. The veteran's saw three targets from quarterback Bo Nix, while Evan Engram was targeted twice. It's possible Engram was being eased back into action following a calf injury he sustained in Week 1, but Trautman has now seen the most playing time of the entire position group in the first two games of the season. It's possible Trautman continues to lead in snap share at the position based on his blocking abilities, but he doesn't see enough work in the passing game to be consistently relevant for fantasy purposes. The 28-year-old will have his next opportunity to build upon his performance when the Broncos visit the Chargers in Week 3.
