George Holani: Signs ERFA tender
Monday, March 16, 2026 6:14 PM

Holani signed his exclusive rights free-agent tender with the Seahawks on Monday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Holani spent Weeks 13 through Seattle's divisional-round win against the 49ers on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury, but he did get some run on offense at times in blowouts or when injuries hit the backfield this past season, totaling 27 carries for 83 yards and one touchdown and six catches (on seven targets) for 49 yards in 13 appearances, including playoffs. Now that he's locked in for the 2026 campaign, he should be in the mix for touches Week 1 and beyond behind newcomer Emanuel Wilson with Kenneth Walker in Kansas City and Zach Charbonnet in recovery mode from the torn ACL that he suffered in the aforementioned contest versus San Francisco.

Bryce Oliver: Inks deal with Tennessee
Monday, March 16, 2026 6:07 PM

Oliver signed with the Titans on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The terms of the contract have yet to be announced, but the Youngstown State product will return to the Titans for a third consecutive season. Oliver appeared in 10 regular-season games for the Titans in 2024 but missed most of the 2025 season due to knee injury that caused him to land on IR in September. He has logged seven catches (on 10 targets) for 103 yards across 13 regular-season games in his NFL career and faces an uphill battle to earn offensive snaps in 2026, especially after Tennessee restructured Calvin Ridley's (fibula) contract and signed Wan'Dale Robinson to a four-year deal.

Christian Kirk: Joining forces with Niners
Monday, March 16, 2026 4:17 PM

Kirk is slated to sign a one-year, $6 million contract with San Francisco, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.

Kirk, who is heading into his age-30 season, will join a 49ers wide receiver corps that also houses free-agent signee Mike Evans, plus incumbents Ricky Pearsall and Demarcus Robinson, where he presumably pencils in for the No. 3 role. Across 13 regular-season appearances with the Texans in 2025, Kirk was limited to just a 28-239-1 line on 52 targets, but he flashed down the stretch, combining for 10 catches for 164 yards and two scores (15 targets) during the team's two postseason games. Although he faces crowded competition for targets, with RB Christian McCaffrey and TE George Kittle (Achilles) also present, Kirk could prove productive while paired with QB Brock Purdy in head coach Kyle Shanahan's offense, if a path to consistent opportunities materializes.

Justin Fields: Headed to Kansas City
Monday, March 16, 2026 11:07 AM

The Jets are slated to trade Fields (knee) to the Chiefs in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports

With Patrick Mahomes recovering from a torn ACL that he sustained Dec. 14, Fields should have an opportunity to work as Kansas City's QB1 this offseason, provided he's past the knee issue he dealt with at the end of the 2025 season. Beyond that, it's possible that Fields -- whose ability as a rusher boosts his fantasy utility -- will begin the 2026 campaign as the team's starter, a potential scenario that hinges on the pace of Mahomes' recovery. Per Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site, coach Andy Reid noted in February that Mahomes has been making good progress in that regard, while the star signal-caller previously noted that he wants to be ready for Week 1 yet acknowledged that he "can't predict what happens throughout the process," per ESPN.com.

Jeremy McNichols: Re-ups on one-year deal
Monday, March 16, 2026 10:59 AM

The Commanders re-signed McNichols to a one-year deal on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

McNichols played a key role on special teams while also handling a change-of-pace role for Washington last season, rushing 44 times for 221 yards and a score in addition to securing 25 of 31 targets for 196 yards across 17 regular-season appearances. He projects more realistically for a pure depth role in 2026, however, after the Commanders brought in a pair of capable pass catches in the form of Rachaad White and Jerome Ford (shoulder) to contribute alongside returning ballcarrier Jacory Croskey-Merritt.

Dallas Goedert: Inks one-year deal with Philly
Sunday, March 15, 2026 4:06 PM

Goedert and the Eagles agreed to terms on a one-year, $7 million contract Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The Eagles pushed Goedert's void date back to Monday, and the two sides have finally come to an agreement on a one-year deal. The contract agreement means that the Eagles will avoid a $20 million dead cap hit, per EJ Smith of The Philadelphia Inquirer. Questions still hover over the status of A.J. Brown heading into the 2026 season, but the Eagles will at least have a reliable target for Jalen Hurts in Goedert. The veteran tight end led Philadelphia last season with a career-high 11 touchdowns (across 15 regular-season games) and ranked third in catches and receiving yards behind Brown and DeVonta Smith. Goedert will lead the Eagles' tight end group that also consists of Grant Calcaterra, Johnny Mundt and Cameron Latu.

Devin Duvernay: Inks one-year deal with Arizona
Sunday, March 15, 2026 12:44 PM

Duvernay and the Cardinals agreed to terms on a one-year, $2.5 million contract Sunday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.

Duvernay served as the Bears' primary returner on both kickoffs and punts. He returned 40 kickoffs for 1,069 yards (fifth most in the NFL) and 21 punts for 231 yards across 17 regular-season games in 2025. Duvernay is unlikely to see many snaps on offense in Arizona but should reprise his return role with his new team.

Trey Lance: Back with Bolts
Saturday, March 14, 2026 10:54 PM

The Chargers signed Lance to a one-year contract worth up to $6.75 million Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Lance is returning for a second campaign in Los Angeles following stints with San Francisco and Dallas. As Justin Herbert's backup last season, Lance saw action in four games (including a Week 18 start versus Denver), completing 27 of 57 pass attempts for 226 yards and a 0:1 TD:INT while adding 17 carries for 85 yards. The mobile quarterback should be the frontrunner to back up Herbert.

Josh Johnson: Continuing career in Cincy
Saturday, March 14, 2026 10:49 PM

The Bengals signed Johnson to a contract Saturday.

Johnson will turn 40 in mid-May, but he's not yet ready to hang up his cleats. This will be his third stint with the Bengals, who are one of 14 teams he's spent time with during his NFL career. Johnson should have a path to working as the backup to QB Joe Burrow, as Sean Clifford is the only other QB currently signed to Cincinnati's roster following the departure of Jake Browning to Tampa Bay.

Kene Nwangwu: Staying put in New York
Saturday, March 14, 2026 10:37 PM

The Jets are signing Nwangwu to a one-year, $2 million contract worth up to $3 million with incentives, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Nwangwu had a small role in New York's offense as a depth RB last year, recording 49 yards on 13 carries in 12 games. However, he was a key player on special teams, logging 604 yards and one touchdown on 18 kickoff returns. Nwangwu has recorded five TDs as a kick returner through his first five campaigns in the league, and that should again be his primary role in 2026.
