Isiah Pacheco: Gains 56 yards on 10 touches
Tuesday, October 7, 2025 12:24 AM

Pacheco carried the ball seven times for 36 yards while adding three receptions for 20 yards in Monday's 31-28 loss to the Jaguars.

Pacheco excelled on a per-carry basis (5.1 YPC) while garnering the most targets out of the backfield for Kansas City on Monday. That's where the good news ends, as fellow RB Kareem Hunt found the end zone twice on his seven rushing attempts in the loss. Pacheco's fantasy value continues to be doused by the presence of his veteran teammate in an even timeshare, a scenario that should continue repeating itself against the Lions on Sunday.

Travis Kelce: Saves best for MNF
Tuesday, October 7, 2025 12:18 AM

Kelce finished with seven receptions on eight targets for 61 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 31-28 loss to the Jaguars.

Kelce finally put it all together for his managers in Week 5, producing his best fantasy score through five starts. The 35-year-old finished with a season-high seven receptions while scoring his second touchdown of the campaign. Even with his slow start to the season, Kelce is still providing enough of a floor for fantasy managers with a 22-243-2 receiving line in 2025. Up next for the Chiefs will be a home tilt against a hot Lions squad on Sunday Night Football in Week 6.

Xavier Worthy: Gains 51 yards on MNF
Tuesday, October 7, 2025 12:10 AM

Worthy (shoulder/ankle) corralled six of nine targets for 42 yards and took his only carry for nine yards in Monday's 31-28 loss to the Jaguars.

Worthy popped up on the Week 5 injury report after being a full participant in practice after experiencing swelling in his ankle on the flight to Jacksonville. The speedy wideout was able to finish Monday's loss in good health, but it is worth noting that he left the contest briefly to have his ankle examined after getting tackled on one of his six receptions. The injury scare comes just one week after Worthy returned from a shoulder injury that cost him two games of action. Kansas City's offense is clearly more explosive when Worthy is on the field, so managers are hoping for a clean bill of health heading into a potential shootout against the Lions on Sunday Night Football in Week 6.

Hollywood Brown: Four catches in MNF loss
Tuesday, October 7, 2025 12:06 AM

Brown brought in four of eight targets for 48 yards in the Chiefs' 31-28 loss to the Jaguars on Monday night.

Brown tied for second on the Chiefs in targets while checking in third in both receptions and receiving yards. The busy night for the veteran wideout was par for the course thus far this season, as Brown has no fewer than five targets in any of his first five contests. Brown also recorded his first catch of at least 20 yards since Week 1 on Monday night, and he'll continue to profile as a key target for Patrick Mahomes in a Week 6 Sunday night showdown at home against the Lions.

Travis Hunter: Busy two-way performance Monday
Tuesday, October 7, 2025 12:00 AM

Hunter brought in all three targets for 64 yards and recorded two solo tackles and a pass defensed in the Jaguars' 31-28 win over the Chiefs on Monday night.

Hunter set a new career high in receiving yards for the second straight game, accomplishing the feat Monday night with the help of a game-long 44-yard catch. The rookie second overall pick also continued his work on defense, posting multiple tackles for the third time this season while also recording the second pass breakup of his nascent career. Hunter has now recorded one reception of 20-plus yards in each of his last three contests, and he'll look to continue his gradual ascension on offense in a Week 6 home clash with the Seahawks.

Kareem Hunt: Feasts around the goal line Monday
Tuesday, October 7, 2025 12:00 AM

Hunt rushed seven times for 49 yards and two touchdowns while catching his only target for eight yards in Monday's 31-28 loss to Jacksonville.

Three of Hunt's seven carries came from five yards or closer to the opponent's goal line, and he punched two of them in successfully to finish as the Chiefs' top fantasy RB in Week 5. Co-starter Isiah Pacheco also received seven carries while seeing two more targets as a receiver, but the latter's lack of use in the red zone proved to be the difference Monday. Hunt is now up to three touchdowns on the year, but he leaves much to be desired as a fantasy asset in games he is held out of the end zone. The 29-year-old checks in as a touchdown-dependent flex option against the Lions on Sunday Night Football in Week 6.

Trevor Lawrence: Three total TDs in win
Monday, October 6, 2025 11:52 PM

Lawrence completed 18 of 25 passes for 221 yards with one touchdown and one interception while adding 10 carries for 54 yards and two more scores in the Jaguars' 31-28 win over the Chiefs on Monday night. He also lost a fumble.

Lawrence put the Jaguars on his shoulders for the majority of the night despite a critical early second-quarter fumble at Kansas City's one-yard line, helping spearhead a comeback from an early 14-0 deficit with a three-yard touchdown pass to Parker Washington and the first of two rushing scores to knot the game back up just before the halfway point of the third quarter. Lawrence then saved his best for the most important part of the contest, leading a seven-play, 60-yard game-winning march that he capped off with an eventful one-yard touchdown run which began with him stumbling twice due to having his foot stepped on by an offensive lineman as he dropped back. Lawrence is still a work in progress in head coach Liam Coen's offense, but he completed a season-best 72.0 percent of his passes Monday night ahead of a Week 6 home matchup against a Seahawks defense that allowed the Buccaneers' Baker Mayfield to complete 29 of 33 passes for 379 yards and two TDs in Seattle's Week 5 loss.

Travis Etienne: Tallies 58 total yards in win
Monday, October 6, 2025 11:47 PM

Etienne rushed 12 times for 49 yards and brought in three of four targets for nine yards in the Jaguars' 31-28 win over the Chiefs on Monday night.

Etienne logged his lowest carry total of the campaign, which also led to a new low-water mark in rushing yards. The talented back also failed to record a double-digit-yardage run for the first time in five contests, but he reemerged in the passing game to an extent after mustering just a single reception for one yard on four targets in the previous pair of contests. Etienne draws another challenging matchup when the Seahawks pay a visit for a Week 6 interconference matchup Sunday afternoon.

Patrick Mahomes: Throws costly pick-six in loss
Monday, October 6, 2025 11:42 PM

Mahomes completed 29 of 41 pass attempts for 318 yards, one touchdown and one interception while taking six carries for 60 yards and another score in Monday's 31-28 loss to the Jaguars.

The highlight that will make the rounds for Mahomes following Monday's loss will unfortunately be the interception he threw at the Jaguars' one-yard line that LB Devin Lloyd returned 99 yards the other way for a touchdown. The Chiefs' signal-caller had a strong fantasy night aside from his blunder in the third quarter, eclipsing the 300-yard mark as a passer for the first time this season. Mahomes also finished as Kansas City's leading rusher while scoring his third touchdown on the ground in five starts, just one shy of his career-best mark of four set back in 2022. The 29-year-old will have to move past Monday's sloppy loss in order to prepare for another primetime showdown in Week 6 when the Chiefs host the Lions on Sunday Night Football.

Brian Thomas: Team-high yardage total in win
Monday, October 6, 2025 11:38 PM

Thomas secured four of six targets for 80 yards in the Jaguars' 31-28 win over the Chiefs on Monday night.

Thomas finished as the Jaguars' leader in receptions, receiving yards and targets, holding the top spot in the middle category for the second consecutive week. His final catch of the night was the most critical, as he recorded a 33-yard grab on Jacksonville's game-winning drive and then drew a pass interference penalty that wiped out an interception four plays later. Thomas' yardage tally was also a new season high for the second-year wideout, who's yet to have his first true breakout effort in head coach Liam Coen's offense but has put together his two best all-around performances this season in the last pair of contests. Thomas will take a 16-244-0 line into a Week 6 home matchup against a Seahawks squad that just conceded a 163-yard, one-touchdown day to the Buccaneers' Emeka Egbuka on Sunday.
