Jarrett caught on with the Steelers on the practice squad in early September after failing to make the Buccaneers' 53-man roster at the end of training camp. The 24-year-old wideout will explore his next opportunities and look to sign with a team in need of pass-catching depth.

The Chiefs released Presley from their practice squad Tuesday, Charles Goldman of AtoZSports.com reports.

Presley spent the preseason with the Chiefs after signing with the team in late July. He caught two passes for 20 yards across three exhibitions. The wide receiver will try to find an opportunity elsewhere.

The NFL lifted Stoops' two-game suspension Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

If Stoops were to have signed with a team, he would have been required to miss two games to serve a suspension for violating the NFL's policy regarding performance-enhancing drugs. Now that the suspension has been lifted, Stoops will be able to sign with a team and contribute to them immediately. He spent the entire 2024 season with the Rams' practice squad and was cut by the team at the end of training camp in late August.

Washington (thumb) was a limited participant at practice Tuesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Waller (hip) was a limited participant at the Dolphins' practice Tuesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Waller is considered unlikely to play Thursday night against the Bills, but his ability to practice in any capacity Tuesday is a step in the right direction. Head coach Mike McDaniel said Tuesday in reference to Waller and running back Jaylen Wright (knee), that the team will "see how the rest of the week goes," and that "they're putting their best foot forward." Waller will likely have to set his sights on making his Dolphins debut in Week 4 on Sept. 29 versus the Jets on Monday Night Football.

Hodgins failed to make the 49ers' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he'll get a new opportunity with the Giants, who he played with from 2022 to 2024. He would be a top candidate to be elevated from the practice squad to the active roster if any member of the Giants' wide receiver corps were to miss time due to injury, illness or suspension.
