Emeka Egbuka: Another TD in MNF win
Monday, September 15, 2025 10:29 PM SIMBA

Egbuka brought in four of seven targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' 20-19 win over the Texans on Monday night.

The rookie first-round pick had a relatively quiet latter portion of the game, but not before making his mark with what was already his third trip to the end zone through two NFL games. Egbuka scored on a nifty 15-yard catch and run in the second quarter, a play that accounted for more than half his receiving yardage on the night. The Texans, like the Falcons in Week 1, generally did a good job keeping plays in front of them, but Egbuka could benefit from the heavy attention Sauce Gardner is likely to bestow on Mike Evans in a Week 3 home matchup against the Jets on Sunday afternoon.

Baker Mayfield: More late-game heroics Monday night
Monday, September 15, 2025 10:25 PM Air Muffins

Mayfield completed 25 of 38 passes for 215 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions while adding three carries for 33 yards in the Buccaneers' 20-19 win over the Texans on Monday night. He also committed a fumble recovered by Tampa Bay.

Mayfield was in danger of a second straight sub-200-yard performance to open the season, but the veteran signal-caller came alive on Tampa Bay's game-winning drive. Mayfield took the Bucs a total of 80 yards on 11 plays in just over two minutes, completing seven of nine passes while adding a 15-yard scramble before Rachaad White capped off the march with a game-winning two-yard touchdown run. In the second quarter, Mayfield also connected with Emeka Egbuka on a 15-yard scoring pass for the rookie's third touchdown over the first two games. Despite completing just 60.0 percent of his passes through the first pair of contests, Mayfield will also take a sparkling 5:0 TD:INT into a Week 3 home matchup against the Jets on Sunday afternoon.

Mike Evans: Another five-catch tally in win
Monday, September 15, 2025 10:17 PM SIMBA

Evans secured five of 11 targets for 56 yards in the Buccaneers' 20-19 win over the Texans on Monday night.

Evans comfortably led the Buccaneers in targets and also set the pace in receiving yards, albeit by a smaller margin. The Texans did a good job overall disrupting the rhythm between Evans and Baker Mayfield, leading to Evans' second straight five-catch, sub-60-yard effort to open the season. The successful QB-WR duo will look author their first breakout performance of 2025 when the Buccaneers host the Jets in a Week 3 matchup on Sunday afternoon.

Bucky Irving: Exceeds 120 total yards in win
Monday, September 15, 2025 10:14 PM Hammer 2025 - 2

Irving rushed 17 times for 71 yards and brought in all six targets for 50 yards in the Buccaneers' 20-19 win over the Texans on Monday night.

Backfield mate Rachaad White actually took the first touch of the night for the Buccaneers, but Irving went on to gain 16 yards on his first two carries later in the opening possession. The Texans were able to clamp down on Irving more consistently as the game unfolded, but the versatile second-year back helped make up for some inefficiency with his work as a receiver. Irving particularly came up big on Tampa Bay's game-winning drive, recording four of his catches for a total of 39 yards. White would go on to punch in the game-winning score, but Irving still outpaced him by seven carries and four targets. The duo should continue in a timeshare that clearly tilts in Irving's favor during a Week 3 home matchup against the Jets on Sunday afternoon.

Chase McLaughlin: Misses another kick in Week 2
Monday, September 15, 2025 10:12 PM Static-X

McLaughlin missed his only field-goal attempt and made two PATs in Monday's 20-19 win over the Texans.

McLaughlin once again connected with the upright in Week 2, missing a 38-yard field goal in the third quarter. The kicker has now missed two field goals and one extra-point try over the first two games of the year, and he'll look to get back on track in the team's Week 3 matchup with the Jets on Sunday.

Ka'imi Fairbairn: Connects on two FGAs in Week 2
Monday, September 15, 2025 10:05 PM SIMBA

Fairbairn went 2-for-2 on field-goal tries and made one PAT in Monday's 20-19 loss to the Buccaneers.

Fairbairn made a 35-yard field goal in the first quarter before later adding a 53-yard make in the fourth. The kicker has now opened the season having gone 5-for-5 on field-goal attempts, including three makes from 50-plus yards, over two games.

Kylen Granson: Second straight game with one catch
Monday, September 15, 2025 9:53 PM Free Agent

Granson pulled in his lone target for five yards in Sunday's victory over the Chiefs.

Granson was elevated from No. 3 to No. 2 tight end in the absence of Dallas Goedert (knee), which saw his offensive snap count jump from 17 to 33. He still finished with just a single catch, though, so it would likely take injuries to both Goedert and Calcaterra (who also caught just one pass Sunday) forGranson to have a shot at fantasy relevance.

Grant Calcaterra: Held to one catch as top tight end
Monday, September 15, 2025 9:29 PM Free Agent

Calcaterra was elevated to the Eagles' No. 1 tight end Sunday against the Chiefs due to Dallas Goedert's knee injury but finished with just one catch for six yards.

Calcaterra outsnapped fellow tight end Kyle Granson 53-34, leaving little doubt that he remains Goedert's top deputy. Goedert has missed an average of five games per season since 2022, so that role should continue to lead to a handful of starts for Calcaterra, but those starts won't necessarily lead to many targets. He was targeted just twice in Week 2.

Jahan Dotson: Just one catch in Week 2
Monday, September 15, 2025 9:13 PM Free Agent

Dotson was held to one catch for four yards in Sunday's win over the Chiefs.

Dotson was the Eagles' leading receiver in Week 1, catching three passes for 59 yards, but his Week 2 performance is probably more in line with what can be expected going forward. Outside of a Week 18 game in which the Eagles rested their starters, Dotson averaged less than a catch per game last year, and with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith still ahead of him on the depth chart, that's unlikely to change.

Tank Bigsby: No offensive snaps in Eagles debut
Monday, September 15, 2025 8:53 PM SIMBA

Bigsby did not see the field for any offensive snaps in his Eagles debut Sunday against the Chiefs.

Acquired from the Jaguars for a fifth- and sixth-round draft pick at the start of the week, Bigsby was not yet part of the Eagles' offensive gameplan. His only snaps came on special teams. He'll compete with Will Shipley (ribs) and AJ Dillon for the backup role behind Saquon Barkley once he's more integrated with his new team.
