The 2020 Championship Rounds Are Here

Sprints Will Start Tomorrow

3-Week Championship Round Will Decide $5 Million in Prizes

Congrats to all of the teams in both the FFPC Main Event and the Footballguys Players Championship this past weekend that were able to snare their individual league crown. I also wish the best of luck to all playoff teams in the ancillary, VP Money, dynasty and satellite leagues this coming week as well.

With Week 14 upon us, every single classic format FFPC and FPC league has now entered the playoff stage of the season, so it's going to be a fun three-week ride leading into the holidays. The FFPC, FPC, Consolation, and Toilet Bowl leader boards are all updated as well, so you can see where you currently stack up among the rest of the field.

This week begins the most thrilling three weeks of fantasy football. More than $5,000,000 will be awarded in the FFPC's two major tournaments alone. Weeks 14 through 16 will determine the $500,000 FFPC Main Event winner and the Footballguys Players Championship $500,000 winner, as well as countless other prize winners. Championship round winners will be determined based on each team's combined total points scored during weeks 14, 15 and 16 added to its one-game average from the regular season. Good luck to you all!'

The World Famous Challenge Returns

Out of this year's Championship Round? Not to worry! Registrations are live for the 2020-21 World Famous FFPC Playoff Challenge. Don't forget that you'll be able to apply your regular season winnings in your account right now to the Playoff Challenge as well.

NEW THIS YEAR: The Challenge will have 12 starting roster spots rather than the 10 starting roster spots in a typical FFPC starting lineup. The two added starting roster spots will both be FLEX spots (Flex can be RB, WR or TE). This change has been made to account for the two additional NFL Playoff teams for the 2020/21 NFL season. With fourteen total playoff teams and 12 starting roster spots, each entrant will need to fade two teams, which has always been the case for the FFPC Playoff Challenge.

The main details of the Challenge are listed below:

  • Entry fee: $200 per team
  • Contest capped at a maximum of 6,250 entries
  • $500,000 Grand Prize
  • $1,092,250 in guaranteed prizes paying down to 700th place
  • Contest runs from the start of the NFL playoffs thru the Super Bowl
  • Each team consists of 12 players in an FFPC starting roster format (plus two additional flexes)
  • Each team chooses from 14 playoff teams but only 1 per team
  • All rosters will be locked on Saturday, January 9th at 4:35 pm ET
  • No roster adjustments will be allowed even for games starting later
  • For more details, see the full rules and payout structure on the contest page linked right here.

Last Chance To Save at Dynasty Depot

Because of the huge response, the Dynasty Depot, they are extending the LEAGUEMATES promo code through this Sunday, December 13th at 11:59pm EST. If you are an FFPC dynasty fantasy football player, don't miss out on your chance to buy and sell Dynasty Teams at a huge discount!

Regarding Stat Changes & Prizes

Please remember that stats are not final until Friday, and Elias may issue changes as they do weekly. If this should occur, stat changes may impact head-to-head results and playoff seeds, which will then be adjusted retroactively, even though Week 14 games will begin tomorrow.

We encourage everyone to set their lineups for Week 14, especially if you have been involved in a close head-to-head game or missed the playoffs by the slimmest of margins. Once the stats are finalized on Friday, all Week 13 prizes will be placed in your accounts or on your MyTeams pages this weekend.

Ramaker and Lakhani on FFPC Podcasts

On the latest Rotoviz Radio‘s The High-Stakes Lowdown podcast, I sit down with Rick Ramaker, a player who has the 85th place team in the 2020 Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC) Main Event and the 21st place team in the 2020 Footballguys Players Championship this year. In this episode, we talk about whether Devin Singletary is the back to own in Buffalo, which Titans receiver makes a better start in Week 14 and more.

You can check out a new episode of The High-Stakes Lowdown every Thursday during the NFL season on Rotoviz.com or wherever you get your podcasts. I’d also encourage you to check out all of the other great podcasts that Rotoviz Radio has to offer, too.

Then on Friday, yours truly and Ferrell Elliott talk to Zak Lakhani, the regular season points champ in the 2020 FPC competition. We'll ask him about what he did differently on his high stakes teams this season, Logan Thomas' start-ability and more. As always, we also answer your calls, tweets, emails and more all on The High Stakes Fantasy Football Hour!

The High Stakes Fantasy Football Hour normally airs Friday nights at 10/9c, and the next episode can be heard here. You can hang out with the high stakes players in the show’s chat room if you want to listen live. You can also access full on-demand streaming available for listening anytime via a variety of apps including the HSFF Hour website, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Amazon Alexa, Stitcher Radio, TuneIn Radio, Spreaker, Podchaser, Audioburst, Breaker, Castbox, Overcast, PodBean, Pocket Casts, Radio Public, Podcast Addict and Anchor on your iPhone or Android device as well.

Waivers For Classics & Dynasties

Owners that made the playoffs in FFPC Classic Satellite and Dynasty leagues still have waivers for Weeks 14, 15 and 16. Please remember to place your bids by tonight at 10 p.m. ET. Waivers will also be processed on Sunday as well. Again, this is only for FFPC Classic Satellite and Dynasty leagues. The waiver wires for the Main Event and the Footballguys Players Championship are locked for the remainder of the season.

And for a look at last week's waiver details, check out the results at the link to Fantasy Mojo below:
