Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said after Wednesday's practice that Darnold (glute) is "on a good track" to play Sunday against the Commanders, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

After suffering a right glute strain early in the Seahawks' season-opening win over the Patriots, Darnold sat out the team's Week 2 win in Arizona, but that could end up being the extent of his absence. Darnold returned to practice Wednesday as a limited participant, splitting first-team reps with Drew Lock. Macdonald noted that Darnold's workload will be ramped up as the week progresses, and if the 29-year-old responds well to the added reps, he could get the green light to start Sunday in Washington. The Seahawks are likely to wait until after Friday's practice concludes before formally deciding on a Week 3 starter.

Darnold (glute) officially was a limited practice participant Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Prior to Darnold returning to practice Wednesday, head coach Mike Macdonald told Brady Henderson of ESPN.com that the quarterback wouldn't take every rep, his activity level is expected to increase as the week continues, and the team will make a decision between Darnold and Drew Lock as the Week 3 starter by Friday. Darnold then was seen throwing while stretching during the media-access portion of Wednesday's session, per Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune. Darnold is seeking his first game action since straining his glute on Seattle's fifth offensive snap of the season on Sept. 9 against the Patriots.

The Seahawks quarterback has been trending toward a quicker return than initially expected after coach Mike Macdonald said Sunday that Darnold was ahead of schedule in his recovery. With the QB set to get back on the practice field, he hasn't yet been ruled out for Week 3 against Washington. Darnold's level of practice participation during the week should provide more clarity on whether he's on track to return Sunday, or whether Drew Lock will be in line for another start.

Williams rushed 12 times for 30 yards and brought in three of four targets for 20 yards in the Cowboys' 37-20 win over the Commanders on Sunday.

The Commanders' front more than held its own against the Cowboys' offensive line, leading Williams to scratch and claw for yardage while Dak Prescott carved up Washington's defense through the air. Williams still played a clear lead role despite the modest amount of rush attempts, and he was once again an important complementary option in the passing game. Williams has another tough assignment on tap in Week 3, as the Cowboys welcome in the Ravens next Sunday.

Williams rushed 12 times for 41 yards and a touchdown while catching all five of his targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-20 loss to the Giants.

Williams scored a one-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter and added a 17-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter. He was called for a 15-yard taunting penalty on his touchdown catch, and Brandon Aubrey missed the ensuing PAT to keep Dallas' deficit at eight points with 5:21 remaining, though that miss proved moot after the Giants proceeded to eat up the remainder of the game clock on the ensuing possession. No Cowboys teammate had more than two carries in Sunday's loss, so Williams is locked in as the primary option in Dallas' backfield heading into a Week 2 home game against the Commanders.

Moore (shoulder) "felt great" after getting in a limited practice Wednesday, Matt Parrino of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports.

Moore did not take contact Wednesday and officially did not get in a full session, but he was optimistic about his status when asked about it afterward. While Moore is taking the positive path and there is reason to believe he will suit up Sunday against the Chargers, it remains to be seen if he will do so.

Moore (shoulder) was spotted participating in Wednesday's practice while wearing a red non-contact jersey, Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News reports.

Moore made an early exit from the Bills' Week 2 win over the Lions due to an AC joint sprain, logging just 23 snaps while finishing with no targets and one carry for minus-1 yard during his limited time on the field. Though he appears set to go down as a limited practice participant on the Bills' first Week 3 injury report, Moore's presence on the field is generally a positive sign for his chances of suiting up Sunday versus the Chargers.

The Bills are treating Moore as day-to-day after he was diagnosed with an AC joint sprain in his shoulder after exiting Thursday's 41-31 win over the Lions, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Moore carried once for minus-1 yard and didn't draw a target on his 23 snaps before exiting Thursday's contest late in the second quarter. Keon Coleman (55 snaps, 6-63-0 line on six targets) saw a boosted profile on offense in Moore's absence, but Coleman could fade into more of a tertiary role in the passing game if Moore is able to play through the shoulder injury during the Bills' Week 3 matchup with the Chargers. Rapoport relays that Moore is expected to practice next week, and the Bills will see how his shoulder responds before his status for next Sunday's contest is clarified.

Godwin caught all three of his targets for 46 yards in Tampa Bay's 23-19 loss to the Browns on Sunday. He added 12 rushing yards on one attempt.

Godwin's three targets were seventh on the team and "good" for just an 8.8 percent share on a day Baker Mayfield attempted 34 passes. However, the veteran wide receiver's 37 routes were just one fewer than Emeka Egbuka for the team lead. Godwin has suffered several lower-body injuries to this point in his career, it's becoming a concern that he may just not have it anymore at 30.5 years old. Through two games, he has seven catches for 86 scoreless yards and 15 rushing yards.

Godwin caught all four of his targets for 40 yards in the Bucs' 33-27 loss to the Bengals on Sunday. He added three rushing yards on one carry.

Godwin's 32 routes on Baker Mayfield's 36 dropbacks were second on the team behind Emeka Egbuka, who ran 33 routes, and Godwin was lined up in the slot 54.3 percent of the time, while Egbuka and Ted Hurst mainly played on the outside. Godwin was targeted just four times, however, finishing fourth on the team. Now 30 years old with multiple serious lower-body injuries in his career, it's fair to wonder how much explosiveness Godwin has left. He's a low-floor WR3/4 in fantasy ahead of next Sunday's date with the Browns.

Mevis missed his only field-goal try and made all four of his PATs in Monday night's 28-6 win over the Giants.

Mevis went without a field-goal attempt in Week 1 against the 49ers, but he got his first chance as time expired in the first half Monday, pushing a 43-yard try wide left. The kicker will have more opportunities moving forward, and he'll look to secure his first field-goal make Sunday against the Broncos.

Mevis made his lone extra-point try and didn't attempt any field goals in the Rams' Week 1 loss to San Francisco.

The Rams offense was held in check by a spirited San Francisco defense, and Mevis' only opportunity to kick came following Los Angeles' lone touchdown early in the second quarter. Mevis also didn't see a ton of FG tries during his rookie campaign last year, but that was largely because Los Angeles was so adept at getting into the end zone -- he went 12-for-13 on field-goal attempts and 39-for-39 on PAT tries across nine regular-season games. The Rams offense figures to be much more productive most weeks, so Mevis should see more frequent scoring opportunities moving forward.

Willis completed 14 of 23 passes for 197 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 35-13 loss to the 49ers. He also rushed twice for six yards.

Willis completed 15 of 27 passes for 200 yards with no touchdowns and one interception while adding six carries for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' 27-13 loss to the Raiders on Sunday. He also committed a fumble recovered by Miami.

Gainwell rushed two times for 10 yards in Sunday's 23-19 loss to the Browns. He added three catches for five yards on four targets.

Gainwell rushed five times for 15 yards and brought in his lone target for three yards in the Buccaneers' 33-27 loss to the Bengals on Sunday. He also returned one kickoff for 22 yards.

Lemon caught his lone target for 14 yards while turning one carry into minus-5 yards during the Eagles' 24-20 win over the Titans on Sunday.

Lemon caught three of four targets for minus-five yards in Sunday's 24-22 win over the Commanders.

Jennings (personal) was not listed on the Vikings' injury report Wednesday.

Jennings (not injury related - personal) won't play Sunday in Chicago.

Jennings did not bring in his lone target during the Vikings' 39-22 win over the Packers on Sunday.

Ferguson caught all four of his targets for 43 yards and two touchdowns in the Cowboys' 37-20 win over the Commanders on Sunday.
