Reports indicate that the Bears want more opportunities for their young back, especially as starter D'Andre Swift has struggled. In recent games, the Bears have experimented with different carry splits among Swift, Khalil Herbert, and Johnson. Given their current ranking of 31st in both yards per game and yards per attempt, there's nowhere to go but up. Sunday's matchup against a Rams run defense that ranks 25th could be the perfect chance for improvement. The Bears missed a good opportunity in Week 3 against a vulnerable Colts defense, raising concerns about Shane Waldron's run scheme and its adaptability to the available talent. Fields is going to make his fourth straight start against the Colts, with Wilson most likely being inactive again. Wilson has no business being rostered in single-QB leagues at this point.

He has been designated as the Steelers' emergency third-string quarterback, making him eligible to play only if both Justin Fields and Kyle Allen get injured. Wilson had been listed as questionable after practicing in a limited capacity on Friday. The veteran quarterback still has not yet made his Steelers debut thanks to this lingering calf issue. Even when Wilson becomes healthy enough to play again, Fields should remain Pittsburgh's QB1 until he gives head coach Mike Tomlin reasons to make a switch. This is good news for fantasy managers as Fields has more fantasy upside than Wilson, anyway.

Jones further noted that Justin Fields remains in line to start on Sunday when the Steelers face the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3. Wilson was initially named the team's starting QB back in training camp but suffered from calf tightness in the first week of September, pushing Fields to the top of the depth chart. While the Steelers have won the first two games with Fields leading the offense, he has averaged just 136.5 passing yards and 42 yards on the ground. Fields remains a high-end QB2, given his rushing upside this weekend, if he gets the starting nod.

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby (shoulder) was limited in the team's first practice of the week on Wednesday. Bigsby was also dealing with a shoulder injury last week but managed to suit up in Monday night's blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills. In that contest, the 23-year-old really didn't have much of a shot to contribute with the Jaguars forced to quickly abandon the running game. He finished with only two carries for nine yards and has 14 rushing attempts for 82 yards (5.9 yards per carry) in three games so far in 2024. Bigsby has not been targeted at all in the passing game. Bigsby should be fine to play in Week 4 against the division-rival Houston Texans as the Jags go for their first win of the year. Jacksonville wants to get Bigsby more work alongside Travis Etienne Jr., but so far their offense just hasn't cooperated.

Bigsby played on 32% of the offensive snaps in the Week 1 loss to the Miami Dolphins but didn't play a single offensive snap in last week's loss to the Cleveland Browns. He had 12 carries for 73 yards in the season-opener and should be involved again in the backfield on Monday after getting injured last week. The Jags hinted all offseason that Bigsby would have a bigger complementary role in 2024.

Bigsby was limited in practice all week due to a lingering shoulder issue that he suffered last week. At first, Bigsby was considered active for Week 3, but now has been downgraded to questionable on the injury report. Bigsby rushed 12 times for 73 yards in the season opener, but saw little action in Week 2 due to his injury. Travis Etienne Jr. is the lead back, but it seems like the Jaguars do want to involve Bigsby as well. Bigsby will fall into the RB3 conversation if cleared for Monday's game.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (ankle) was forced from his team's 31-29 loss to the Minnesota Vikings due to an ankle injury near the end of the first quarter. Watson ended the matchup without a catch on one target before his exit. After the game, head coach Matt LaFleur spoke with the 25-year-old wideout, and he said, "he told me he thought it was just a sprain." A sprain would be the best-case scenario for the former Bison, but whether it's of the low or high-ankle sprain variety is unclear. We're sure to get an update on him over the coming days, but you'd have to think he's at least a candidate for limited practice this week after having to get carted off the field. With the former second-round pick on the sideline, wide receivers Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Romeo Doubs, and tight end Tucker Kraft all racked up at least eight targets. If Watson is forced to miss time, it's likely that quartet would benefit the most from his absence. The Pack will travel to LA next Sunday to face the Rams in Week 5.
