San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) was rested on Wednesday in the first practice of the week before being limited in Thursday's session. McCaffrey isn't in any real danger of not playing in Week 12 against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, but the 49ers will continue to take it easy on him during the practice week after he missed the first nine weeks of the season due to bilateral Achilles tendonitis. The 28-year-old hasn't scored for his fantasy managers in his first two games of the season, but he has gone over 100 scrimmage yards in both contests, which counts for something. In addition, backup Jordan Mason has been a distant No. 2 in terms of usage. The Packers defense has been middle of the pack this year in terms of fantasy points allowed per game to RBs, but they've given up the fourth-most fantasy points to the position in the last three weeks. CMC is a must-start RB1.

Fantasy managers should monitor his status throughout the week in case, but he should be expected to return to practice in some capacity on Thursday. The 28-year-old should be viewed as a high-end RB1 for the remainder of the season, given his integral role on one of the best offensive units in the sport.

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey disappointed again during a 20-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Santa Clara on Sunday. The All-Pro out of Stanford took 19 carries for 79 yards rushing and four catches of five targets for 27 yards in the passing game. It's almost shocking to see McCaffrey fail to reach the end zone for the second consecutive game since returning from his long injury absence. McCaffrey only had three such games total last year (16 starts). It's hard to say whether McCaffrey's conditioning, opponents' defensive game-planning, or personnel changes to San Francisco's offense are to blame. The Niners' rushing attack certainly missed George Kittle (hamstring) today and his knack for springing CMC to long runs. McCaffrey's 4.2 yards per carry against a vulnerable Seattle run defense would have ranked as his fourth-lowest single-game average of 2023. At least McCaffrey appeared to stay healthy from start to finish. McCaffrey's next chance comes against the Packers at Lambeau Field in Week 12.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) recorded seven receptions for 70 yards in his return from an MCL sprain in Week 11. In a tough matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, Metcalf was able to deliver a solid day from an efficiency perspective as he finished second on the team with nine targets. Metcalf continued his solid season. Metcalf and fellow wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba accounted for most of the Seahawks' receiving yards and have formed a relatively dynamic duo in 2024. Although Smith-Njigba earned more targets in this game, Metcalf's nine were his fourth-most of the season. Metcalf should continue to deliver in fantasy as he gets more comfortable in his return from injury. He has a chance to go on a nice run over the next few weeks with the Arizona Cardinals and the struggling defense of the New York Jets on the docket. Metcalf should have a safe floor as a WR2 in fantasy with major upside to finish as a WR1 in any given week.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) practiced in full all week and has been cleared to face the division-rival San Francisco 49ers in Week 11 on Sunday. It's excellent news for a Seahawks offense that struggled in the two games that Metcalf missed leading up to their Week 10 bye. Metcalf had been sidelined since suffering an MCL sprain in the Week 7 win over the Atlanta Falcons but will be back in action as quarterback Geno Smith's top target in the passing game. Fantasy managers should ignore the fact that the 26-year-old only caught three of 11 targets for 48 yards and no touchdowns in the Week 6 loss to the Niners. The matchup against San Fran's defense isn't the friendliest for fantasy purposes, but when healthy, Metcalf has been the WR13 in half-PPR points scored per week in 2024 at 13.2. Now that he's back, return him to your starting fantasy lineups.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) was able to practice in full for the second straight day this week on Thursday. Barring a setback on Friday, it seems as though he'll be cleared to play on Sunday against the division-rival San Francisco 49ers. The 26-year-old should see a normal workload in his return, too, meaning fantasy managers should be ready to throw him back into their starting lineups if he's cleared to face the Niners. Metcalf only had three catches on 11 targets for 48 yards in the first meeting with San Fran on Oct. 10, but he's averaging 13.2 half-PPR points per game, which ranks 13th among all receivers. Metcalf's impending return inevitably means fewer targets for both Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Tyler Lockett.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks (knee) is practicing and preparing to play against the Washington Commanders on Sunday, according to ESPN's Ed Werder. The 31-year-old has been on the Injured Reserve list since undergoing knee surgery following Week 4, but it sounds like he could return to action in Week 12. With CeeDee Lamb (back/foot) banged up, Cooks could enter the fantasy football radar in deeper setups, but his upside is likely limited catching passes from Cooper Rush. In four games this season, Cooks caught just nine passes for 91 yards and one touchdown. If Lamb is good to go for Week 12, Cooks should be left on the bench in leagues of 14 or fewer teams.UPDATE: Cooks was limited in practice again on Thursday.

The Dallas Cowboys opened running back Brandin Cooks' (knee) 21-day practice window on Wednesday to return from Injured Reserve. Head coach Mike McCarthy said on Tuesday that the team is hoping to get Cooks back for their Week 12 divisional tilt this Sunday against the Washington Commanders. The 31-year-old veteran has been out since Sept. 26 due to an infected right knee that required surgery, so even though his practice window has opened, he's not a lock to return this weekend. Cooks is going to need to prove to Dallas in practice this week that he's ready to roll. Even if he is cleared to play against Washington on Sunday, fantasy managers would be wise to avoid him in starting lineups with quarterback Cooper Rush now leading the offense. Cooks caught nine passes for 91 yards and one touchdown in four games before his injury.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said he's hoping the team will get wide receiver Brandin Cooks (knee) back for their Week 12 contest versus the division-rival Washington Commanders on Sunday. Cooks has been on Injured Reserve since Oct. 5 due to an infected right knee that required surgery. The fact that the Cowboys have yet to open the 31-year-old veteran's 21-day practice window before coming off IR makes us skeptical that we'll see Cooks on the field against the Commanders this weekend. And even if Cooks is activated from IR and is active on Sunday, we'd expect him to serve as more of Dallas' No. 3 receiver behind CeeDee Lamb and Jalen Tolbert in his first game back. Before his injury, Cooks had been a disappointing WR4/flex for fantasy managers, collecting nine catches for 91 yards and one touchdown. Things won't get any better with Cooper Rush at QB.

Atlanta Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo was 2-for-2 on field goal attempts in Week 11, hitting from 41 and 51 yards out and restoring some semblance of confidence in his abilities after missing three of four chances in Week 10. Unfortunately for the Falcons, Koo's two field goals were the totality of the scoring for Atlanta, losing 38-6 on the road in Denver. Between missing seven field goals this season and the Falcon offense sputtering as of late, Koo is looking like somewhat of a risky play for the rest of the season. If you're a streamer, look to use him in more favorable matchups, and Week 13 versus the Chargers may be a decent one as L.A. has been fairly good at holding opponents out of the end zone.

The Atlanta Falcons are sticking with kicker Younghoe Koo heading into their Week 11 game on the road against the Denver Broncos after he missed three field-goal tries in the three-point loss to the division-rival New Orleans Saints in Week 10. "We've got history. With Koo, I'm going to ride that thing till the wheels fall off," head coach Raheem Morris said. The 30-year-old missed three of his four field goals on Sunday but made both of his extra-point attempts. Over his last six games, Koo has gone an uncharacteristic 3-for-9 from 40-plus yards and also had one of his kicks blocked by the Saints. He's tied for 10th among all kickers in total fantasy points through 10 weeks but is trending down in fantasy at the moment because of his struggles of late. The Broncos defense has been stingy in terms of points allowed this year, but Koo should still be on the streaming radar at altitude in Denver this Sunday.

Atlanta Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo's recent struggles proved costly in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Saints. The 30-year-old missed three of four field goals in Week 10, and after starting the season 13-for-15 over the first six games, he's now 2-for-7 over the last four. Thankfully he is a perfect 23-for-23 on extra-point attempts, but it may not matter if missed field goals will cost Atlanta games. For now, his job seems to be safe, but fantasy managers should monitor in the event something unexpected happens. The Falcons travel to Denver on Sunday in a game that has a fairly low expected total at this point (43.5), so opportunities may be limited and managers may want to consider pivoting to a more reliable option anyway in Week 11.

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert had an up and down game in a Week 11 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Herbert was excellent in the first half before struggling in most of the second half but then turning it on for a game-winning drive at the end. In total, Herbert completed 17 of the 36 passes he attempted for 297 yards and two touchdowns. He did not throw an interception, but took two sacks and lost a fumble. On the ground, he added 65 yards on five carries, leading the team in rushing yards. The Chargers ended up with an important win, and will play again in eight days for Week 12's edition of Monday Night Football.

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has a good matchup in a Week 11 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Herbert got off to a slow start this season due in part to play calling, but also in part due to an injury he was still recovering from. Now fully healthy, Herbert has been the overall fantasy QB9 since Week 7, ranking third in yards per attempt and in passer rating. While he only had to throw 18 times last week against the Titans, he was still extremely efficient and added 32 yards and a touchdown on the ground to boost himself to a QB8 finish for Week 10. This week, on Sunday Night Football, Herbert and the Chargers will likely have to throw the ball more often. The Bengals defense hasn't been able to stop much this season, especially lately, which could lead to a high-scoring shootout on Sunday Night Football. Herbert should be a QB1 with upside this week.

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert had an efficient and effective game in a Week 10 win against the Tennessee Titans. Herbert attempted 18 passes, completing 14 of them for 164 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions. Herbert did not take a sack, adding 32 yards on nine carries, including a four-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter. Herbert's other score was a passing touchdown on a 16-yard play to Quentin Johnston. It was an extremely run-heavy script for the Chargers offense, who saw 18 pass attempts and 39 runs. Herbert and the Bolts will face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Night Football in Week 11.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Keenan Allen (ankle) popped up on Friday's injury report, which now gives him a questionable tag for the Week 12 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Allen appears to have suffered an ankle injury during Friday's practice. The severity of the injury is unknown, but now the oft-injured wideout is uncertain for Sunday. Fantasy managers should get a backup in place considering this injury happened late in the week. If Allen sits, DJ Moore and Rome Odunze figure to have increased roles in the offense.UPDATE: Allen rolled his ankle on Friday and was pulled halfway through, according to head coach Matt Eberflus. However, the Bears are "hopeful" that Allen will be available on Sunday.

On Sunday, Chicago Bears wide receiver Keenan Allen had another quiet performance in the team's Week 11 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Allen finished with just four receptions for 41 yards, a far cry from the dynamic playmaker he was last season. Despite being targeted 8 times by quarterback Caleb Williams, Allen could not make a significant impact. That said, it was encouraging to see him come up clutch on a few vital third-down plays, proving he's still effective at getting open in critical situations. The recent coaching change, with Thomas Brown taking over as offensive coordinator, seems to have sparked some life in the Bears' offense, even if Allen's production didn't reflect that shift. The Bears won't have much time to regroup as they host the tough Minnesotabrutalngs at Soldier Field next Sunday. A challenging matchup against Brian Flores' defense awaits.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton had another highly productive day in the 38-6 blowout win over the visiting Atlanta Falcons in Week 11 on Sunday, setting team-highs in receptions (seven), targets (eight) and receiving yards (78). With Denver's offense improving greatly under the leadership of rookie quarterback Bo Nix after a slow start in 2024, Sutton has slowly risen up the receiver ranks in fantasy. The 29-year-old didn't have a single target in Week 7 against the Saints, but since then, he has 28 receptions for 370 yards and one touchdown on 38 targets. Sutton has only caught three TD passes in 11 games after going for a career-high 10 TDs in 2023, but because of the heavy volume as Nix's favorite aerial weapon, he is ascending to weekly WR2 territory. He'll have a great chance to continue his run in Week 12 against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton is on a heater over his last three games heading into a Week 11 matchup against the visiting Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Sutton was not targeted in a Week 7 win over the New Orleans Saints, but since then, he has caught 21 of his 30 targets for 292 yards and a touchdown in three games against the Panthers, Ravens and Chiefs. The 29-year-old has only three touchdowns through 10 weeks in 2024 after catching a career-high 10 TD passes last year, but his fantasy stock is on the rise with WR2 upside this weekend against a Falcons secondary that has surrendered the ninth-most half-PPR fantasy points per game to pass-catchers. Sutton averages 10.7 half-PPR points (tied for 29th among wideouts) but also ranks ninth with 77 targets, giving him a solid fantasy floor with plenty of volume as Denver's unquestioned WR1.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton had his third straight strong game for the team in the 16-14 loss on Sunday to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs in Week 10. Sutton snapped his two-game streak with 100-plus receiving yards, but he still put forth an impressive game for his fantasy managers with a team-high six receptions on a team-high nine targets for a team-leading 70 receiving yards and his third touchdown of the year. The 29-year-old's touchdown grab came on a 32-yard pass that put the Broncos up 14-3 at the time in the second quarter. The Broncos have been involving Sutton much more ever since his zero-catch game in the Week 7 win over the Saints. That should continue next Sunday versus the Atlanta Falcons, where fantasy managers should consider Sutton a high-volume WR3/flex option.

Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker had an excellent game in a Week 11 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Dicker attempted two field goals and made them both and also added four extra points on his four tries. Dicker's first field goal came from 19 yards out at the end of the first half, and his second was a 53-yarder in the third quarter. He's remained consistent at one of fantasy football's least reliable positions, and should once again be a top-10 option next week against the Baltimore Ravens.

Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker is a solid option as usual for Week 11 fantasy lineups. The Chargers will face off against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Night Football in what could be a high-scoring game, giving Dicker multiple chances to put up points. He's been a top-15 fantasy kicker six times this season and has remained consistent and reliable while adding a little distance to his arsenal. He's a safe top-10 option for Week 11.

Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker made all five of his kicks in a Week 10 win over the Tennessee Titans. Dicker made all three extra points along with two field goals in another solid performance. His first field goal was a 21-yard kick in the first quarter and his second was a 37-yarder in the second quarter. Dicker has been exceptionally accurate and has added some distance to his kicks this season, making him a solid and reliable fantasy kicker despite it being fantasy football's least projectable positions.
