The 30-year-old was also limited in practice with his quad injury last week but ended up playing in the Sunday night loss to the division-rival Detroit Lions in the Week 18 regular-season finale, seeing 15 touches for 75 scrimmage yards on a 62% snap share. For the volume alone as Minnesota's primary back in a high-scoring offense, Jones should be considered a low-end RB1 for wild-card weekend in fantasy. In the loss to the Rams back on Oct. 24, Jones had 19 carries for 58 yards and also caught two passes for 37 yards.

The 30-year-old was effective when he touched the rock but did not receive his typical allotment of snaps in this one. Jones was utilized heavily on the Vikings' first drive but saw just one more touch in the quarter before taking off for a few possessions. He'd again be frequently featured on their last drive of the first half, but he saw only five more touches for the rest of the game. The broadcast noted that the eighth-year pro had been on the sideline for an extended period, though no injury designation had been made. He'd also take a shot later in the game and was slow to get up, so that and his previous quad ailment are possibly the culprits for his diminished snaps. Seeing the veteran limited at practice this week wouldn't be surprising. Jones will get an extra day of rest as his team now prepares for their road tilt with the Los Angeles Rams next Monday night to cap off wild-card weekend. Minnesota's first practice report will be out on Thursday.

The Lions are letting up just 97 yards per game on the ground (third-fewest) and the fifth-least fantasy points per game to RBs (19.1). Still, in a game with the highest over/under of the week (57) -; there should be plenty of offense to go around. The 30-year-old ranks as RotoBaller's PPR RB13 in Week 18.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson struggled over the last four weeks of the regular season, which included a Week 16 loss to the division-rival Baltimore Ravens. Wilson will have a chance to redeem himself against Baltimore in the first round of the NFL playoffs this weekend. Although the Ravens gave up the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season, Wilson did not manage to turn in a top-12 fantasy finish in either of his meetings against them. With how inconsistent Pittsburgh's air attack has been, it is difficult to trust the 13th-year pro as anything more than a last-resort DFS dart throw in the Wild Card Round.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson completed 17 of his 31 pass attempts for 148 yards and one touchdown while adding 16 rushing yards on four carries in a 19-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. The veteran was sacked four times and couldn't get into a rhythm through the air with any pass-catcher except tight end Pat Freiermuth, who was on the receiving end of Wilson's 19-yard passing score in the fourth quarter. After going 6-1 through his first seven starts in Pittsburgh, Wilson will enter the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs having lost four straight. He will be difficult to trust in playoff fantasy leagues and DFS contests regardless of the Steelers' opponent next weekend.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson saved his Week 17 fantasy stat line on the ground as he rushed for a season-high 55 yards and a touchdown in the Christmas game loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Wilson struggled through the air, only throwing for 205 yards on 37 pass attempts while also throwing an interception and no passing touchdowns. The Steelers are on a three-game losing streak and will look to steer the ship as they head into the playoffs next week as either the division winner or, more likely, a Wild Card team. This week, the Steelers will host the Cincinnati Bengals, who allow the fifth most points to opposing quarterbacks on the season, making Wilson a low-end QB1 play in Week 18.

According to Ryan Mink of the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell (illness) is off the injury report for Saturday's playoff game. The veteran kicker popped up on the injury report on Wednesday and remained a non-participant on Thursday. However, the team has already cleared him and he does not carry a designation into the weekend. The 33-year-old did not miss a game all season and held a strong 93.2% conversion rate on field goal attempts and a perfect rate on extra points. He missed only one attempt on field goals from within 49 yards out. Fantasy managers should view Boswell as a solid option for DFS formats, as he has averaged 11.2 PPR points per game this season.

Pittsburgh Steelers placekicker Chris Boswell (illness) was listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's practice. The 33-year-old could log a full session on Tuesday but evidently caught something overnight and was unavailable a day later. It's been an incredible season for the veteran -- drilling all 35 extra-point tries while failing to connect on only three field goals. He led the league with 158 points. While Boswell will get another shot at practice time on Thursday ahead of their Wild Card clash with the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday, it's mildly concerning for the Steelers. Defensive lineman Cameron Heyward (illness) is also under the weather and has been a DNP the whole week thus far, so hopefully, it doesn't spread further. Heyward reportedly has the flu, while Boswell's illness has not yet been reported.

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell nailed his only field goal attempt and both of his extra-point tries in a 19-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Boswell's field goal, a 54-yarder, came in crunch time with Pittsburgh down by five points with fewer than three minutes remaining in the contest. Unfortunately, the Steelers were unable to move the ball into field goal range on their final possession to give Boswell an opportunity for a game-winner. The 33-year-old will conclude the most prolific campaign of his career with 41 made field goals and without missing a single extra-point attempt. Boswell can be started as a high-end option in playoff fantasy leagues and DFS contests when the wild-card round begins next weekend.

Miami Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said on Tuesday that there is "no concern at all" for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's (hip) long-term health after a unique hip injury sidelined him for the final two games of the 2024 season. It's good news, but it also doesn't mean the 26-year-old former first-rounder won't be one of the biggest injury risks at the QB position in 2025. Tagovailoa missed four games while on Injured Reserve this season due to yet another scary concussion and finished with 2,867 passing yards, 19 touchdowns, seven interceptions and a league-best 72.9% completion percentage in 11 starts after his breakout 2023 campaign. In addition to his injury concerns, the Dolphins could have trouble retaining star wideout Tyreek Hill after he voiced his willingness to leave the organization. Injuries and lack of downfield passing will push Tagovailoa down to the QB2 ranks in fantasy in 2025.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (hip) is officially inactive for Sunday's Week 18 contest against the New York Jets. He had been listed as doubtful despite being a limited participant in practice. As expected, Tyler Huntley will draw his second consecutive start. He led Miami to a victory last weekend, and now, he'll be tasked with keeping Miami's playoff hopes alive. The Dolphins can secure the No. 7 seed with a win plus a Broncos loss. Although they won't have Tagovailoa for Sunday's decisive game, the Dolphins will have both Jaylen Waddle (knee) and Tyreek Hill (wrist, illness) available. Huntley ranks as a QB3 in fantasy football this week.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (hip) is unlikely to play in the Week 18 regular-season finale against the division-rival New York Jets on Sunday due to a unique hip injury that affects the surrounding muscles and leaves him vulnerable to further injury, according to sources. Tagovailoa has pushed to play when his team needs him the most, but it's not a guarantee that he'll be available if the Dolphins win in Week 18 and advance to wild-card weekend. Tagovailoa said his general feeling is worse than how he felt a week after he had ankle surgery during his final season in college in 2019. Head coach Mike McDaniel said it's the same hip that Tagovailoa had surgically repaired, but it's a different injury. While Tua does have a career-high 72.9 completion percentage, 19 TDs and seven interceptions, he's played in only 11 games after a stint on Injured Reserve due to another concussion.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (back) admitted that he's been playing through a small fracture in his back. Pittman first noticed it during a joint practice with the Arizona Cardinals in training camp, and a scan showed the extent of the injury. He decided to play through his back injury and had a follow-up scan in Week 3. The 27-year-old will have another scan on Monday to determine if he'll require offseason surgery. Surprisingly, Pittman only missed one game in 2024, although his back injury certainly played a part in what was a down season for his standards. He finished with 69 receptions on 111 targets for 808 yards -- his lowest total since his rookie season in 2020 -- and only three touchdowns in 16 games. Second-year quarterback Anthony Richardson's own injuries and inaccuracy didn't help Pittman's cause in 2024.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. caught six of 10 targets for 72 yards and no touchdowns in Sunday's 26-23 overtime win against the Jaguars. The 27-year-old recorded five or more receptions in six of his last seven games of the season, but it was a year mostly filled with inconsistency at the quarterback position. The reception (69), yardage (808), and touchdown totals (3) were all the lowest outputs since his rookie season in 2020. After setting career highs in receptions and yardage in 2023, this season surely did not meet expectations, especially for fantasy managers who drafted him. With Anthony Richardson under center in 2025, Pittman's outlook doesn't look much better unless the QB can fix his accuracy issues after posting a miserable 47.7% completion rate in 2024. If the Colts get him on track, then Pittman could end up being a value in next year's fantasy drafts assuming his price will be fairly depressed.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. set season-highs in receptions and targets last week with Joe Flacco back at the helm, catching nine of 10 passes for 109 yards and a score. With a week full of practice, the 27-year-old should not be limited in any way again this week, taking on a Jaguars defense that ranks eighth-worst in allowing production to wide receivers. Jacksonville has been even worse against the run, so the Colts may be more inclined to ride Jonathan Taylor's hot hand, although, with both teams out of playoff contention, we could see a few more backups get some playing time in this one. Additionally, with an expected total on the low side (43.5), the teams probably won't combine for 71 points as they did when they played each other earlier this season. In that contest, the former second-round draft pick had five catches for 37 yards and a TD. As it stands, view Pittman Jr. as a WR3 with some upside if the game remains competitive throughout.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III hauled in four of seven targets for 66 yards in Sunday's 44-38 overtime loss to the Panthers, ending their season. While he found the end zone just once all year, the performance caps off a productive campaign for the 28-year-old. The sixth-year pro set career highs (by a wide margin) with 87 targets, 62 catches, and 686 receiving yards. With Michael Penix Jr. looking like a competent passer, the Falcons offense could take a step forward next season. McCloud III should maintain some appeal in PPR leagues as the number three option behind Drake London and Darnell Mooney.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III has seen his role fade recently, catching just a single pass in two of the last three contests, but could be in line for an uptick in productivity if Darnell Mooney (shoulder) were to miss Sunday's contest after being limited Thursday and not practicing on Friday. Despite the recent slump, McCloud III has had a career year, setting highs in receptions (58) and yards (620), and on Sunday he'll take on a Panthers defense that is middle-of-the-pack in limiting fantasy production to opposing wide receivers, but just last week allowed five touchdown receptions, four of which went to WRs (one went to a TE). The 28-year-old is probably a WR5 at best if Mooney plays, but if not, he could see a bump all the way to a borderline WR3/4 or Flex option if Mooney misses the game.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III caught his lone target for 13 yards and gained 14 additional yards on a rushing attempt in Sunday's 30-24 loss to the Commanders. It was an underwhelming performance from the 28-year-old, although his 14-yard run kept alive the game-tying fourth-quarter touchdown drive and got the Falcons down to the Washington five-yard line. But the offense doesn't typically support both he and Kyle Pitts, and Sunday was Pitts' night as he caught four passes including one for a touchdown. After catching no less than two passes in every game through Week 14, McCloud now has two one-catch games in the last three weeks. The Clemson product and the entire Falcons offense have a chance to end the regular season on a high note in Week 18, as they draw the Panthers at home in a game they need to win in order to have a shot at the playoffs.

Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz caught all five of his targets for 44 yards and a touchdown during their victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Ertz's five targets tied him for the second-most on the team. His yardage output placed him third among Washington pass-catchers. Ertz found the back of the end zone on a five-yard strike from quarterback Marcus Mariota in the third quarter. The veteran tight end has enjoyed a strong debut season in the DMV. After catching just three passes during Weeks 15 and 16, Ertz has been able to find his stride, tallying three touchdowns over his past two games. Overall, Ertz has found the back of the end zone seven times and caught had least 40 yards in seven games. The 34-year-old should be viewed as a low-end TE1 in all playoff competitions.

Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz is coming off the best performance of his season and will look to stay hot against a struggling Dallas defense. Last weekend in their playoff-clinching victory over the Atlanta Falcons, Ertz caught six of his seven targets for 72 yards and two touchdowns. This was his second-highest yardage total this season and first multi-touchdown game of the campaign. This was also a nice breakout game for Ertz, as he caught just three passes during Weeks 15 and 16. However, before this minor slump, he averaged a solid 13.0 PPR points during Weeks 10 through 13. Since Week 10, Ertz has seen at least six targets in all but two contests. Given his reliable target share and ability to gain high-value targets in the red zone, he remains a high-floor, low-end TE1 in PPR formats against the Cowboys.

The veteran tight end played a crucial role especially in the second half of this contest. Ertz found the end zone for the first time in the third quarter on a ten yard pass from Jayden Daniels. Then, the 34-year-old would play the hero as he hauled in the playoff-clinching score in overtime from two yards out. Despite his recent struggles, Ertz should continued to be viewed as a low-end TE1 playing on a high-octane Washington offense. He remains a solid play in all formats next weekend with Noah Brown (kidney) on the injured reserve as he should continue to see a reliable target share.
