Head coach Aaron Glenn declined to declare a starter Friday between Fields or Tyrod Taylor (knee) for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Glenn has made a decision but refuses to publicly announce it, so a starter for Sunday's game may not be revealed until shortly prior to the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff in Cincinnati. Fields, who was benched for Taylor at halftime of the Jets' Week 7 loss to the Panthers, could get the job by default if Taylor's knee injury keeps the veteran sidelined against the Bengals. Taylor's listed as questionable.

Fields said Wednesday that he hasn't been told if he or Tyrod Taylor (knee) is in line to start Sunday's game against the Bengals, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports.

Coach Aaron Glenn noted Wednesday that Taylor was managing a knee issue, but that didn't prevent the QB from splitting practice reps with Fields in the Jets' ensuing practice. With that in mind, it doesn't appears as though Taylor's Week 8 status is in any danger, which keeps him in contention to draw the start this weekend for the 0-7 Jets. Per Rich Cimini of ESPN, Glenn declined to name the team's starter Wednesday while indicating that he wants to create a competitive advantage by keeping Cincinnati guessing which signal-caller to game plan for.

Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said Monday that he has not yet decided whether Fields or Tyrod Taylor will draw the start at quarterback Sunday in Cincinnati.

Fields has turned in two straight disastrous performances under center for New York, culminating in his being benched after halftime this past Sunday during the team's 13-6 loss to the Panthers. Prior to being replaced by Taylor, Fields completed six of 12 passes for just 46 yards, with no touchdowns or interceptions, adding 22 yards on four carries. While part of Fields' struggles versus Carolina can be attributed to top target Garrett Wilson (knee) being inactive, he had performed even worse in a Week 6 loss to Denver in London, where he completed just nine of 17 pass attempts for 45 yards with zero touchdowns or interceptions while taking nine sacks. The Jets will continue to evaluate the quarterback position before announcing a Week 8 starter, but at this stage, even with his rushing upside, Fields will be difficult to trust for fantasy purposes if he remains in the lineup.

Pollard rushed the ball six times for 18 yards in Sunday's 31-13 loss to the Patriots. He added six receptions on six targets for 43 yards.

Pollard slipped into an even workload with Tyjae Spears on the ground, though the Titans attempted only 12 rushes as a team. Instead, Pollard earned most of his fantasy value as a pass catcher, with six catches marking his highest total since Week 14 of the 2023 campaign. While it was a positive for Week 7, the likelihood of Pollard repeating this performance in the passing game consistently moving forward is slim. Given the state of the Titans' offense and the split in workload, Pollard has lost much of his fantasy appeal since Spears has returned.

Pollard carried the ball 10 times for 34 yards while adding two receptions for 13 yards in Sunday's 20-10 loss to Las Vegas.

Pollard finished with his worst fantasy score of the season in a seemingly promising matchup against the Raiders defense. The veteran starter still led Tennessee's backfield with 10 carries, finishing five ahead of backup Tyjae Spears. Pollard's reduced touches were rather the result of a poor game script as opposed to a changing of the guard in Tennessee's backfield. Fantasy managers should continue treating Pollard as a potential flex option against the Patriots next Sunday.

Hockenson had two receptions for 26 yards on three targets in Thursday's loss to the Chargers.

Hockenson brought in six of nine targets for 43 yards in the Vikings' 28-22 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
