Hampton's 21-day practice window was opened last Tuesday, but the running back wasn't activated for Sunday's win over the Raiders after being limited at practice Wednesday through Friday. Added context regarding Hampton's Week 14 status will arrive via this Thursday's injury report, but it appears as though he's nearing a return to his first game action since Week 5.

Meanwhile, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that coach Jim Harbaugh told reporters that "it was a good week" for Hampton, "really beneficial, ramping up. Everything's on track to return, (but) not this week."

"They haven't told me yet, but I'm waiting to find out. Whatever my doc says," Hampton noted Wednesday. "I want to, for sure. But it's whatever the doc says." In any case, in order for Hampton to be available versus Las Vegas, he'd need to be activated from IR by Saturday afternoon.

Olave (back) didn't practice Wednesday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Olave was able to play this past Sunday at Miami after dealing with a back injury last week. Coach Kellen Moore said that the issue flared up for Olave after that contest, and the fourth-year pro now will have two more chances this week to mix into drills before the Saints potentially tag him with a designation for a second straight week. Despite the health concern, Olave was able to log an 87 percent snap share Week 13 on his way to four catches (on seven targets) for 47 yards and one touchdown.

Olave suited up after dealing with back spasms that left him questionable to play Week 13. The wideout finished third on the Saints in targets, as Devaughn Vele logged eight targets while tight end Juwan Johnson led the team with nine. Olave still scored his second touchdown in the last three games, connecting with rookie QB Tyler Shough for the second time since he became the Saints' starter Week 9. Despite the Saints' quarterback struggles, Olave's consistency and WR1 usage make him a no-brainer starting option for fantasy purposes. The Saints next face the Buccaneers in Week 14.
