When asked about Jackson's status for Sunday's game against the Bears, coach John Harbaugh noted Wednesday that "it's hard to put a number on it. I don't have any shareable injury intelligence." Jackson now has two more chances to practice fully before the Ravens post their Week 8 injury designations Friday afternoon.

That said, Baltimore's first official practice of Week 8 will occur Wednesday, so the team may simply be taking a cautious approach with Jackson's activity until then. In any case, fantasy managers will need to monitor Jackson's practice status closely, as, if he were unable to suit up against the Bears, the Ravens would have to turn to either Cooper Rush or Tyler Huntley for a start. Jackson hasn't logged practice activity since injuring his hamstring Week 4 against the Chiefs.

Skattebo rushed 16 times for 60 yards and caught three of six targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-32 loss to Denver.

Skattebo followed up the first multi-score game of his career with his first trip to the end zone as a receiver through seven pro appearances. The bruising tailback had actually been fairly active in the pass game prior to Sunday's touchdown catch, averaging 3.3 receptions and 25.8 receiving yards in the previous six games. Skattebo did finish below 4.0 yards per carry for the third time this season, but he is still commanding the lion's share of touches out of the Giants' backfield. Fantasy managers should continue riding Skattebo next Sunday against the Eagles in a rematch from Week 6, when the rookie hit paydirt thrice.

Skattebo rushed 19 times for 98 yards and three touchdowns and brought in both targets for 12 yards in the Giants' 34-17 win over the Eagles on Thursday night.

Backfield mate Tyrone Tracy returned from a two-game absence due to a shoulder injury, but Skattebo helped make the latter's availability a non-issue with his stellar play. The rookie was responsible for each of the Giants' last three touchdowns, recording a four-yard scoring run late in the first half and then going into the end zone from one yard out in both the third and fourth quarters. Skattebo also set a new single-game career high in rushing yards with Thursday's performance, and he notably gained 44 of his yards on the Giants' final, game-sealing drive that consumed the last 6:50 of the contest. Given his performance Thursday, Skattebo will head into another stiff challenge against the Broncos on Sunday, Oct. 19 as the unquestioned lead back.

Commanders coach Dan Quinn said Wednesday that Samuel (heel) is "trending right" for Monday's game against the Chiefs, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Quinn said that Samuel and Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) are both expected to practice throughout Week 8 as Monday's road matchup at Kansas City approaches. Washington's first official practice report will be released Thursday, at which point Samuel is on track to be listed as at least a limited participant. He wasn't able to suit up Week 7 versus the Cowboys despite having played through his heel injury the prior two games. Meanwhile, the status of quarterback Jayden Daniels (hamstring) remains uncertain, meaning Marcus Mariota could step into the starting lineup versus the Chiefs.

Samuel (heel) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

Samuel was able to draw the questionable tag for Week 7 after logging a limited practice Friday, but the seventh-year wideout will not travel with the team to Dallas due to a lingering heel injury. The Commanders will be without Samuel, Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (groin) for Sunday's NFC East tilt, which leaves Luke McCaffrey, rookie fourth-rounder Jaylin Lane and Chris Moore as the top wideouts in the passing game for Jayden Daniels. Tight end Zach Ertz would also be in line for more work on offense in the absence of Samuel, but the former is listed as questionable for Week 7 due to foot and shoulder injuries. Samuel's next opportunity to play is Week 8 against the Chiefs on Monday, Oct. 27.

Samuel returned to practice Friday, but he was a limited participant and suggested to reporters that he's not sure if he'll play Sunday. He did play through the same injury the past two weeks, including Week 5 when he had an 8-96-1 receiving line against the Chargers. Samuel slumped to 4-15-0 in Monday's loss to the Bears, but his playing time wasn't impacted, handling a 72 percent snap share and 90 percent route share. With Terry McLaurin (quad) out again and TE Zach Ertz (shoulder/calf) listed as questionable, Washington is running low on healthy pass catchers.

Johnston caught two of six targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-24 loss to the Colts.

Making his return from a one-game absence due to a hamstring strain, Johnston struggled with drops and didn't see a lot of volume, but he was still able to make an impact with a seven-yard TD reception from Justin Herbert in the third quarter. Johnston will take a 28-407-5 line on 46 targets through six contests into a Week 8 meeting with the Vikings, who just surrendered a combined 13-304-3 line to A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

Johnston (hamstring) practiced fully Thursday.

After being limited Wednesday, Johnston -- who was inactive for the Chargers' 29-27 win over the Dolphins in Week 6 -- returned to a full session a day later, which sets the stage for the wideout to return to action Sunday against the Colts. Prior to his injury, Johnston was off to a fantasy-friendly start to the 2025 campaign with a 26-377-4 line on 41 targets through five contests.

Dicker hit his only field-goal attempt and all three extra-point tries in Sunday's 38-24 loss to the Colts.

The kicker's field goal came from 43 yards out. Dicker has yet to miss a kick in 2025, going 15-of-15 on field-goal tries and 14-of-14 on extra-point attempts. He'll try to stay perfect on Thursday Night Football this week against the Vikings.

Dicker helped the Bolts keep pace with three made field goals in the first half, and he put the finishing touches on the Chargers' come-from-behind win with a 33-yard chip shot late in the fourth quarter. All five of Dicker's field-goal attempts came from within 35 yards, and he finished Sunday's game having accounted for 17 of the Chargers' 29 points. His five made field goals matched a career high, and he has started the 2025 regular season a perfect 14-for-14 through six games.

Fields said Wednesday that he hasn't been told if he or Tyrod Taylor (knee) is in line to start Sunday's game against the Bengals, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports.

Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said Monday that he has not yet decided whether Fields or Tyrod Taylor will draw the start at quarterback Sunday in Cincinnati.
