Cousins completed 19 of 28 passes for 243 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 45-17 loss to the Patriots.

The lopsided result owed much more to the fact that the Raiders defense couldn't stop Drake Maye than it did to Cousins' performance, but it still provided coach Klint Kubiak with an opportunity to give Fernando Mendoza his first snaps in the NFL on the team's final drive. Las Vegas has lost two straight games with Cousins under center after a 3-0 start, and while the veteran QB has a more than respectable 12:4 TD:INT and 65.1 percent completion rate in his five starts, he was always going to be a placeholder until the first overall pick in the 2026 draft is deemed ready to take over. A switch at quarterback may not be imminent, but the clock may be ticking on Cousins' tenure as the starter heading into a Week 6 battle with the Bills.

Cousins completed 31 of 52 passes for 365 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Chiefs. He also threw a successful two-point conversion.

Cousins opened the scoring with a 27-yard touchdown pass to Ian Thomas in the first quarter, but his next touchdown pass didn't come until 1:46 remained in the fourth quarter, when Cousins connected with Brock Bowers for a 20-yard touchdown and added a two-point conversion to Cody White to cut the Raiders' deficit to three points. Vegas got the ball back, but Cousins was picked off on the game's penultimate play as the Raiders' comeback bid came up short. Despite Sunday's setback, Cousins has led the Raiders to a 3-1 record while posting an 11:4 TD:INT heading into a Week 5 road game against the Patriots.

Jones rushed 25 times for 113 yards and a touchdown and brought in all three targets for four yards in the Vikings' 23-13 win over the Saints on Sunday.

Jones continued handling the workhorse role in Minnesota's backfield, and he finished Sunday's contest with a new season high in carries despite exiting the game for a spell due to a leg issue. Jones added his second rushing touchdown of the season on an eight-yard run early in the fourth quarter, while the 100-yard effort was his second of the campaign. Sunday marked Jones' backfield mate Jordan Mason's fourth absence while on injured reserve due to a thumb injury, and it remains to be seen if the latter will be ready to suit up and put a dent in Jones' opportunities during a Week 7 home matchup against the Colts on Sunday, Oct. 25, following a Week 6 bye.

Jones (knee) returned to Sunday's contest in New Orleans, Dane Mizutani of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Jones spent some time out of the Vikings' Week 5 matchup in the first half due to a left knee injury, but he seemingly will attempt to play through the pain Sunday. If Jones needs to cede any reps to the rest of the team's backfield, DeeJay Dallas and rookie Demond Claiborne are on hand to spell the veteran.

Jones departed Sunday's contest at New Orleans due to a knee injury.

Jones came up limping after a lost fumble in the red zone late in the first quarter and went to the medical tent before the Vikings deemed him questionable to return. DeeJay Dallas likely will take on No. 1 RB duties for as long as Jones is sidelined, with rookie Demond Claiborne also on hand for reps out of Minnesota's backfield.

Boston caught three of seven targets for 46 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 17-12 loss to the Jets.

Boston's 29-yard touchdown catch with 6:15 left in the fourth quarter gave the Browns a 12-10 lead, but Cleveland failed to hold that advantage. The rookie second-round pick has caught 16 of 29 targets for 330 yards and three touchdowns while exceeding 40 receiving yards in each of his first five NFL outings. KC Concepcion, who was drafted 15 picks ahead of Boston at 24th overall, exited Sunday's loss due to a concussion. Boston could get a larger share of targets from Deshaun Watson if Concepcion doesn't rejoin Cleveland's WR room in Week 6 against the Ravens.

Boston brought in four of seven targets for 89 yards in the Browns' 27-24 win over the Steelers on Thursday.

The impressive start to Boston's NFL career continued Thursday, with the rookie second-round pick leading the Browns in receiving yards and tying for runner-up status with Quinshon Judkins in targets. The bulk of Boston's production came on an impressive 60-yard reception to kick off an early second-quarter possession that culminated in a Judkins two-yard touchdown run. Boston has quickly amassed a 13-284-2 line on 22 targets through his first four career games, affording him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 5 road matchup against the Jets on Sunday, Oct. 11.

Boston caught two of four targets for 41 yards during the Browns' 21-18 win over the Panthers on Sunday. He also caught a two-point conversion.

The rookie second-rounder was held without a catch until the fourth quarter, when he caught 28- and 13-yard passes from Deshaun Watson before the duo connected on a two-point conversion late in the fourth quarter to extend the Browns' lead to three points. Boston was unable to record a touchdown catch for a third-straight game, though he still finished Sunday's contest as the Browns' second-leading receiver behind tight end Harold Fannin (51). Boston, Fannin and rookie first-rounder KC Concepcion will continue to serve as Watson's top targets in the passing game, with Jerry Jeudy and Isaiah Bond working in rotation. Boston will take a 9-195-2 receiving line (on 15 targets) into Thursday's AFC North showdown against the Steelers.

Warren caught seven of nine targets for 83 yards and added a one-yard touchdown on his only carry in Sunday's 34-22 loss to the Steelers.

The second-year tight end led the Colts in catches and receiving yards while tying Keenan Allen for the team lead in targets, and Warren produced Indy's only TD of the game with his goal-line plunge in the second quarter. Warren is seeing strong volume as one of the few pass catchers Daniel Jones can rely on, and through five games he's delivered a 30-213-2 line on 36 targets. Given Jones' lack of options, Warren could be busy again in Week 6 against the winless Titans.

Warren caught all five of his targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 30-13 win over the Commanders.

The Colts didn't need to air it out much after the Commanders lost Marcus Mariota to a knee injury, putting their offense in the hands of seventh-round rookie Athan Kaliakmanis, and Warren tied his season low in targets as a result. The tight end still tied Laquon Treadwell for the team high in catches, however. Warren has produced a 23-130-2 line on 27 targets through four games, and he'll remain one of Daniel Jones' top options as long as wideouts Alec Pierce (heel), and Keenan Allen (groin) remain on the shelf.

Head coach Todd Bowles said Friday that Mayfield (thumb) now is in a smaller splint, and the Bucs will see if he can progress to gripping the football next week, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Mayfield's dislocated right thumb could keep him out anywhere from 3-to-6 weeks, depending on how quickly he's able to resume gripping the football without issue, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles said Friday that he plans on starting Daniels in Week 6 against Pittsburgh, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

Daniels completed 19 of 25 passes for 189 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions while rushing seven times for 23 yards in the Buccaneers' 24-16 win over the Cowboys on Thursday night.

Daniels completed 19 of 27 passes for 148 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions and rushed eight times for 55 yards in the Buccaneers' 17-14 loss to the Packers on Sunday. He also recovered a fumble.

Allen (groin) is active for Sunday's Week 5 game against the Steelers.

Allen (groin) is expected to play Sunday against the Steelers, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.

Allen (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Bell will make his NFL regular-season debut against the Rams on Monday due to the absence of Joshua Palmer (shoulder), Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
