Smith completed 17 of 30 pass attempts for 182 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 17-12 win over the Browns. He also rushed five times for seven yards and lost a fumble.

Smith threw a 32-yard touchdown pass to Garrett Wilson on the team's first drive, but New York's passing game was quiet the rest of the way while playing through rainy conditions for the second time in as many home games. The veteran QB, who celebrated his 36th birthday Saturday, has a tidy 6:0 TD:INT, though Smith has put the ball on the ground in all but one game while losing two of four fumbles. Smith and the Jets will hope to get some of their injured skill-position players back in Week 6 against the Patriots. Kenyon Sadiq (concussion) joined that growing list during Sunday's win.

Smith completed eight of 15 pass attempts for 119 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-12 loss to the Bears.

Smith threw for just 18 yards in the first half as the Jets took a 13-3 deficit into the locker room. Things didn't get much better offensively after halftime, except for Smith's 58-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Williams in the fourth quarter. Smith has a 5:0 TD:INT and is averaging 226 passing yards heading into a Week 5 home game against the Browns.

Browns head coach Todd Monken said that Judkins is considered day-to-day after sustaining a "tweak" to his ankle in Sunday's 17-12 loss to the Jets, and the running back hasn't been ruled out for a Week 6 game against the Ravens, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Though he was able to finish out Sunday's contest while accounting for 50 yards from scrimmage on 17 touches (14 carries, three receptions), Judkins handled a lower snap share (52.9 percent) than usual, likely due to the injury. The second-year back was spotted with a walking boot on his right foot following the game, but Monken's comments offer at least some optimism about Judkins' availability heading into Week 6. His practice participation Wednesday through Friday should help provide a clearer read on his status heading into next Sunday.

Judkins was wearing a walking boot on his right foot after Sunday's 17-12 loss at the Jets, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

It's unclear when Judkins may have suffered the injury, but he paced the Browns backfield in Week 5 with 14 carries for 44 yards while adding three catches (on four targets) for six yards. With reserve RB Raheim Sanders also exiting Sunday's game due to a hip issue, Jaleel McLaughlin is currently the only healthy RB on the active roster.

Judkins rushed 17 times for 53 yards and a touchdown and brought in six of seven targets for 43 yards in the Browns' 27-24 win over the Steelers on Thursday.

Judkins was in his customary workhorse role in the Browns' ground attack, although as his final rushing line indicates, he found running room hard to come by on most of his carries. Even the second-year back's first rushing touchdown of the season didn't come easy, as Judkins had to power his way in from two yards out in the second quarter. However, he was able to find plenty of success as a receiver, finishing as the team leader in receptions and tying for runner-up status in targets with numbers that also qualified as new career-high figures. Judkins' backfield mates Raheim Sanders and Jaleel McLaughlin combined for just three carries between them -- although the latter took his one tote for a 28-yard touchdown -- so Cleveland's clear lead back will continue to helm the run game in a Week 5 road matchup against the Jets on Sunday, Oct. 11.

McConkey (foot) was active but didn't play any snaps in Sunday's 23-17 loss to the Broncos.

Initially labeled as week-to-week by head coach Jim Harbaugh at the beginning of Week 5 prep, McConkey didn't practice in any fashion Wednesday through Friday but was still listed as questionable heading into Sunday. Though he ultimately suited up against Denver, McConkey looks to have been active only in an emergency since the Chargers had two other wideouts (Quentin Johnston and Brenen Thompson) sitting out with more worrisome injuries. The Chargers' depth was further tested when Tre' Harris (hamstring) left Sunday's game early, resulting in the team finishing with just three healthy receivers. McConkey's practice activity will bear watching this week to determine whether he has a more legitimate chance at playing meaningful snaps next Sunday in Kansas City.

McConkey (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Eric Smith of the Chargers' officials site reports.

Following an aggravation of a foot injury last Sunday at Seattle, McConkey was held out of drills during Week 5 prep but still entered the weekend listed as questionable to suit up. Adam Schefter of ESPN then reported Sunday morning that McConkey wasn't slated to play, and while the wide receiver actually is in uniform, he isn't expected to have a significant role, per Schefter. If that comes to pass, Tre' Harris likely will serve as the No. 1 WR for QB Justin Herbert, while Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Derius Davis and Theo Wease are the other players available at the position aside from McConkey.

McConkey (foot) isn't expected to play Sunday versus the Broncos, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

McConkey aggravated a foot injury in the third quarter of last Sunday's loss at Seattle and didn't log any on-field work in the meantime, but the Chargers still gave him a chance to suit up in Week 5 by tagging him as questionable. Despite the listing, he's likely to be included among the team's inactives once the list is posted about 90 minutes before a 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. With fellow WRs Quentin Johnston (chest) and Brenen Thompson (quadriceps) already ruled out, Tre' Harris is expected to be L.A.'s top pass catcher Sunday, with Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Derius Davis and Theo Wease on hand for targets at the position.

McBride brought in nine of 10 targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals' 45-21 loss to the Lions on Sunday.

McBride was in the familiar position of leading the Cardinals in receptions and targets, and he was narrowly second to Kendrick Bourne in receiving yards. The star tight end's touchdown reception was also a thing of beauty despite the fact it came when the game was completely out of reach, as McBride somehow secured the pass inbounds after tapping it twice to himself while swarmed by two defenders. McBride already has three nine-catch tallies in the first five games of the season, and he's also opened the campaign with five consecutive double-digit target totals. McBride has amassed 42 receptions in 2026, putting him well on pace for a third straight 100-catch season heading into a Week 6 home matchup against the Rams next Sunday.

McBride caught seven of 12 targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 36-24 loss to the Giants.

While the star tight end saw double-digit targets for a fourth straight game to begin the season, McBride couldn't turn the volume into meaningful production, with backup TE Elijah Higgins instead connecting with Jacoby Brissett on a two-yard score in the third quarter. McBride will carry a 33-242-2 line on a whopping 46 targets into a Week 5 clash at home with the Lions.

Swift rushed nine times for 43 yards and a touchdown and brought in four of five targets for 30 yards in the Bears' 31-7 loss to the Packers on Sunday.

With Kyle Monangai (toe) inactive, Swift had the clear-cut lead role in the Bears' ground attack Sunday, but game script progressively worked against him. The veteran back was able to somewhat salvage his fantasy day with a one-yard touchdown run just inside the two-minute warning in the first half, his first score since his three-TD day in Week 1 against the Panthers. Swift also posted his second-highest reception, receiving yardage and target totals of the season, and it remains to be seen if he'll get another game without Monangai when the Bears visit the Falcons next Sunday.

Swift (hip/knee) was a full participant in Friday's practice and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Packers.

With Swift progressing from a non-participant Wednesday to limited Thursday and full Friday, he appears set to lead Chicago's backfield in Week 5, especially after Kyle Monangai (toe) was ruled out and deemed week-to-week. Swift should be in line for a significant boost in snaps and touches with Monangai out of the picture against Green Bay, though Roschon Johnson will certainly be a factor, just maybe not to the extent Monangai had been out of Chicago's backfield.

Swift (hip/knee) returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday, Sean Hammond of the Chicago Tribune reports.

This is progress for Swift, who did not practice to begin the week Wednesday. Notably, backfield mate Kyle Monangai (thumb/toe) also did not practice either day. Swift may be slightly ahead of Monangai in terms of his progress, but Friday's injury report will be the telltale sign for the Bears' backfield outlook going into the Week 5 matchup against the Packers.

Bears head coach Ben Johnson was non-committal on a return date for Williams (hamstring) after Sunday's 31-7 loss to the Packers, Chris Emma of 670TheScore.com reports. "He's on track. We'll see if that's Atlanta [in Week 6] or after," Johnson said. "I think it's going to be close."

Williams (hamstring) is listed as inactive Sunday in Green Bay.

Williams (hamstring), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Green Bay but isn't expected to suit up, is "pushing to play" in Week 6 against the Falcons, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Downs caught three of six targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 34-22 loss to the Steelers.

Downs caught three of four targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 30-13 win over the Commanders.

Bryant (ankle) was placed on the Broncos' injured reserve Friday.

The Broncos plan to place Bryant (ankle) on injured reserve, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Bryant (ankle) isn't participating in Thursday's practice, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.
