Jones completed 33 of 49 passes for 342 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions while adding four rushes for five yards in the 49ers' 26-23 overtime win over the Rams on Thursday night.

Prior to Thursday's game, Brock Purdy was announced as week-to-week for the foreseeable future due to his troublesome toe, but on a couple of occasions in the marathon win, it appeared the 49ers could lose Jones as well. Already managing a PCL injury coming in, Jones took two particularly hard shots on sacks in the second half and overtime, including one late in the third quarter where he remained on the ground for some time clutching his leg in pain. Nevertheless, Jones didn't miss any plays and put together another highly impressive performance, one that featured his highest passing yardage total of the season and pushed him to a 6:1 TD:INT on the campaign. Jones hit Jake Tonges (six yards) and Christian McCaffrey (one yard) for his two first-half scoring tosses, and he also spearheaded an eight-play drive in overtime to set up Eddy Pineiro's tie-breaking (and eventual game-winning) field goal. The veteran signal-caller now will have a few extra days to heal up for a Week 6 road matchup against the Buccaneers on Sunday, Oct. 12.

Jones (knee) will start Thursday at the Rams after Brock Purdy (toe) was ruled out for that contest, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Purdy returned from a two-game absence this past Sunday versus the Jaguars but came out of the outing with toe soreness, which didn't allow him to practice this week. Meanwhile, Jones is past the PCL sprain that he dealt with last week following three straight full listings this week. With Purdy sidelined for the third time this season, Jones will retake the reins of the 49ers offense, but the skill positions also will be without WRs Jauan Jennings (ankle/rib) and Ricky Pearsall (knee), meaning RB Christian McCaffrey, WRs Kendrick Bourne, Demarcus Robinson and Skyy Moore and TE Jake Tonges will be the top available options in the passing game.

Jones (knee) was listed as a full participant at the 49ers' walkthrough Tuesday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.

Jones appears to have moved past the PCL sprain that he suffered in Week 3 versus Arizona, and he looks to be all set to play in Thursday night's contest versus the Rams. General manager John Lynch stated earlier in the week that the team will take "every precaution" to make sure that starting quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) is all right, per Matt Barrows of The Athletic. Purdy was considered a non-participant at Tuesday's walkthrough, and if he can't go in Week 5, Jones would garner his third start of the season.

Dobbins rushed 20 times for 79 yards and a touchdown and brought in his only target for five yards in the Broncos' 21-17 win over the Eagles on Sunday.

Dobbins remained the clear lead back, with rookie RJ Harvey logging only four carries. The former toughed out a difficult matchup on the ground, with his long run on the afternoon a modest 17 yards. Dobbins recorded his fourth rushing touchdown in five games on a two-yard run early in the fourth quarter, while his yardage total was his third highest of the campaign and fourth over 75 yards already in 2025. Dobbins has played a minimal role in the passing game so far, but his secure role in the ground attack gives him an appealing fantasy floor heading into a favorable Week 6 matchup in London against the Jets next Sunday.

Dobbins rushed 16 times for 101 yards and caught his only target for four yards in Monday's 28-3 win over Cincinnati.

Dobbins made Swiss cheese of the Bengals defense Monday, averaging 6.3 yards per carry while helping his team dominate the time of possession battle (+15:56). The bruising back also ended a drought dating back to the 2022 season of Denver failing to produce a 100-yard rusher. The only blemish on the 26-year-old's night was the lack of a touchdown, ending the scoring streak he started the season with at three games. Dobbins will face a stiffer test Week 5 when the Broncos visit the Eagles on Sunday, but fantasy managers should start their hot asset regardless.

Pittman brought in five of six targets for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 40-6 win over the Raiders on Sunday.

The veteran receiver finished second on the Colts in receptions during the lopsided victory, and although he averaged only 7.8 yards per catch, he rounded out his production nicely with a four-yard scoring grab late in the first half. Pittman has at least five receptions in four of the first five contests of the season, and although he continues to be used primarily in a short-area role, he's already recorded four touchdown catches, one more than he tallied across 16 regular-season games in 2024. Pittman will look to continue adding to that total in a Week 6 home matchup against the Cardinals.

Pittman (hamstring) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Raiders after returning to a full practice Friday.

Pittman was added to the Colts' Week 5 injury report Thursday after being limited by a hamstring issue. However, the wideout worked fully a day later, which paves the way for him to remain a key receiving target for QB Daniel Jones this weekend. In a 27-20 loss to the Rams last Sunday, Pittman caught five passes on a team-high 10 targets for 41 yards and a touchdown, while recording a 93 percent snap share. With fellow WR Alec Pierce (concussion) out for the second straight contest, look for Pittman to remain busy this weekend.

Pittman (hamstring) was limited at practice Thursday.

Pittman, who logged 10 targets last weekend against the Rams, wasn't listed on the Colts' initial Week 5 injury report, so his addition to it Thursday is notable. Friday's final report of the week will reveal whether or not Pittman's hamstring issue will lead to him carrying a designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Raiders. On the plus side, fellow WR Alec Pierce (concussion) has logged back-to-back full sessions and is trending toward being available this weekend.

Johnson caught two of four targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 26-14 win over the Giants.

The tight end produced his worst numbers of 2025, and while the returns of Taysom Hill and Foster Moreau from knee injuries didn't cut into Johnson's workload at all -- he was on the field for 56 offensive snaps (85 percent) -- Spencer Rattler and the Saints' offense did make an effort to attack downfield more than they had in the first month of the year. That change may have had more to do with the quality of the Giants' secondary than it did any growth in Rattler's game, but the window for Johnson to be a reliable fantasy option may be closing rapidly. He'll try to bounce back in Week 6 against the Patriots.

Johnson (ankle) is listed as active Sunday against the Saints.

Johnson was contained to a pair of limited practices during Week 5 prep due to an ankle injury, but he'll ditch his questionable designation and be available to New Orleans' offense Sunday. He's welcoming back fellow TEs Taysom Hill (knee) and Foster Moreau (knee) to the lineup for the first time this season, but Johnson still should remain the most consistent pass catcher among the trio for QB Spencer Rattler. Johnson has racked up a respectable 22-204-1 line on 32 targets in four games on the campaign.

Johnson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Giants, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Johnson followed up Wednesday's absence due to an ankle injury with a limited session Thursday. He wasn't able to progress enough to avoid a designation in advance of the weekend, but his status nonetheless will be confirmed about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. Meanwhile, fellow TEs Taysom Hill (knee) and Foster Moreau (knee) also are listed as questionable, but the Saints will need to activate them from the reserve/PUP list by Saturday afternoon in order for them to have a chance to play Week 5.

Washington brought in four of five targets for no gain, returned four kickoffs for 98 yards and ran back three punts for 29 yards in the Dolphins' 27-24 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.

In the Dolphins' first full game without Tyreek Hill (IR, knee), the expanded role on offense some predicted for Washington surfaced to an extent, albeit with minimal value since he didn't net any receiving yardage on his four grabs. Nevertheless, the second-year wideout's catch total was a season high, and his target tally equaled a high-water mark for the season as well. Washington did continue to pay solid dividends for those deploying him in formats that also count return yards, and he certainly has nowhere to go but up as a receiver in a Week 6 home matchup against the Chargers next Sunday afternoon.

Washington reeled in two of three targets for 13 yards and added eight yards on two carries in Monday's 27-21 win over the Jets.

Washington started and was on the field for 28 of the Dolphins' 58 offensive plays (48 percent), but his snap share appears destined to rise in the upcoming weeks after star wideout Tyreek Hill sustained a season-ending knee injury during Monday's contest. Jaylen Waddle is expected to settle in as the clear No. 1 target for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa sans Hill, but fellow receivers Washington and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine as well as running back De'Von Achane and tight end Darren Waller could all see their profiles in the passing game expand to varying degrees.

Blue carried the ball four times for seven yards and returned one kickoff for 32 yards in Sunday's win over the Jets.

Blue is listed as active Sunday at the Jets.
