Maye completed 14 of 25 passes for 199 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions and added four carries for 18 yards in the Patriots' 35-6 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday. He also committed two fumbles, losing one.

Maye's rough afternoon also included three sacks, and the multi-interception tally was already his second of the first three games of the new season. The 2024 first-round pick was able to lead his team to only two field goals, and two of his three turnovers were followed by Jaguars touchdowns on the ensuing drive. It's clear Maye misses No. 1 target A.J. Brown (ankle, IR), and although the latter's absence wasn't anywhere near as impactful in a Week 2 win over the Steelers where the defense held Pittsburgh to three points, it was glaring in a game where New England needed to consistently score points. Brown still is slated to miss several more games, and Maye will have plenty of pressure on him in a Week 4 road matchup against Josh Allen and the Bills.

Maye didn't get much going through the air and was picked off on the first possession of the second half, but the Patriots rode their defense and running game to a comfortable win. Romeo Doubs stepped up at wide receiver with 96 of Maye's 208 yards through the air in the absence of A.J. Brown (ankle), who is expected to miss six weeks due to an ankle injury sustained in the Week 1 loss to Seattle. Maye is averaging just 193 passing yards and takes a 1:4 TD:INT into a Week 3 road game against the Jaguars.

Lloyd rushed four times for 11 yards and brought in two of three targets for seven yards in the Packers' 35-14 loss to the Falcons on Thursday.

The inefficiency reflected in his final line underscores the type of season it's been so far for Lloyd, who's tried in vain to serve as a serviceable replacement for Josh Jacobs (personal) while he remains on the Commissioner's Exempt List. Lloyd's rushing opportunities were limited Thursday largely due to game script, but the 2024 third-round pick is averaging just 3.0 yards per carry through three games and has complemented it with an unremarkable 4-13-0 line through the air. Lloyd, Chris Brooks and Kaleb Johnson will continue to share the Packers' backfield workload in a Week 4 road matchup against the Buccaneers on Sunday, Oct. 4.

Lloyd rushed six times for 20 yards in the Packers' 20-17 overtime win over the Jets on Sunday. He added two catches for six yards and a touchdown on two targets.

Lloyd got the start out of the backfield for Green Bay and scored his first career regular-season touchdown with a six-yard catch in the second quarter. That's the good news. The bad news is Lloyd played a total of just 16 offensive snaps and lost a fumble deep in his own territory early in the fourth quarter. He never touched the ball again following the fumble, as Kaleb Johnson took over as the early-down back in overtime, with Chris Brooks remaining the preferred option in passing situations. Lloyd gets a dream matchup with the Falcons on Thursday night, but it's fair to wonder about his role headed into that Week 3 contest.

Olave caught nine of 13 targets for 107 yards in Sunday's 35-27 loss to the Raiders.

The fifth-year wideout led the Saints in catches, targets and receiving yards, but all four of Tyler Shough's TD passes went to tight ends instead of Olave. Olave has hauled in more than 100 yards in two of three games to begin the season, amassing a 27-375-1 line on 36 targets, and he'll look to keep rolling in Week 4 at home against the Falcons.

Olave caught eight of 10 targets for 86 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-17 win over Baltimore.

The fifth-year wideout dealt with a minor hamstring issue during the week, but Olave looked fully healthy when he hauled in a 21-yard strike from Tyler Shough early in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 17-17. Olave has an impressive 18-268-1 line on 23 targets through two games as the Saints' clear top downfield option, and he seems likely to continue padding his numbers in a Week 3 home tilt against the Raiders.

Olave (hamstring) is listed as active Sunday at Baltimore, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Olave made an early exit from Thursday's practice due to a hamstring injury, but it was considered a precautionary measure at the time, per Underhill. Olave remained limited Friday and entered the weekend listed as questionable for Week 2 action, but Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Sunday morning that the wide receiver was slated to play. Prior to being confirmed as active, Olave was expected to have no limitations on his workload, according to Underhill, a reality that amounted to 10 catches (on 13 targets) for 182 yards in a season-opening overtime loss in Detroit.

Pitts secured one of two targets for five yards in the Falcons' 35-14 win over the Packers on Thursday.

Pitts' slow start persisted Thursday despite Michael Penix making his season debut and taking the reins of the offense from the ineffective duo of Cooper Rush and Jack Strand. Pitts has managed just two receptions for 20 yards on six targets through three games, but given how sharp Penix looked right out of the gate Thursday, the duo is bound to start clicking in coming games as they've done previously.

Pitts brought in one of three targets for 15 yards in the Falcons' 34-3 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.

Pitts was able to make his mark in the catch column for the first time in the new season, but that one reception turned out to be his only contribution on the afternoon. However, given Cooper Rush and Jack Strand combined to throw for only 145 yards and three interceptions, Pitts' sparse production is largely explained away. The talented tight end figures to see his outlook brighten whenever Michael Penix (knee) or Tua Tagovailoa (oblique) are able to suit up, with a Week 3 Thursday night road matchup against the Packers their next opportunity to do so.

Boutte is expected to remain in the No. 2 receiver role for Sunday's Week 3 matchup against the Colts due to Nico Collins (hamstring) being ruled inactive for the contest.

While filling the same role in the Week 2 loss to the Bengals, Boutte logged a modest five targets on 47 routes run, emerging from the contest with a 3-37-0 line. The veteran pass catcher will draw a potentially more favorable matchup Sunday as the Texans aim for their first win of the season, as the Colts have surrendered an elevated 72.7 percent catch rate and 17.9 yards per reception to wide receivers.

Boutte caught three of five targets for 37 yards during the Texans' 20-6 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.

Both Boutte and Xavier Hutchinson were lined up for larger roles offensively after Nico Collins (hamstring) was ruled out prior to Sunday's game. Boutte and Hutchinson ended with the same number of catches and receiving yards, but it was tight end Dalton Schultz who led all Texans pass catchers with a 12-140-0 line on 14 targets. Collins is expected to miss the Texans' Week 3 tilt against the Colts, so Boutte should have at least one more week serving in an elevated role, though he doesn't appear to be in line for the kind of production bump that Schultz had in Week 2.

Boutte is in line for a larger role with Nico Collins (hamstring) ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Aaron Wilson of SportsTalk790AM reports.

Boutte was targeted on just two of 25 routes in a Week 1 loss to Buffalo, catching one pass for 21 yards. His 60 percent route share was fourth on the team, behind Collins (86 percent), TE Dalton Schultz (71 percent) and WR Xavier Hutchinson (69 percent). With Collins out of the equation, Hutchinson and Boutte are the safest bets to take WR snaps, with Jaylin Noel and Jared Wayne also having roles. The Texans also may lean into multi-TE formations after using 11 personnel on 58 percent of snaps in their season opener.

Darnold completed 31 of 45 passes for 379 yards and four touchdowns with two interceptions in Sunday's 33-31 loss to the Commanders. He added five yards on his only carry.

Coach Mike Macdonald said Friday that Darnold (glute) is "going to play" Sunday at Washington, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.
