As long as White doesn't have any setbacks in practice this week, fantasy managers should feel pretty comfortable that he will suit up for a good matchup at home in Week 3 this Sunday against the 0-2 Denver Broncos. The 25-year-old couldn't get anything going against Detroit, carrying the ball only 10 times for 18 yards while catching one pass for five yards. If he plays this Sunday, White will be hoping to turn things around after averaging a measly 2.0 yards per carry through the first two weeks of the season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White (groin) left Sunday's 20-16 win over the Detroit Lions. The former Arizona State star played 71% of the snaps, totaling 10 rushing attempts for 18 yards in Week 2 after a slightly disappointing opening week performance. Thankfully, the third-year running back avoided a significant injury. Fantasy players should check with the Buccaneers' practice report throughout the week to ensure White is on track to play Sunday against the Denver Broncos. If the star running back has to miss a game with the injury, Bucky Irving would see the majority of the work out of the backfield, making him a top-20 running back in Week 3. However, nothing suggests that White won't be able to suit up against the Broncos.

Fantasy managers shouldn't be too worried as White will get a favorable matchup against the Denver Broncos next week. He should be able to bounce back there and hopefully this was a fluke.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (quadriceps) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. St. Brown injured his leg during the Lions' Week 2 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The injury was never considered serious, and it is great to see that St. Brown should not carry any question marks into the weekend. St. Brown has 14 receptions for 132 yards thus far this season. The Lions' passing offense has struggled to fully get going after an incredible 2023 season. With St. Brown not slated to miss any time, hopefully the passing offense can get back on track this weekend.

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott could be a touchdown-dependent fantasy play in Week 2 against New Orleans. But until proven otherwise, the Ohio State product is a solid bet to find paydirt each week and could fall into the end zone multiple times in any given matchup. There are better options for volume at the position in fantasy but Elliott looks like he could be a decent RB2 play this week.

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott led the Cowboys backfield in a Week 1 win over the Cleveland Browns. "Zeke" ran the ball 10 times, gaining 40 yards and scoring a touchdown. He added nine yards on two receptions, catching both of his targets. It was a mostly even split in the backfield between Elliott and Rico Dowdle, who ran eight times. This pattern will likely continue, but will get even more crowded once Dalvin Cook is up to speed and joins the backfield as well. It could be tough to choose what Cowboys running back will be fantasy relevant each week, but Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints could be more illuminating.

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin announced on Tuesday that the plan is for quarterback Justin Fields to make another start in Week 3 against the visiting Los Angeles Chargers this Sunday. The team is "readying itself" for Fields, while Russell Wilson (calf) won't be a full participant in practices just yet this week. "We'll stay in that mindset until something happens," Tomlin said. Fields hasn't been amazing in two starts to begin the year, but he's led the Steelers to two wins, hasn't turned the ball over and has completed a career-high 69.8% of his passes. For now, Pittsburgh isn't going to rush Wilson back from his calf strain, and if Fields continues to play well, there's a chance that Wilson may not get the starting job back. In addition to taking care of the football, the 25-year-old Fields has carried the ball 22 times for 84 yards. He'll be a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues in Week 3 versus the Bolts.

Fields was excellent in the first half where he did nearly all his damage, including a five-yard touchdown pass to tight end Darnell Washington to close Pittsburgh's second drive of the contest. The 25-year-old additionally had a 51-yard completion and a six-yard touchdown pass, both to wide receiver George Pickens, called back due to penalties in the second quarter. It remains to be seen if Russell Wilson (calf) will immediately claim the starting job when healthy, but if Fields gets the nod against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3, he'll remain a QB2 option in superflex formats.

Palmer watched Quentin Johnston end up with two touchdowns, but the Chargers only completed 14 passes on 20 attempts, which limited all of their pass catchers. It could be like this for most of the season, which will be a knock for the fantasy value of all of the Chargers receivers. Palmer will have better weeks, but he might have more games like this as well.

However, he did play 81% of the offensive snaps prior to his ejection, and he makes for a WR4/flex with upside against a Panthers defense that was torched by quarterback Derek Carr and the Saints in Week 1.

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer (knee) is "tracking to play" against the Carolina Panthers in Week 2 despite being listed as questionable, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Jordan Whittington looked to be settled in as the fifth or sixth option to start the season. Now, Whittington might find himself with an every week role. The Rams are expected to be without both Puka Nacua (knee) and Cooper Kupp (ankle) for multiple games. That being said, Demarcus Robinson, Tyler Johnson, and Tutu Atwell figure to be the starters heading into Week 3. Whittington figures to be the primary backup receiver and should see some action as well. He hauled in both his targets for 22 yards in the Week 2 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The sixth-round rookie isn't a must-start option, but could be worth holding in deep leagues or dynasty formats with the Rams shorthanded.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Jordan Whittington is someone who could possibly see more action with the team shorthanded at wideout. Stud wideout Puka Nacua (knee) was placed on the injured reserve which means he'll miss at least the next four games. His absence could open up additional playing time for Whittington. However, it's worth noting that Whittington only played two snaps during the season opener. The assumption is that Cooper Kupp, Demarcus Robinson, and Tyler Johnson figure to be the starting trio for this offense. That doesn't mean Whittington can't be involved as well, but he probably won't see enough targets to warrant rostering in most formats outside of dynasty leagues.

Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet is in a timeshare with Gerald Everett, who out-snapped him and ran more routes in Week 1. Kmet was on the field for less than half of the team's offensive snaps and received just one target during those 27 plays. Given that the Bears passed the ball on 57% of their offensive plays, this lack of involvement stems from the playbook rather than the game script. It appears that specific offensive packages are designed to feature Everett over Kmet. Conversely, with wide receivers Keenan Allen (heel) and Rome Odunze (knee) not practicing and listed as questionable, Kmet could see an increase in targets in Week 2. If the Bears continue to ease rookie quarterback Caleb Williams into the game, particularly with two of his top wideouts potentially limited, Kmet may see more action. Expect him to run more routes, potentially catching three to four passes, with a chance for a red-zone opportunity.
