As Daniels progresses as a passer, McLaurin's fantasy output will rise. McLaurin should remain in your lineup as he will face the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night in what could be a high-scoring affair.

Minnesota's defense is probably nothing special -- regardless of their domination of Daniel Jones and the New York Giants last week -- so Moody should be able to ride the coattails of San Francisco's explosive offensive attack as usual. It might actually be a good thing for Moody that touchdown hog Christian McCaffrey is sidelined (Achilles). If Moody has improved his accuracy issues from last year and the 49ers continue to put him in positions of field goal volume, the talented Moody will be a top fantasy option for the foreseeable future. He's a top-3 play in Week 2.

Fantasy managers should continue to feel comfortable staring Daniels in all formats, given his elite rushing ability, even as he continues to develop as a passer. He should be viewed as a low-end QB1 next week as he faces the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night.

Denver Broncos running back Jaleel McLaughlin took a step back from his Week 1 involvement in the Week 2 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Denver on Sunday. McLaughlin is going to have much better games than this, obviously, but it's hard to justify using a roster spot on him in 12-team fantasy leagues as long as the Broncos' offense continues to struggle so much under rookie quarterback Bo Nix. McLaughlin will have very little standalone value in Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Broncos could look to stick with the running game longer in a Week 2 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, which would favor both McLaughlin and Williams, but it sets up as another difficult day for the Broncos' offense after the Steelers D shut down the Falcons in Week 1. While McLaughlin isn't a recommended fantasy starter this weekend, his touch total in the season opener bodes well for his continued involvement in what looked more like a committee to begin the year.

It wasn't a great day for anyone in the Denver offense, but fantasy managers stashing McLaughlin in deeper leagues have to like the fact that he out-touched Williams and potentially could be the team's preferred third-down back this year. It would be a reach to consider him worth a starting lineup spot in Week 2, though, as the Broncos head home to face the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers next Sunday.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. Addison continues to recover from the ankle injury he suffered in Week 1. Addison had a highly productive rookie year that saw him score ten receiving touchdowns. His sophomore year has not gotten off to the start that many had hoped. If Addison cannot ramp up his activity as the week progresses then he will be in danger of missing another game. Practice reports over the next two days will be important for fantasy managers to monitor.

If he cannot play, wide receiver Jordan Nailor will continue to fill in for Addison when the team takes on the Houston Texans at home in Week 3. Nailor has caught a touchdown in back-to-back weeks and hauled in 3-of-4 targets in Week 2 for 54 yards. He would be a low-end WR3/FLEX play.

On the other hand, teammate Keenan Allen (heel) was held out of practice yet again to start the week. If the rookie wideout can play, he projects to be quarterback Caleb Williams' second option in the passing attack against a porous Colts defense. Still, he'll be tough to trust as a viable option until his first-year signal-caller exhibits a bit more poise in the pocket.

Despite the challenges, there is potential for the Bears' offense to improve. However, with just three receptions on nine targets and no touchdowns so far, Odunze is a risky fantasy option. His next chance to make an impact will come in Week 3 against Indianapolis, where he should be on fantasy benches.

In his absence last Sunday, Jordan Akins saw a role increase at the tight end position, but it led to only one catch on one target for a 10-yard gain. Akins had better production (three catches for 27 yards) with Njoku active in Week 1. The 28-year-old Njoku should remain stashed in most fantasy formats while he heals. We'll have a better idea early next week as to whether Njoku will have a chance to return for Cleveland's Week 4 contest on the road against the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium.
