Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams just isn't being involved enough to be an exciting fantasy option heading into the Week 18 regular-season finale on Sunday in Denver against the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs. In a Broncos backfield that has become a committee approach that also involves Jaleel McLaughlin and rookie Audric Estime, Williams will almost certainly need to find the end zone against a Chiefs defense resting key starters for the playoffs in order to reward fantasy managers as a flex play. Williams didn't see a single rushing attempt for the first time all year in last week's overtime loss to the Bengals and caught only two passes. He hasn't had double-digit carries since way back in Week 9 and has averaged a mere 3.6 yards per carry and 30.3 rushing yards per game in 16 contests this year. In a committee backfield with limited opportunities, there's little upside from Williams.

The only thing Williams did on offense was catch two passes for zero yards, so a dud from the 24-year-old. Williams hasn't been much of a fantasy asset this season and is unlikely to bring much to the table in this three-back committee.

Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams will have even less upside in a good matchup in Week 17 on Saturday against the Cincinnati Bengals on the road with backfield mate Jaleel McLaughlin (quadriceps) returning after a one-game absence. Although Williams averaged 6.0 yards per carry on the ground last week with McLaughlin sidelined in the loss to the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers, he only had four carries for 24 yards. He did benefit, however, in the passing game with a season-high seven receptions for 29 yards. The Broncos offense shouldn't have a tough time moving the ball against a Bengals defense that has allowed 26.2 points per game (fifth-most in the league), but Williams will merely be a low-upside, touchdown-dependent RB3/flex in fantasy lineups with McLaughlin back in the fold. Williams hasn't seen double-digit touches since Nov. 3 and has only scored double-digit half-PPR points three times in 2024.

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson caught seven passes for 66 yards and a touchdown, his second in the past three games, in a Week 17 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Wilson needs just three receptions against the Miami Dolphins in Week 18 to log the first 100-catch season of his young career. That being said, the Dolphins have been excellent against receivers this season, allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to the position. Wilson remains behind Davante Adams in the target pecking order in New York. However, the targets in the New York passing attack are consolidated enough that he is still safe to start as a high-end WR2 in fantasy leagues while also worth considering for DFS tournaments this weekend as he is unlikely to be highly rostered due to the tough matchup.

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson caught seven of his eight targets for 66 yards and a touchdown while losing a fumble in a 40-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 17. Wilson, who is rumored to be considering requesting a trade in the offseason if Aaron Rodgers remains as the team's quarterback in 2025, was one of the team's few bright spots in the blowout loss to Buffalo. His touchdown came on a nine-yard pass from Tyrod Taylor in the fourth quarter. Wilson will take a career-high seven touchdown catches into the season finale against the Miami Dolphins in Week 18.

According to a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, a key part of the New York Jets' offseason will involve determining whether star wide receiver Garrett Wilson will be part of the team's future. The 2022 first-round pick has not connected with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, with Rapoport reporting the two had a "blowup" at training camp and have not been on the same page since. Teams inquired about Wilson at the trade deadline, when New York opted to acquire wide receiver Davante Adams instead. With Wilson eligible for a contract extension after this season, New York has some thinking to do about which members of this lost season ought to be back next year.

Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker is a strong choice for Week 18 fantasy lineups when the Chargers take on the Las Vegas Raiders. Dicker has been one of the league's most consistent and reliable kickers all season and should remain that way in the regular season finale. While most of the Chargers starters are in a holding pattern awaiting the results of Saturday's Bengals-Steelers game, Dicker is one Charger fantasy asset who will be a top-10 option at his position regardless of the result of any other matchup.

Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker had a huge game in Week 17, making all eight of the kicks he lined up for. Dicker made four field goals and four extra points, with his field goals coming from 27, 38, 41, and 35 yards out. It was a big game for Dicker in a big game overall for the Chargers offense. They'll take on the division-rival bottom-dwelling Las Vegas Raiders to wrap up the regular season in Week 18.

Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker will look for another strong game in a Week 17 matchup against the New England Patriots. Dicker has been a top-five fantasy kicker this season and there's no reason to think he won't end up with a top-10 finish in this game. With the Chargers favored over the Patriots, Dicker should see several chances to put up points, although he's not likely to get another chance at Week 16's exciting fair catch free kick.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith (right biceps) checks in as a QB2 in Week 18 against the Los Angeles Rams. Smith has been a poor fantasy quarterback recently. He has only exceeded 13.32 fantasy points once since Seattle's Week 10 bye. The Seahawks will face a middle-of-the-road Rams defense in Week 18. Neither team has a lot to play for with the Rams guaranteed to win the NFC West and the Seahawks eliminated from playoff contention. However, Smith has several attainable incentives in his contract. Most notably, Smith will receive a bonus if the Seahawks reach 10 wins. Despite the lack of playoff motivation, expect Smith to come out and put his best foot forward this weekend. He also needs to prove to the Seahawks that he can be their quarterback of the future. He has a releasable contract at the conclusion of this season and he will likely want a contract extension should he remain with the team. Still, recent weeks have shown us that Smith is not a trustable fantasy asset right now. Deploy him as a QB2 in Week 18. Additionally, Smith was listed as limited on Friday's practice report with a biceps injury but he does not have an injury designation and appears poised to start on Sunday without restrictions.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith threw for just 160 yards and no touchdowns in Week 17 against the Chicago Bears. Seattle's offense only scored six points on the day as a result. Smith was 17/23 passing, but three and outs and short drives characterized Seattle's day. Smith also missed several easy throws throughout the game that would have moved the chains. The output was surprising considering Smith came into Week 17 at No. 3 in passing yards in the league. Smith's dud also significantly affected Seattle's pass catchers. No one on the Seahawks surpassed four receptions or 43 receiving yards. Seattle managed to come out of the week with a much-needed win. However, it was an ugly win at that. Smith will look to lead the Seahawks to the playoffs with better numbers in Week 18 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Smith has a chance to put up solid numbers against a Bears defense that just got torched by Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions. The Bears have not played particularly well over the second half of the season given the turmoil in the organization and the multiple coaching changes. The Seahawks must win on Thursday to keep their playoff hopes alive. The offense should be aggressive both on the ground and through the air as a result. Smith should reach 200 yards passing without issue. The question is whether the touchdowns will flow for him. He has only thrown multiple touchdowns in a game on three occasions this year. That has limited him to the QB2 range despite being third in the league in passing yards. He is a great option for two-quarterback leagues, but he should remain on benches in leagues that only start a single quarterback.

According to the team, Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (ribs) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Denver Broncos. Running back Kareem Hunt (coaching) is also listed as doubtful for this weekend. Pacheco has been unable to practice all week with a rib injury he suffered during their Week 17 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pacheco missed time earlier this season with a fractured fibula but should be expected to operate as the top running back when healthy. While he was sidelined, Kareem Hunt took over the starting role. With the Chiefs already having sole possession of the top seed in the AFC, they will opt to ensure both of their top running backs are fully healthy for the postseason. As a result, fantasy managers should expect rookie Carson Steele to receive a heavy workload in this game alongside Samaje Perine. Steele should be viewed as a viable RB2 option this weekend and a great value play in DFS.

According to Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star, Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (ribs) will not practice on Wednesday. Earlier this week, head coach Andy Reid noted that the running back will be available for the playoffs but will be held out of practice this week. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progress during the week but should not expect him to suit up in Week 18, as the Chiefs are already locked into the No.1 seed in the AFC. This means that Pacheco will have another week off before they return to action in the Divisional Round. Since returning in Week 13 from a fractured fibula that kept him sidelined through most of the season, he averaged just over ten total touches per game, operating as the "1A" in the backfield alongside Kareem Hunt. Given his injury history this season, Hunt will likely continue to limit his overall ceiling.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said on Monday that he will probably hold running back Isiah Pacheco (ribs) back in practice this week, but he expects the RB to be ready to go for the playoffs. Reid said that Pacheco "dinged his ribs" in the Week 17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day. The 25-year-old finished with only six carries for 18 yards last Wednesday before departing in the fourth quarter. With the Chiefs locked into the AFC's top seed for the playoffs, they will most likely rest most of their starters, including Pacheco, in Week 18 against the division-rival Denver Broncos. Fellow RB Kareem Hunt might also see minimal run, if any at all, this weekend with KC having nothing to play for. If both Pacheco and Hunt are rested completely, look for Samaje Perine and rookie Carson Steele to share backfield touches for an offense that will be run by backup QB Carson Wentz.

Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones (quad) is without designation for Sunday night's divisional clash with the Detroit Lions. The eighth-year pro picked up a quad injury in last weekend's bout against his former team -; kicking the week off with back-to-back limited sessions. However, on Friday, he was a full participant and enters the road tilt all systems go. Jones is the RB14 on the season -; averaging 14.3 fantasy points per game. Although Detroit's D has been friendly through the air, they've been staunch against opposing rushing attacks. The Lions are letting up just 97 yards per game on the ground (third-fewest) and the fifth-least fantasy points per game to RBs (19.1). Still, in a game with the highest over/under of the week (57) -; there should be plenty of offense to go around. The 30-year-old ranks as RotoBaller's PPR RB13 in Week 18.

Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones (quadriceps) was listed as limited again in the team's second practice of the week on Thursday. Jones suffered an apparent quadriceps contusion in the second half of their Week 17 win over the division-rival Green Bay Packers and never returned to the contest. However, the 30-year-old veteran's injury isn't considered serious, and he has a shot to play in the Week 18 divisional showdown on Sunday against the Detroit Lions that will decide not only the NFC North champions, but the No. 1 overall seed in the conference for the postseason. Jones could get a questionable tag going into Sunday night's game if he's limited again on Friday, but we're expecting him to suit up and play his usual number of snaps as Minnesota's starter. At worst, Jones will be a low-end RB1 in fantasy. He had 14 carries for 93 yards and a TD in the first meeting against Detroit.

If Jones is active, he'll be a top-10 fantasy RB with many teams resting their starters in the Week 18 regular-season finale.

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (knee) has officially been activated from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's Week 18 contest against the New York Giants. Goedert missed the minimum of four games, putting a pause on what has been one of the worst seasons of his career. Through just nine games, he has 38 catches, 441 yards, and a career-low two touchdowns. He ranks 29th among tight ends in fantasy points this season, and he'll be a mid-range TE2 option for Sunday's divisional contest. Unfortunately for Goedert, the Giants have allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends in 2024.

The Eagles opened Goedert's 21-day practice window to return from Injured Reserve on Wednesday, and it appears he'll be officially activated by Saturday and return to action on Sunday when the team faces the division-rival New York Giants in the Week 18 regular-season finale. The 30-year-old will be returning for the first time since injuring his knee back in Week 13. However, for fantasy purposes, managers should be looking elsewhere. Philly will almost certainly cap Goedert's playing time in his return as they look to get him up to speed heading into the postseason. On top of that, third-string quarterback Tanner McKee is in line to make his first career start with both Jalen Hurts (concussion, finger) and Kenny Pickett (ribs) banged up.

Not only will Goedert be potentially facing a limited snap count if he's active on Sunday, but he could also be taking passes from third-string QB Tanner McKee if Kenny Pickett (ribs) doesn't play.
