Ravens head coach Jesse Minter said after Sunday's 36-10 loss to the Bills that Jackson will undergo surgery to address his right thumb injury and will be placed on injured reserve, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.

According to Wacker, Minter added that Jackson's injury could be season-ending, with a more definitive timeline likely to be provided once surgery is completed. The injury is another tough break for Jackson, who had missed the previous three contests due to a left high-ankle sprain before departing after playing just one snap in Sunday's loss. With backup Tyler Huntley (toe) also exiting the loss to the Bills with an injury, Baltimore's quarterback situation is in flux heading into a Thursday night matchup with the Jaguars. Third-string quarterback Joe Fagnano finished up Sunday's contest, though he admitted afterward that he was playing in some pain after taking a hit to his knee during the game.

Jackson (right thumb) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Bills.

After previously being deemed questionable to return, Jackson has now been confirmed to be unavailable for the rest of the contest. In his absence, Tyler Huntley has taken over the Ravens' QB duties versus Buffalo. Prior to his first-quarter exit, Jackson didn't complete his only passing attempt.

Jackson remains in the Baltimore locker room for further evaluation after he was forced out of the game following the team's first offensive play of the day, when his hand made contact with a Bills defender as he was following through on a throw. Jackson had been cleared to start Sunday after missing the Ravens' previous three games due to an ankle sprain.

Lloyd rushed three times for seven yards and brought in his only target for nine yards in the Packers' 27-19 win over the Panthers on Thursday.

In his second game of the season, Josh Jacobs logged a total of 27 touches, leaving precious little work for any other back. Lloyd slightly outpaced Pierre Strong by two carries, but he still logged a season low in rush attempts. With Jacobs looking fully capable of handling a workhorse role moving forward, Lloyd may be destined for similar volume to Thursday's on most weeks as long as his star teammate is available.

Lloyd tallied six carries for 20 yards and two catches (on two targets) for 15 yards during Sunday's 20-17 loss in Detroit.

The Packers got top RB Josh Jacobs back in the lineup for the first time this season after he spent the first six contests on the commissioner's exempt list. However, he wasn't able to provide a jolt to a moribund ground game, as the team averaged just 3.2 YPC on its 19 rushes. On a positive note for Lloyd, though, he was the only Green Bay running back other than Jacobs to earn a touch, as an active Pierre Strong did not, and Kaleb Johnson (coach's decision) was a healthy scratch. Lloyd appears set to serve as the team's No. 2 backfield option moving forward, which should provide him regular reps with which to work behind Jacobs.

Burden secured seven of nine targets for 56 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 34-17 win over the Seahawks on Monday night.

Burden tied Colston Loveland for the team lead in both receptions and targets, and he was on the receiving end of Caleb Williams' one touchdown pass of the night. The second-year wideout's scoring grab came from one yard out in the first quarter and was his third of the season, and Burden now has a 19-281-2 line on 21 targets over the last three games heading into a Week 9 home matchup against the Buccaneers on Sunday night.

Burden brought in all four targets for 130 yards and a touchdown and rushed once for seven yards in the Bears' 30-24 win over the Patriots on Thursday.

Burden comfortably led the Bears in receiving yards with the second-highest total of his career, and he added his second touchdown catch of the season on a 24-yard grab just before halftime. He also had a game-long 58-yard catch late in the first quarter to set up a D'Andre Swift four-yard touchdown one play later, and the fleet-footed receiver has accumulated 225 of his 491 receiving yards on the season in the last two games alone. Burden has arguably overtaken Rome Odunze as Chicago's most explosive pass-catching weapon, and he should play a critical role again in a Week 8 road showdown against the Seahawks on Monday night, Nov. 2.

Darnold completed 17 of 34 passes for 188 yards with two touchdowns and one interception while adding two rushes for 20 yards in the Seahawks' 34-17 loss to the Bears on Monday night.

Darnold averaged just 5.5 yards per attempt and took three sacks from a Bears defense that made an impact addition in Jeffery Simmons on Thursday via trade with the Titans. Darnold's 50.0 percent completion rate was a season low for him in non-injury-shortened games, and the veteran signal-caller also threw an interception for the sixth consecutive contest. Darnold did toss multiple touchdowns for the first time since Week 4, connecting with Jaxon Smith-Njigba (43 yards) and Cooper Kupp (seven yards) for his pair of scoring strikes. Darnold will take an unsightly 10:9 TD:INT heading into a Week 9 home matchup against the Cardinals on Sunday.

Darnold completed 20 of 28 passes for 257 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Sunday's 20-3 win over the Chiefs. He added two rushing attempts for 17 yards.

Darnold threw a 28-yard touchdown pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the second quarter to give the Seahawks a 10-0 lead, but Darnold's end-zone interception from the 3-yard line in the final minute of the first half allowed the Chiefs to stay within striking distance. Seattle's dominant defense made sure Darnold's eighth interception in five starts since returning from a glute injury wouldn't prove too costly. He has matched that interception total with eight touchdown passes over that span. Darnold and the 4-3 Seahawks will play at home in prime time again Week 8, hosting the Bears on MNF.

Loop was estimated as a non-participant in Monday's walk-through practice due to a right groin injury.

Loop isn't expected to be available to play in Thursday's game against the Jaguars while he manages the groin issue, and he could be a candidate for injured reserve. Ravens head coach Jesse Minter has confirmed that Jake Moody will be elevated from the practice squad to handle kicking duties against Jacksonville in place of Loop, who has knocked down 13 of 17 field-goal attempts through eight games.

Loop has been dealing with an unspecified issue and may go on injured reserve, Brian Wacker of the Baltimore Sun reports.

With Loop a candidate to go on IR, per coach Jesse Minter, Jake Moody will be the Ravens' kicker Thursday night against the Jaguars, per Wacker, and quite possibly beyond. Moody currently is on Baltimore's practice squad, but he'll either be elevated or signed to the team's active roster ahead of Week 9 action.

Loop went 2-for-2 on field-goal tries and made his only PAT during Sunday's 35-13 loss to the Bengals.

Loop made an extra point in the first quarter and field goals from 34 and 24 yards in the second quarter before he and the rest of the Ravens went scoreless in the second half. The kicker has now gone 12-for-15 on field-goal tries while converting all 17 of his PATs over the first seven contests during the 2026 campaign.

Ward completed 26 of 40 passes for 304 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 43-36 overtime loss to the Bengals. He added seven rushing attempts for 41 yards, lost a fumble, ran in a two-point conversion and threw a successful two-point conversion.

Ward completed 20 of 31 passes for 181 yards with an interception in Sunday's 27-24 loss to Cleveland. He added five yards on two carries.

McGowan rushed five times for 29 yards and returned four kickoffs for 103 yards Sunday in a loss to the Jaguars.

McGowan turned 11 carries into 46 yards, caught his only target for two yards and added 140 yards as a kick returner during Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Vikings.

McGowan took four carries for 27 yards during Sunday's 26-20 loss versus the Titans.

Lane caught his only target for 13 yards in Sunday's 36-10 loss to the Bills.

Lane caught three of five targets for 25 yards during Sunday's 35-13 loss to the Bengals.

Strange caught both of his targets for 55 yards during Sunday's 42-7 win over Indianapolis.
