Mahomes continues to spread the ball around with top wideouts Rashee Rice (suspension) and Xavier Worthy (shoulder) out of action, dialing up nine different targets Sunday after completing passes to seven different receivers in last week's loss. Mahomes is going to continue to have to do the heavy lifting for Kansas City's offense ahead of a Week 3 matchup against the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football.

In the absence of Worthy, Mahomes recorded completions to seven different targets, focusing the bulk of his attention on Hollywood Brown (10-99-0) and JuJu Smith-Schuster (5-55-0), who were the targets on 21 of his pass attempts. Following this season-opening stumble, Mahomes and the Chiefs will have to quickly turn their focus to a Super Bowl LIX rematch with the Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium in a Week 2 matchup on Sunday, Sept. 14.

Irving rushed 17 times for 71 yards and brought in all six targets for 50 yards in the Buccaneers' 20-19 win over the Texans on Monday night.

Backfield mate Rachaad White actually took the first touch of the night for the Buccaneers, but Irving went on to gain 16 yards on his first two carries later in the opening possession. The Texans were able to clamp down on Irving more consistently as the game unfolded, but the versatile second-year back helped make up for some inefficiency with his work as a receiver. Irving particularly came up big on Tampa Bay's game-winning drive, recording four of his catches for a total of 39 yards. White would go on to punch in the game-winning score, but Irving still outpaced him by seven carries and four targets. The duo should continue in a timeshare that clearly tilts in Irving's favor during a Week 3 home matchup against the Jets on Sunday afternoon.

Both Irving and Falcons counterpart Bijan Robinson were stymied by the opposing front seven, but each also found a way to get into the end zone as a receiver. Irving's nine-yard touchdown grab in the third quarter was particularly critical for his fantasy day, as it prevented what would have otherwise been a total washout in that regard. Irving also saw a bit of a lesser rushing workload than might have been expected in the back-and-forth affair, and he could have an uphill climb to an efficient performance again in a Week 2 Monday night road matchup against the Texans on Sept. 15.

Evans secured five of 11 targets for 56 yards in the Buccaneers' 20-19 win over the Texans on Monday night.

Evans comfortably led the Buccaneers in targets and also set the pace in receiving yards, albeit by a smaller margin. The Texans did a good job overall disrupting the rhythm between Evans and Baker Mayfield, leading to Evans' second straight five-catch, sub-60-yard effort to open the season. The successful QB-WR duo will look to author their first breakout performance of 2025 when the Buccaneers host the Jets in a Week 3 matchup on Sunday afternoon.

Evans recorded team-high catch and target totals while finishing second in receiving yards to rookie position mate Emeka Egbuka. The perennial Pro Bowler could be due for an even bigger workload in a Week 2 road showdown against the Texans on Monday night, Sept. 15.

Allen came out for the final two plays of the first quarter but returned to start the second quarter with gauze in his nose. After putting the team on his back in Week 1 against the Ravens, Allen let his defense and running game do most of the work in this one before resting for the final two possessions as backup Mitchell Trubisky mopped up. With the Bills averaging 36.0 points per game heading into Thursday's home game against the Dolphins, Allen's ceiling remains sky-high, even if he doesn't always have to bring his A-game to win.

Allen completed 33 of 46 passes for 394 yards and two touchdowns while rushing 14 times for 30 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 41-40 win over the Ravens.

Allen opened the scoring with a 15-yard touchdown pass to Dalton Kincaid on the opening drive, but the Ravens responded with a 20-3 run. Allen then tossed a 10-yard touchdown pass to Keon Coleman and added a one-yard rushing touchdown before guiding the offense in position for a game-winning field goal in the final seconds of a fourth quarter that featured 251 Allen passing yards, as the Bills played their best football down the stretch while the Ravens sputtered. With the other three AFC East teams all losing Sunday, the Bills already hold the division lead heading into a Week 2 road game against the Jets.

Little made a 42-yard field goal in the second quarter to give the Jaguars a 17-10 lead at halftime, and he later converted a 25-yard attempt in the fourth quarter to put the team up 27-24 with 11:43 to play. Jacksonville held the lead much of the rest of the way before Jake Browning scored a one-yard rushing touchdown with 18 second left in regulation to give Cincinnati the win. On the season, Little has been perfect, making all six of his field-goal tries and all five of his extra points.

Little's floor could receive a significant boost this season if the Jaguars' offense shows improvement under first-year head coach Liam Coen.
