Tagovailoa completed 26 of 32 passes for 315 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Dolphins' 33-27 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

Tagovailoa and the Dolphins' offense as a whole were in dire straits over the first quarter-plus as the Patriots raced out to a 12-0 lead. Matters took a turn for the better in the second quarter when Tagovailoa hit Jaylen Waddle and De'Von Achane for touchdown passes of 18 and 29 yards, respectively. However, although Tagovailoa was able to compile some yardage in the second half, he wasn't able to lead Miami to anything other than a pair of field goals, as the Dolphins' other second-half points came from a Malik Washington 74-yard punt return touchdown. The Dolphins already have their backs against the wall at 0-2, making Thursday night's Week 3 road matchup against the Bills a critical early-season game for Tagovailoa and his teammates.

Tagovailoa completed 14 of 23 passes for 114 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions while adding one rush for seven yards in the Dolphins' 33-8 loss to the Colts on Sunday. He also lost a fumble and threw a two-point conversion pass.

In a harbinger of the type of game it would be for the Dolphins offense and Tagovailoa in particular, the 2020 first-round pick sailed a pass intended for Tyreek Hill very high on the opening drive, leading to an interception by Camryn Bynum. The veteran signal-caller then handed the ball to the Colts again on the next possession, losing a fumble recovered by former teammate Xavien Howard. Tagovailoa would go on to short-circuit another possession with a third-quarter interception in Indianapolis territory, and only his 11-yard touchdown pass to De'Von Achane and subsequent two-point conversion pass to Julian Hill in the fourth quarter gave the signal-caller's fantasy day any semblance of respectability. Tagovailoa's first opportunity for atonement comes in a Week 2 home matchup next Sunday against a Patriots defense that allowed 362 yards to the Raiders' Geno Smith in Week 1 while playing without Christian Gonzalez (hamstring).

Montgomery rushed 11 times for 57 yards and a touchdown and secured his only target for four yards in the Lions' 52-21 win over the Bears on Sunday.

Montgomery and backfield mate Jahmyr Gibbs each recorded a rushing touchdown, and Montgomery also had just one fewer carry than his star teammate, albeit while compiling 37 fewer rushing yards. Montgomery still averaged 5.2 yards per carry, however, and he rang up his first TD of the season on a one-yard run late in the first quarter. Through two games, it appears the backs will continue to operate in a fairly close timeshare, but they face a thorny matchup in a Week 3 road trip to face the Ravens on Monday night, Sept. 22.

Montgomery rushed the ball 11 times for 25 yards in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Packers. He added four receptions on four targets for 18 yards.

The Lions' offense struggled to get on track, which led to underwhelming performances for nearly all of their skill-position players. Montgomery wasn't an exception, but he did manage 15 touches, nearly evenly matching Jahmyr Gibbs' 19. A more typical game script may change how the backs are deployed, but Montgomery still appears to have a significant role in Detroit's backfield heading into a Week 2 matchup against the Bears.

Metcalf recorded three receptions on six targets for 20 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Seahawks.

The Steelers' passing attack took a significant step backward relative to Week 1, and Metcalf's output fell accordingly. He still led the team with six targets, though his longest gain went for only nine yards. Metcalf managed to salvage his day with a leaping two-yard touchdown shortly before halftime for his first score as a Steeler, though it was otherwise a forgettable performance.

Metcalf recorded four receptions on seven targets for 83 yards in Sunday's 34-32 win over the Jets.

Metcalf led the Steelers in targets and yards in his debut with the team, with the majority of his production coming after the catch. He logged long gains of 31 and 23 yards on quick screens in the first quarter before working over the middle for an 18-yard gain late in the third quarter. Jonnu Smith and Calvin Austin were also heavily targeted in the offense, so Metcalf may have inconsistent results. However, he had a strong Week 1 performance with his new team.

Rodgers completed 18 of 33 passes for 203 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Seahawks.

Rodgers didn't get much help from his pass catchers, but he still had a letdown performance in Week 2. His lone touchdown came on a lofted jump ball to DK Metcalf late in the first half from two yards away, and he also recorded three completions of at least 20 yards -- though Rodgers still managed only 6.2 yards per attempt. While that was a significant departure from Week 1, Rodgers was let down by his pass catchers on a few occasions, most notably on a pass in the end zone that was deflected by Calvin Austin on a pass intended for Pat Freiermuth that was ultimately intercepted. With a subpar offensive line and below-average playmakers around him, it's fair to expect more mediocre fantasy performances from Rodgers moving forward.

Rodgers (back) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Sunday's game against Seattle.

Rodgers told reporters Wednesday that back tightness impacted his mobility during a 34-32 win over the Jets this past Sunday. He's apparently moved past it, healthy for Week 2 and hoping to build on a four-TD showing in his Steelers debut.

Purdy (toe/shoulder), who has been ruled out for Sunday's game in New Orleans, is considered unlikely to be available for the 49ers' Week 3 game versus the Cardinals, though his condition has improved over the past week, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. "We'll see for next week," one source told Schefter, regarding Purdy's status. "Next week will be tight, but he progressed a lot this week."

Purdy (toe) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at New Orleans, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Purdy, whom head coach Kyle Shanahan has called a "longshot" to play Sunday against the Saints, could miss 2-to-5 weeks with a turf toe variant, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Tuten rushed eight times for 42 yards and secured both targets for 32 yards and a touchdown while also returning one kickoff for 26 yards in the Jaguars' 31-27 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.

Tuten had three carries for 11 yards and returned one kickoff for 12 yards during Sunday's 26-10 win over the Panthers.

Henry was on the field for 51 of 60 snaps on offense in Sunday's 33-27 win over the Dolphins, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, and he caught one of three targets for nine yards.

Henry caught four of his eight targets for 66 yards in the Patriots' 20-13 loss to the Raiders on Sunday.
