Hampton rushed nine times for 20 yards and brought in two of three targets for seven yards in the Chargers' 24-9 loss to the Rams on Sunday.

Hampton logged just one more carry than Kimani Vidal and five more than Keaton Mitchell, as the Chargers' ground game continued to resemble a committee scenario. Hampton now has 45 rushing yards or fewer in four straight games, and he's logged single-digit carries in three of those contests. The second-year back is averaging just 3.5 yards per carry behind an injury-hampered offensive line as well, leaving his outlook bleak for a Week 9 home matchup against an aggressive Texans defense next Sunday.

Head coach Shane Steichen said after Sunday's 42-7 loss at Jacksonville that he'll evaluate "everything, including whether" Jones remains the Colts' starting quarterback, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Jones completed 19 of 28 passes for 144 yards, one touchdown (to WR Josh Downs) and two interceptions while rushing four times for seven yards in Week 8. He also yielded the Colts' final three drives to backup QB Anthony Richardson, who didn't fare much better (2-for-2 passing for eight yards, two rushes for four yards). Sunday's performance marked Jones' fourth (in eight appearances) in which he didn't reach 200 yards passing, and overall he's sitting on a 5:9 TD:INT on the campaign. Indianapolis is in the midst of a fire sale of its active roster, and handing the keys to the offense to Richardson to see how he looks in the second half may be in the cards.

Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that Jones will remain the team's starting quarterback in Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.

Though the Colts have limped out to a disappointing 2-5 start to the season, Steichen reiterated that he has confidence in Jones, who signed a two-year, $88 million extension in March after his inaugural campaign in Indianapolis was cut short by a torn Achilles tendon. As expected, Jones hasn't provided much of an impact as a runner (21 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown) coming off major surgery, but his significant regression as a passer (59.6 percent completion rate, 4:7 TD:INT, 5.8 yards per attempt) has impeded the Indianapolis offense. While his contract should give Jones some level of security, another poor performance or two could compel the Colts to give 2023 first-round pick Anthony Richardson another look under center.

Jones completed 13 of 22 passes for 108 yards with an interception in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Vikings. He added 13 yards on four carries.

Whatever Jones learned during his brief time under Minnesota head coach Kevin O'Connell at the end of the 2024 season didn't help him figure out Brian Flores' defense. The veteran quarterback posted a season low in passing yards, and he failed to throw a touchdown for the third time in seven starts this season. Jones will take a miserable 4:7 TD:INT into a Week 8 tilt against the Jaguars.

Fitzgerald made both field-goal attempts and converted his only extra-point try in Thursday's 27-19 loss to Green Bay.

Fitzgerald didn't attempt a kick in the Week 7 loss to Tampa Bay. The 26-year-old got back on the board Thursday, draining a 39-yard field goal early in the first quarter before capping off the night with a 50-yarder late in the third. Fitzgerald has made all 13 of his field goals this season, though he's missed five extra-point attempts.

Fitzgerald did not attempt a field goal and went 1-for-2 on extra-point tries during Sunday's 43-13 loss to the Buccaneers.

Fitzgerald went without a field-goal attempt for the first time in his two-year career, and to make matters worse, he registered his fifth missed PAT of the season. The kicker has now gone 11-for-11 on field-goal tries while converting 12 of 17 extra-point attempts over six regular-season contests this year.

Fitzgerald made both of his field-goal attempts but missed one of two PATs in the Panthers' 25-14 win over the Eagles on Sunday.

Fitzgerald converted field-goal attempts from 47 and 52 yards but continues to struggle with PATs. The kicker missed two extra-point attempts in Week 4 against the Lions as well. Fitzgerald remains a perfect 11-for-11 on field-goal attempts while dropping to 11-for-15 on extra points through five contests in the 2026 regular season.
