White is slated to lead the Buccaneers backfield Sunday against the Patriots with Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) ruled out for that contest, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Irving has been sidelined since coming out of Week 4 action with a shoulder subluxation and a left foot sprain and so far hasn't been able to mix into any drills since late September. White has been the biggest beneficiary in Irving's absence, totaling 262 yards from scrimmage and three rushing TDs on 67 touches over the last four games. Reserve RB Sean Tucker (26 touches for 72 total yards and two rushing TDs) also has been in the mix during that span. The going may be tough for White in Week 10 versus a New England defense that has held opposing running backs to an NFL-best 3.1 yards per carry this season.

White rushed 13 times for 35 yards and had two receptions on as many targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 23-3 win over the Saints.

White got another start in place of injured starter Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) in Week 8, leading the Buccaneers' backfield in carries (13) and touches (15) in a comfortable win. Davis played three of the Bills' 64 offensive snaps and tallied 105 kick-return yards in Sunday's 28-21 win over the Chiefs.

After playing just three offensive snaps during the Week 9 win, Davis appears firmly behind both James Cook and Ty Johnson in Buffalo's backfield. The Kentucky product handed kick-return duties for the first time this season during Sunday's win, logging 105 yards on four returns. Expect Davis to play a minor offensive role while contributing on special teams in the Week 10 matchup against the Dolphins.

Davis didn't practice Wednesday due to an illness but capped Week 9 prep with back-to-back full sessions, paving the way for him to be available Sunday. James Cook has dominated the Bills backfield, while Ty Johnson has been more involved than Davis, leaving the latter on the outside looking in.

Davis (illness) was listed as a full participant at Thursday's practice.

Davis practiced without limitations, indicating he has recovered from the illness that prevented him from practicing Wednesday. He has logged nine touches apiece in a pair of lopsided wins but hasn't exceeded two touches in any of Buffalo's other five games, so Davis isn't expected to play a significant role against the Chiefs on Sunday.

Brooks had a carry for one yard in Sunday's loss to the Bears, which marked his first rush and even his first offensive snap since Week 3's blowout loss to the Vikings.
