Mayfield's one interception was also particularly critical to the outcome, as it came with 8:28 remaining at the Falcons' 33-yard line and ultimately led to an Atlanta touchdown that narrowed what had been a 28-20 deficit. On the brighter side, Mayfield's yardage total was his best since Week 5, and he'll aim to keep the Buccaneers' playoff hopes afloat with a more efficient performance in a Week 16 road matchup against the Panthers on Sunday, Dec. 21.

Hall kicked off this week with no practice Wednesday due to a knee injury, but he progressed from limited Thursday to all activity Friday, clearing him to continue to lead the Jets backfield this weekend. Since the team's Week 9 bye, he's racked up 93 touches for 427 yards from scrimmage and two total TDs over the last five contests. With undrafted rookie QB Brady Cook set to start Sunday with Tyrod Taylor (groin) and Justin Fields (knee) unavailable, Hall could take on even more of the onus for New York's offense.

Burrow was held to 225 passing yards in Sunday's shutout loss to the Ravens. He connected on 25 passes on 39 attempts, was picked off twice and sacked three times.

Time after time, the Bengals moved the ball in the middle of the field, only to stall out when reaching Ravens territory. The final insult was a pick-six thrown by Burrow after they had driven the ball inside the Ravens' 10-yard line. With the loss, the Bengals have been eliminated from the playoffs and have some hard questions to answer for the long run. In the short-term, they may even question whether it makes sense to risk Burrow re-injuring his toe when facing three meaningless games against Miami, Arizona and Cleveland.

Otherwise, Burrow's second game back after a long layoff saw the 2020 first-round pick thrive despite snowy conditions, connecting on a season-high four touchdown passes to Tee Higgins (21, 25 yards), Chase Brown (10 yards ) and Mike Gesicki (12 yards). Burrow will next face off with the same Ravens squad he upended in his Thanksgiving Night return when Baltimore pays a visit for a Week 15 matchup next Sunday.
