Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield was held in check by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 11. The 29-year-old was off last week with the organization on a bye week. Now, Mayfield is set to bounce back against the New York Giants in Week 12. Mayfield has looked like one of the best quarterbacks all season long with 24 touchdowns and over 2,500 passing yards through 10 games. The loss of Chris Godwin (ankle) does hurt this offense, but Mike Evans (hamstring) is expected to return this weekend. The return of Evans would be a significant boost for this offense. Fantasy managers should feel fine plugging Mayfield in as a QB1 for this weekend.

Mayfield has been incredible throughout most of the season, but didn't have the same success this weekend. He completed 18-of-29 passing attempts for 116 yards and one touchdown in the three-point loss. Mayfield showed heart in this game and even stiff armed his way to giving his team the lead with less than a minute left. Fantasy managers shouldn't get frustrated by this performance. Mayfield is likely to get wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) back after the bye week. The expectation is that Mayfield will resume his QB1 ways in Week 12 against the New York Giants.

Kicker Ka'imi Fairbarin of the Houston Texans remains a clear starter once again as his team prepares to take on the slumping Tennessee Titans in Week 12. The longtime Texans kicker has logged at least two made field goals in seven consecutive games, and nobody in the NFL has made more kicks from beyond 50 yards this season. Nine of his 11 kicks from 50-plus yards were indoors, and the Texans find themselves playing their first of two matchups with the Titans at home this week. At this point, Fairbairn is an every-game starter while attached to a talented Houston offense.

Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn remains the overall No. 1 fantasy option at his position with another favorable matchup on Monday against the Dallas Cowboys. The Houston kicker is up to 11 made field goals from beyond 50 yards already, which ties the NFL record in a season with two more months still to go. Houston will take on a Cowboys defense that is allowing opponents to score on 46.5% of drives, which is worse than everyone except Carolina, and could be even further stressed due to their offense's struggles without quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring). Fairbairn should be in all starting lineups against Dallas.

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (quadricep, calf) will suit up for the Packers in Week 12 after practicing in a limited fashion on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Jacobs was left off the injury report for their matchup with the San Francisco 49ers this week, and he could have some success against a 49ers' run defense that is much more susceptible. The 49ers are just 17th in EPA per rush attempt this season and since Week 6, have the second-highest missed-tackle rate since Week 6 and a middle-of-the-road success rate allowed (13th). Jacobs has been reliant on volume for the most part and that's been readily available to him this season in Green Bay. He'll be incredibly important for the Packers if they are to have success, so Jacobs could be in line for solid production as a back end RB1 for fantasy purposes.

Jacobs' status is worth watching leading up to Sunday's contest against the visiting San Francisco 49ers, and if he's active, he should be considered a low-end RB1 that should be in most starting fantasy lineups. The 49ers defense hasn't been quite as strong in 2024 as in years past and they've allowed the ninth-most half-PPR points per game to RBs in the last three weeks. The 26-year-old has seen a strong 19.9 touches per game in his first year in Green Bay.

Jacobs played through his quad issue in the Week 11 win over the division-rival Chicago Bears, but the calf issue is a new one. The 26-year-old had another workhorse role last Sunday, seeing 22 touches for 134 scrimmage yards and a rushing score against a tough Bears defense. We'll keep a close eye on his practice status through the rest of the week, but as of right now, Jacobs should be expected to suit up this Sunday for a big NFC matchup against the visiting San Francisco 49ers. If active, Jacobs should remain a low-end RB1 choice for fantasy managers with little competition for touches in Green Bay's backfield. The former Raiders RB enters Week 12 averaging 14.4 half-PPR points, which has him tied for 15th among RBs with Jonathan Taylor.

New England Patriots wide receiver DeMario Douglas remains a viable fantasy football option for Week 12 against the Miami Dolphins. Douglas has maintained a steady role on offense lately, bringing his season totals to 43 catches, 415 yards, and one touchdown. He's on pace to break the statistical marks from his rookie campaign last year, both on a full-season and per-game basis. In addition to Douglas' year-long productivity, he also played quite well in his last matchup against the Dolphins back in Week 5. During that meeting, Douglas turned in one of his better performances of the season, catching six of nine targets for 59 yards. Miami has allowed the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this year, but that number is likely skewed from the four-game stretch for which Tua Tagovailoa was sidelined; during that span, opponents adopted a run-heavy approach against the Dolphins and did not have to develop an overly aggressive passing attack. This Miami team allowed Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp to combine for 16 catches and 178 yards just two weeks ago. Douglas isn't on the same level as either Rams receiver, but the bottom line is that the Dolphins have shown they aren't going to shut down every pass-catcher they face (including Douglas when they faced him back on October 6.) Douglas is a viable WR3/FLEX option in fantasy leagues with at least 12 teams.

Outside of a few dud games this season, Douglas has been quite productive, totaling 44 catches, 415 yards, and one touchdown. The second-year receiver has played especially well with Drake Maye under center, repeatedly operating as one of his primary targets while handing a snap share above 50 percent. Douglas remains a low-end WR3/FLEX option with additional value in PPR formats.

New England Patriots wide receiver DeMario Douglas has emerged as one of quarterback Drake Maye's most dependable options on offense. As a result, Douglas generates enough volume to give himself legitimate WR3/FLEX appeal in full-PPR and even some half-PPR leagues. Over the last two weeks, Douglas has totaled 14 targets, 11 catches, and 85 yards all despite playing fewer than 50 percent of the offensive snaps last Sunday. This week, the Patriots face the Los Angeles Rams, whose defense has allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. They're a little better against slot receivers (like Douglas) than perimeter receivers, but the Patriots' 23-year-old pass-catcher should be trusted as a WR3 in most fantasy leagues.

Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts faded into obscurity again in Sunday's 38-6 loss to the Broncos, catching just one of his three targets for a paltry nine yards. No one stood out on offense in Denver so it is not entirely on Pitts, but so much for having a regular role in the 2024 version of this offense. Just when it looked like he was on a bit of a roll in Weeks 5 through 8, the 24-year-old has posted two one-catch performances in the last three weeks. As inconsistent and frustrating as it has been to have him in fantasy lineups, believe it or not, the former first-round draft pick is still well within the top 12 in fantasy scoring at the position, so he likely warrants a starting role going forward as painful as it may be from week to week. After the Falcons' bye, Atlanta will face the Chargers who have been pretty good at defending the tight end position, even limiting the Bengal TEs on Sunday night to just three catches for 22 yards. Pitts likely finds himself as a volatile back-end TE1 that week.

Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts is within the top 10 in fantasy scoring at the position through 10 weeks of the season despite some inconsistent play, including a zero-catch performance in Week 4 and a one-catch performance in Week 9. The 24-year-old rebounded last week with four catches for 55 yards and this week gets a Denver defense that is middle of the pack in allowing production to TEs, although Travis Kelce torched them for 64 yards and a touchdown on eight catches last week. Pitts has a solid aDOT of 8.16 which has allowed him to average 14.3 yards per reception, so he doesn't need many catches to maintain relevance in PPR leagues. However, with his volatility still a concern, the former first-round draft pick projects as a back-end TE1 in Week 11.

After recording just one catch in Week 9, Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts got back on track in Week 10, hauling in four of six targets for 55 yards in a 20-17 loss to the Saints. There have been more productive and consistent options at tight end, but Pitts is still top 10 at the position in targets, receptions, yards, and touchdowns, so while he can be a bit volatile, the 24-year-old remains a TE1 in a solid Falcons offense. He may even be in a better spot than his fellow receivers next week against the Broncos, who have been good against WRs but not as great against TEs, with Brock Bowers, Cade Otton, and Travis Kelce each catching at least seven balls against them. As such, Pitts will again be a volatile TE1 in Week 11.
